After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1726: Chapter 1730: You Must Need to Use the Bathroom, Right?

That guy could tell with one look that she was deliberately trying to please him and would definitely make fun of her.

No way, can’t lose face.

But why is she so ugly? Why does she feel she’s not as good-looking as him?!

Ah!

Xu Xia frustratingly grabbed her hair, and her wet hair was immediately turned into a mess.

Looking at the messy hair in the mirror, she quickly took out a comb and carefully groomed her hair back into place.

”I heard some men don’t like women with wet hair, thinking they look messy. Should I blow-dry it?!”

Once again, she was caught in a dilemma.

If she blow-dries it, she’d have to use a hairdryer, and would that wake him up?

No, she must blow-dry it; otherwise, he’d see through her immediately.

Taking a bath in the middle of the night, it’s obvious she’s trying to seduce him!

Xu Xia felt like she was going crazy.

”Bastard Leng Zirui, what kind of man are you? Saying something like ’Tonight, I want you,’ why the hell would you notify me in advance about it?! Do you have to make a reservation for something like that?!”

Once again, she ruffled her hair.

Then, gritted her teeth.

”Forget it, this is who I am, do as you please!”

Grinding her teeth, she yanked open the bathroom door.

Outside, a tall figure was standing.

Leng Zirui was casually wrapped in a towel, just standing outside the door.

”Leng Zirui?!” Xu Xia was startled and stuttered for a moment before saying, ”You... you... you’re surely here to use the bathroom, right?”

”Slippers!”

Leng Zirui lowered himself and placed the slippers he was holding at her feet.

”Ah... thank you!” Xu Xia thanked him, slipping her feet into the slippers. She nervously avoided looking at him, afraid he might see through her thoughts. ”Well... you... you go use the bathroom, I’ll... I’ll go to sleep now!”

For such things, it’s strange for a girl to be the one making the move; he’d definitely think she’s a loose woman.

”Okay!”

Leng Zirui stepped back, making way for her to exit.

Xu Xia stepped out of the bathroom, walking past him. She watched him enter the bathroom and let out a sigh of relief, then felt disappointed again.

So, he really was just there to use the bathroom!

He didn’t even take a good look at her.

Her mood suddenly plummeted, and Xu Xia frowned as she walked to the bed, lifted the covers on one side, and lay her head on the pillow. Looking at the small bedside lamp, she felt strange inside.

Hearing the bathroom door open, she quickly closed her eyes, continuing to pretend to be asleep.

The sound of footsteps approached; he was coming toward her.

Xu Xia became nervous once again. Was he going to...

Snap!

A light sound, seemingly opening a drawer.

Turns out, she was overthinking it; he just wanted to get something.

Xu Xia felt disappointed once more.

Just then, her finger was suddenly held by a warm hand, and then something cool was slipped onto her finger.

It was her left hand, middle finger.

Xu Xia opened her eyes in confusion, and in the faint light of the small lamp, his face was right in front of her.

Looking at her, Leng Zirui’s smile was charming.

”I thought you were really waiting for me to kiss you awake?!”

”What are you doing?!” Xu Xia questioned as she raised her left hand, noticing a ring on her left middle finger. It was a silver ring, adorned with colorful gemstones, quite similar to her bracelet, ”What is this?!”

”Rainbow Ring,” Leng Zirui said indulgently. ”It’s from the same company as your bracelet. It hasn’t officially been released yet; this is just a concept model. Do you like it?!”

Xu Xia looked at the ring on her hand, nodded, and then doubtfully glanced at him.
