After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1746: Chapter 1750: You Don’t Even Know How to Use the Washing Machine

”Little Fool, isn’t there a washing machine? Why wash by hand...” Leng Zirui raised his hand to wipe the foam off her face, squinting slightly, ”Don’t tell me you don’t even know how to use a washing machine?”

”You’re the one who doesn’t know how to use it!” Xu Xia glared at him, ”I just didn’t want to disturb your sleep.”

”Little Silly!” Leng Zirui was both heartbroken and helpless, ”Couldn’t you wash them later? What if my Xu Xia’s little hands get damaged?”

”I’m not that delicate.” Xu Xia raised her arms to avoid getting foam on him, ”I’ve already bought breakfast. Go wash up; I’ll be done soon, and then we can have breakfast together.”

”Having a wife is happiness—someone washing clothes and breakfast ready to eat!” Leng Zirui carried her to the faucet and helped rinse the foam off her hands, ”Alright, leave the rest to me.”

”No way, you have to finish what you start!” Xu Xia pushed him out of the laundry room, ”Now, go wash up right away, that’s an order!”

Seeing her determination, Leng Zirui had to agree, ”As you command, my dear wife!”

He turned to the room to wash up, and by the time he returned dressed, Xu Xia had already rinsed the clothes clean and helped hang them to dry. Only then did they both head to the dining room.

Xu Xia pressed him into a chair, then went into the kitchen to take out the breakfast she had kept warm in the pot and served him a bowl.

”I can’t cook, so I had to buy it outside.” Xu Xia sat opposite him, ”What do you like to eat? I’ll learn to make it for you next time!”

”No need, you don’t have to be perfect.” Leng Zirui stretched his long arm over the table to wipe a water stain off her temple, saying indulgently, ”I take care of making money; you just stay as beautiful as a flower.”

Xu Xia pretended to be angry, ”What if I get old and ugly? Then you won’t like me anymore?”

Leng Zirui raised his face from the porridge bowl and scrutinized her, ”You don’t have to worry about that; you’re already ugly now!”

Xu Xia promptly threw a bun at him, ”I’ll hit you with this!”

Catching the bun easily, Leng Zirui took a big bite, ”As expected, a bun squeezed by my wife’s little fragrant hands tastes better. Come on, throw a few more...”

”In your dreams, I’m not throwing any more!”

Xu Xia took a bun and brought it to her mouth, but just as she bit, he snatched it away.

”Leng Zirui, you’re annoying!”

”What, bite me?”

”Not interested.”

”Whose teeth almost marked my shoulder last night?”

Xu Xia threw another bun at him.

...

They bickered and ate, and by the time they finished breakfast, it was nearly one in the afternoon.

After the meal, they cleaned the table together. Xu Xia washed the dishes while Leng Zirui initially helped by handing over things but eventually came over to hug her waist from behind.

”Gentle Township of Beauty, I can’t bear to leave!”

Every time he went on a mission, he never felt this way, but this time he truly couldn’t bear it.

Xu Xia glanced at the waterproof watch on his wrist, knowing that the time to part was near, feeling reluctant in her heart, yet intentionally said, ”Don’t you just love the turbulent waves, plenty of devilish figures abroad, that’s the true gentle township!”

He hugged her tighter and buried his face in her hair, murmuring softly, ”True, hearing this makes me really eager to leave.”

...

...

Good afternoon.
