Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 541: Chapter 534: Kung Fu Basketball (Five More Updates)

Real Madrid vs. Green Arrow?

That was practically a joke. The Green Arrow Team was the pride of the entire Yunhai University sports department. How could a group of hastily assembled little zebras possibly compare with the Green Arrow Team?

Despite all the skepticism, the Real Madrid Team still stepped onto the basketball court.

Regrettably, aside from Liu Minghui and Lin Zifeng, who had a smidgen of confidence, the others held no hope of defeating Green Arrow.

Seeing their opponents’ arrogant and insufferable attitude, Liu Minghui was extremely disgusted.

”Damn! What kind of trash team, calling themselves Green Arrow? I might as well be Yida!”

Liu Minghui, being a straightforward Northeasterner, encountered the opposing players flipping them off with disdain. This really pissed him off.

”Hey, hey, hey! You trash, did you come here planning to embarrass yourselves? Stop wasting our Green Arrow Team’s time. Better step down now to save some face before you get totally humiliated later.”

The captain of the Green Arrow Team, a young man with thick eyebrows and big eyes, sporting a neat crop of spiky hair and those charming eyes, partnered with his flashy street basketballs skills, truly attracted the frenzied screams of many girls.

”What did you say? Who’s trash? You’re the trash!” Liu Minghui almost charged over but luckily, Lin Zifeng grabbed him at the crucial moment, stopping the northeastern man in his tracks.

”Oh? Whether or not we’re trash, we’ll know soon enough once we start playing.” The Green Arrow Team players gathered around, flipping off the Real Madrid Team.

However, other than Liu Minghui, no one else really retorted, because everyone knew deep down that playing against the Green Arrow Team was akin to self-torture. Thus, everyone was lacking in spirit, merely there as sparring partners; a loss was a loss.

But Lin Zifeng did not think so, his nerves struck by the opponent’s arrogance.

After the referee’s signal, the two teams took their positions and embarked on a fierce collision.

From the start of the game to being dunked on by their opponents, it was just a matter of seconds!

The atmosphere in the Real Madrid Team was utterly deflated, everyone was dispirited and downcast, but Liu Minghui was filled with fighting spirit. He sprinted into the opponent’s territory, snatching the basketball several times, it was just unfortunate that his own teammates were unsupportively useless.

Three minutes later, the score was already 4-0!

How could they continue playing this game?

Now, the upperclassmen, underclassmen, and everyone watching the game had already lost interest, just waiting with a spectator’s mindset for the Real Madrid Team to be completely crushed.

”Huahua, it’s no good. Real Madrid can’t hold on, it’s already 4-0. If this keeps up, we’re definitely losing.”

Liu Tangtang grew more anxious as she watched, clutching the box of popcorn in her arms tightly as she watched the game on the field.

Huahua didn’t speak, her expression fluctuating. She had already lost hope in the Real Madrid Team; with a 4-0 score, how could they continue the game?

Their strength simply wasn’t on the same level.

Even Nangong Bing was sweating for the Real Madrid Team, unfortunately, the four consecutive losses had left the game without any highlights.

It was undeniable that the Green Arrow Team’s abilities were several notches above Real Madrid’s.

Meanwhile, Lin Zifeng was also rather passive on the field. Aside from Liu Minghui who was somewhat fighting, his other teammates were just there for show, completely listless and devoid of any fighting spirit. Anyone could tell that this match was doomed.

”Can you fuckers perk up a bit? If we keep playing like this, we’re done for!” Liu Minghui cursed.

”Cut it out! Is it not clear that their skills are out of our league? We’ve already lost,” Real Madrid teammates expressed listlessly.

But Liu Minghui just wouldn’t accept it. He and Lin Zifeng each guarded a direction. Seeing this, Lin Zifeng could now understand that the Green Arrow Team’s strength was formidable, and their teamwork was simply not something the Real Madrid Team could match.

”Bang!”

One of the players on the Green Arrow Team grabbed the basketball and hurled it towards Liu Minghui’s head.

Suddenly, Liu Minghui’s nose bled profusely!

Liu Minghui let out a low growl but didn’t cry out in pain; he continued to participate in the game.

Just as the referee was about to stop the game, several members of the Green Arrow Team began making eye contact with each other.

”Bang!”

Another elbow strike and a teammate from the Real Madrid Team was knocked to the ground, in such pain that he couldn’t catch his breath for a long time.

It appeared that this group wasn’t focused on playing basketball but on hitting people instead!

”Hey! How can you hit people like that!”

From the stands, Huahua sprang to her feet and pointed down at the game, expressing her dissatisfaction.

Within just a few brief encounters, several members of the Real Madrid Team had been deliberately injured by their opponents.

Yet the referee still did nothing about it.

”They’re not playing basketball; they’re clearly hitting people!” Fuming, Huahua rushed down the stands, ready to confront the referee, but she was held back by Nangong Bing who grabbed her.

”This is part of the game,” Nangong Bing said calmly.

”But, but they shouldn’t be hitting people even if it is a game!”

”Yes, yes, that big, dark-skinned guy even got his nose bleeding. If this continues, the Real Madrid Team will suffer,” Liu Tangtang and the others had already noticed.

”Injuring people in a game is quite normal; it depends on how they handle it,” Nangong Bing replied, her beautiful face still devoid of any emotion.

By then, everyone knew the Green Arrow Team was intentionally tormenting Real Madrid, but who could prove they were deliberately injuring players?

Mistakes on the court are normal, and physical clashes are inevitable.

”But if this continues, could Uncle be hurt by them?” Liu Tangtang was quite concerned about Lin Zifeng’s safety.

At that moment on the court, Lin Zifeng had snatched the basketball thrown by Liu Minghui and was ready to dunk it into the opponent’s basket when he was surrounded by three Green Arrow Team members.

The three men clawed around Lin Zifeng, trapping him tightly in the middle, making it impossible for him to break free.

Meanwhile, everyone else on the court was either clutching their noses and squatting motionlessly on the ground or clutching their stomachs and feigning pain.

Only Liu Minghui was held immobile, sandwiched between two opponents.

Then, the three members surrounding Lin Zifeng exchanged glances, grinned, and advanced to attack him.

Although it was supposed to be about stealing the ball, it was essentially a slap in the face, and for these skilled basketball players, injuring someone on the court could go virtually unnoticed, and even if noticed, they could easily claim it was a mistake.

Even if Lin Zifeng had managed to grab the ball, what could he do if someone slapped him across the face?

Just as the three were about to strike Lin Zifeng’s face, he grinned, winked at one of his opponents,

and hurled the basketball forward, infusing it with Vital Energy so it became as heavy as metal. Thinking Lin Zifeng had given up the ball, the opponent was about to happily catch it when the seemingly light basketball turned into a heavy metal ball!

When caught, it made the opponent’s chest feel tight, knocking him back several steps and allowing the ball to be snatched up by Lin Zifeng once again.
