After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1727: Chapter 1731: You Haven’t Proposed to Me Yet, Have You?

”Do you know what this finger means?!”

”Of course, it’s for engagement, isn’t it?”

”But...” Xu Xia pressed her lips together, ”You haven’t proposed to me yet, right?”

”Didn’t you already agree?!” Leng Zirui countered.

”I agreed?” Xu Xia sat up straight, looking at his face in bewilderment, ”But why don’t I remember you proposing to me?!”

Leng Zirui curled his lips, ”On the ship, you yourself said you were willing to marry me and wanted to give me children, didn’t you forget?!”

”That doesn’t count.”

”So you’re not willing to marry me?”

”What I meant was...”

”Are you or aren’t you willing to marry me?”

”I...”

”Are you willing or not?!”

”I am willing, but...”

Leng Zirui chuckled softly, ”Good, you agreed!”

”You...” Xu Xia realized she fell for his trick again, feeling annoyed she turned around, lay back on the pillow, and pulled the quilt over her face, ”I won’t talk to you anymore!”

Sitting beside the bed, he reached out his palm, pulling both the quilt and her up to sit, and uncovered the quilt from her face, ”Alright, I won’t tease you anymore, this isn’t a proposal ring, I just happened to see it and thought it looked beautiful and matched your bracelet, so I bought it back. How could such an ordinary ring be the proposal ring of me, Leng Zirui!”

Xu Xia looked at his face, ”Actually, it doesn’t matter what kind of ring... I don’t need it to be so grand, I just... haven’t had anyone propose to me, and wanted to experience it.”

As long as it’s from him, even if it’s just a ring bought for a dollar at a street stall, or a rose that’s about to wilt, she wouldn’t mind.

All she wanted was just a bit of sincerity from him.

”I’m really not lying to you, look!” Leng Zirui took a receipt from the box where the ring was, ”This is for the ring I ordered for you, originally planning to propose during your concert, but the seller said it would take at least two weeks to get it, so I have to wait. You... giving you a surprise is really hard!”

”I...” Xu Xia didn’t know what to say, ”Sorry, Zirui, you don’t have to go to such trouble... I agree, I am willing!”

For his proposal, he specially ordered a ring, which was enough to prove his sincerity, and she mistakenly thought he truly wasn’t going to propose to her!

”Little Silly!” Leng Zirui affectionately rubbed her hair, ”Don’t worry, I’ll give you a one-of-a-kind proposal in the world, just be good and wait for it.”

He promised that he wouldn’t let her envy Luo Xiaoqian anymore because what he will give her wouldn’t be any less than what his brother Leng Zimo gave Luo Xiaoqian.

Leng Zirui always did what he said.

Looking at his affectionate gaze, Xu Xia raised the corners of her lips, smiled, and agreed, ”Alright!”

”Then...” Leng Zirui lifted his hand to gently pinch her chin, ”Isn’t it time to fulfill the promise you made before?”

Her heart skipped a beat, her face instantly flushing bright red.

”What promise?!” She lowered her eyes, pretending to be confused.

”Don’t play dumb!” Leng Zirui lifted her chin, raising her face, ”Would you like to be my woman?”

Xu Xia bit her lip and nodded lightly.

”Say it, yes or no!” Leng Zirui insisted on asking.

Her face was flushed as if blood was about to drip, ”Yes, yes, I want you, is that alright!”
