Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 535: Chapter 528: The White-Eyed Onmyoji (Second Update)

”Swoosh—thud!”

The bullet viciously pierced through the man’s skull, spattering flesh and blood everywhere. Large chunks of tissue were blown apart under the intense impact of the bullet, his entire forehead destroyed!

The man, with his eyes rolled back, pale and lifeless, collapsed powerlessly into a pool of blood.

Black Hawk quickly scrambled to his feet and scooped him up in his arms.

Looking at the young man whose half head had been blown away by the sniper rifle, Black Hawk’s hands trembled as blood leaked into his eyes. If he hadn’t pushed Black Hawk out of the way just now, Black Hawk would likely be the one lying on the ground.

”Hawk, Hawk bro, if you can make it out alive, take my ashes back to my hometown, I, I want to stay there and be with my wife...” The young man couldn’t finish his words, as his half-opened eye rolled back and he collapsed thunderously.

”Heh heh, don’t worry, I could crush a few of these little punks with just one hand,” he had boasted arrogantly.

”I’m twenty-two this year. Not so young anymore. When I make a name for myself and earn some money, I’ll go back home and marry my beautiful wife,” he had said before the battle began, his words echoing in Black Hawk’s mind.

Looking at the one with his head destroyed, Black Hawk clenched his teeth in fury, his fists clenched so tight as he realized that the entire plan had gone awry due to his own carelessness.

If only he had listened to Lin Zifeng, he wouldn’t be suffering this fate now.

”Go now!”

Bu Chen, his eyes bloodshot, quickly picked up Black Hawk and ran towards the woods while members of the Shadow Group behind them fell one by one.

After eight men rushed into the woods, Bu Chen fell into complete despair.

In front of them stood a group of Fusang ninjas, dressed all in black, their killing aura chillingly directed this way, while behind them, a large group of mercenaries opened fire.

What exactly was the Dragon Roar Association?

This was now a mystery in the minds of Black Hawk and his men, as no one knew how many secrets were hidden within this ocean-view villa.

Even before the members of the Shadow Group who did not manage to break into the villa had already lost half their number.

No wonder even the CIA was reluctant to investigate the power of the Dragon Roar Association; it seems the organization was beyond anything they could imagine.

”Once you come, you stay,” said the ninja, as a strangely effeminate youth slowly emerged from their midst. The youth wore a tall hat and a blood-red robe, which in the darkness of the woods made his pale face seem particularly eerie.

Especially his voice, which mixed a harsh, androgynous rasp, sounded as if it came from a hermaphrodite.

The youth just stood there, eyes covered, facing them.

”Onmyoji!”

Black Hawk shielded the others, recognizing their opponent at a glance!

Today, they were completely doomed—they had bumped into a Fusang Onmyoji, and it was a dead end!

”Brothers, we’ve lost today, but even if we die, let’s not stain the Shadow Group’s name. If it comes to it, we’ll fight these Fusang dogs to the end!” bellowed Black Hawk.

”Fix bayonets!”

Black Hawk took the lead, ripping off the black scarf from around his waist and gripping his war blade tightly. He wrapped the black scarf firmly around his wrist, covering his entire knife-holding fist. This was to ensure that even if his arm was slashed during battle, the war blade wouldn’t fall from his grip. As long as the blade held, they wouldn’t concede. This was a practice the Thirteen Eagles used to follow when facing stronger foes, a habit that Black Hawk had preserved and now brought to the Shadow Group.

Rustle—

The eight men quickly tore off their scarves, wrapping them around their wrists, each one ready to fight to the death with an honor in defeat.

”Break out!” Black Hawk roared and dashed with his war blade into the darkness ahead.

However, to their astonishment, when the eight men charged into the dark woods, the Fusang ninjas they had seen just moments before were nowhere to be found.

Was this all just an illusion? Or had the enemy employed a blinding technique?

At this point, everyone started to swallow nervously, their nerves becoming increasingly taut.

”Want to kill me?”

At that moment, a chilly breath came from behind everyone.

But just as Black Hawk turned around, another row of ninjas appeared in the darkness ahead, moving within it.

”Watch out! These Fusang dogs are using blinding techniques to confuse us!” Black Hawk roared.

Almost as soon as his words ended, two bloody heads were tossed into the air among the members of the Shadow Group, a mist of blood spreading and splattering across the faces of Black Hawk and the others.

As he was about to turn around, two sharp milling cutters stabbed towards Black Hawk’s neck, their vital energy-laden sword radiance continuously tearing through the resistance of the air.

”Be careful!” Bu Chen acted quickly, rushing ahead to Black Hawk’s side like a fierce dragon emerging from the sea. In an instant, his hand grasped the edge of the milling cutter!

”Looking for death!”

Black Hawk didn’t hesitate either, he vigorously swung his war blade forward.

”Pff~”

The sound of sword radiance tearing through fabric echoed, and seeing that they failed to strike suddenly, the opponent quickly retreated back into the darkness.

However, terrible screams began to rise incessantly from behind them.

In an instant, five out of the eight members of the Shadow Group were slaughtered!

The fear that the dark forest had instilled in them had vastly surpassed that of the great battle with the black mercenaries.

They couldn’t find the direction of their opponents at all, and were being killed off without any explanation, the invisible psychological pressure swallowing their defenses like a tide.

It wasn’t until three members of the Shadow Group huddled together with Black Hawk that a young Onmyoji slowly emerged from the darkness.

A pair of white pupils were emitting a strange, enchanting glow in the night; nobody knew the extent of the young Onmyoji’s capabilities or strength. Now with the enemy hidden in the darkness and themselves exposed in the light, they were completely at the mercy of their opponent!

”Damn it! Ghostly thing, if you’ve got the guts, come out and fight me one-on-one! Stop hiding in the shadows and hitting us with guerrilla tactics!” Black Hawk swung his war blade furiously several times around him, chopping down several saplings before he stopped and guarded all around vigilantly.

”Ahh—!”

”Ahh—!”

”Bang!”

At that moment, those ninjas hidden in the shadows began falling from the treetops, screaming from all around.

Everyone quickly looked up, only to see countless ninjas with steel nets in their hands falling heavily to the ground from the tree tops. The seasoned warrior Bu Chen immediately swung his war blade, chopping down the surrounding saplings into sharp points.

As the ninjas hit the ground, they were all impaled by the sharp-tipped saplings.

In less than a moment, more than ten ninjas were all pierced to death on the ground.

The white-eyed Onmyoji was also taken aback, looking up towards the treetops, only to be met with an overbearing Iron Fist to his head!

The white-eyed Onmyoji didn’t hesitate, and with no way to dodge, he too threw out a punch.

A ghastly figure plunged from the sky in an instant, and his fist slammed viciously onto the white-eyed Onmyoji’s fist!

The white-eyed Onmyoji’s legs were forced into the ground from the impact.

The grass beneath his feet cracked as he struggled to stabilize his stance, and it was then that the white-eyed Onmyoji got a clear view of his opponent.

The man facing him donned an ancient bronze mask, expressionless as he looked down upon him.

Though his face couldn’t be seen, the firmness of his jawline hinted that the man above was sneering at him.

”Die!”

The white-eyed Onmyoji’s shrill voice made one’s scalp tingle as he leaped from the ground, his legs using the ground’s elastic force to rapidly retreat backwards.

But Lin Zifeng had already locked onto him, constantly throwing overpowering punches, with the vital energy coming straight at him.
