After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1725: Chapter 1729: Xu Xia, You Really Are a Pig

Stepping into the bathroom, Leng Zirui soaked a towel in hot water and carefully helped her wipe her face, then turned off the small bedside lamp and exited the bedroom.

The Xu Xia on the pillow was completely unaware.

With injuries on his body, Leng Zirui couldn’t shower, so he cleaned himself in the bathroom before returning to lie down beside her.

Time slipped by.

In the middle of the night, Xu Xia awoke from her dreams.

She opened her eyes, gazing at the dim hotel ceiling, blinking in bewilderment, feeling somewhat confused.

She distinctly remembered leaving the bar with Leng Zirui, then... then she couldn’t recall anything.

Damn, she must have fallen asleep by accident!

Thinking of Leng Zirui, Xu Xia felt a jolt; she had agreed with him yesterday, yet she ended up sleeping. He must be very disappointed, right?!

”Xu Xia, you’re such a pig!”

Cursing herself quietly, Xu Xia reached for the blanket to get up, but as soon as her fingers touched the blanket, she noticed a hand resting on it, embracing her.

That hand had very long fingers, appearing slender, with nails trimmed neatly and beautifully, and there were several small scars on the back of the hand.

Xu Xia shifted her gaze, following the hand, her eyes moving inch by inch, past the long arm and landing on the pillow beside her.

Leng Zirui was lying on the pillow, eyes closed, seemingly not disturbed by her.

The thin blanket covered only to the middle of his back, showing the bandages wrapped around his exposed wounds.

Besides the scars hidden under the bandages, his back bore numerous large and small wounds, yet it didn’t appear menacing. Coupled with his toned back muscles, it instead exuded a wild and untamed kind of sexiness.

Because of the injuries on his back, he could only sleep on his stomach.

His face was turned towards her, his beautiful lips pressed into a straight line, a face so flawlessly beautiful from forehead to chin.

Xu Xia pursed her lips, reaching out to touch him.

Halfway, she pulled her hand back.

Gently moving his arm that was wrapped around her, she slipped out of bed barefoot, walked to the wardrobe, carefully opened the door, and browsed through the pajamas she had brought, frowning.

Typically, she always preferred comfortable clothing, and the pajamas she brought this time were all loose-fitting comfort styles.

Damn it, these clothes are too covered up!

Frowning in frustration, she stared at the wardrobe for a while, then her eyes lit up upon seeing a loose T-shirt hanging in a corner, immediately taking it out and closing the door, tiptoeing into the bathroom.

Turning on the faucet, she diligently washed herself from head to toe, brushed her teeth multiple times, washed her face twice...

Standing in front of the mirror, wearing only a loose T-shirt, Xu Xia looked at the two pieces of different styled lingerie in her hand, falling into another dilemma.

What kind of lingerie does he like girls to wear?

Silk, or lace?!

Does he prefer the feel of taking it off himself or the convenience of not having to?!

After much hesitation, Xu Xia finally opted for the white cotton one.

Raising her face to look at herself in the mirror, she still felt dissatisfied.

Staying up late these days has given her slight dark circles, it’s so ugly!

Should she put on some makeup?!

Taking the makeup bag from the rack, she hesitated once more.

Wearing makeup in bed, does it seem too much?!
