After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1584: Chapter 1588: There Are Still No Marks on You

The curtain rustled slightly behind her. Xu Xia turned her face in surprise and saw Leng Zirui jumping in through the window. She immediately greeted him with a face full of delight, ”You’re back!”

Though she had complaints, she was more worried in her heart.

Now seeing him return safely, that little grudge in her heart had long been thrown to the winds.

Outside the window earlier, he had already collected her whispers in his ears. Seeing the vibrant surprise in her eyes, Leng Zirui felt a sense of guilt.

Reaching out, he pulled her into his embrace.

”From now on, I’ll try to worry you less!”

It was such a sudden and out-of-the-blue statement that Xu Xia was taken aback and forgot to struggle for a moment.

Gurgle!

Xu Xia’s stomach, hungry for half a day, protested embarrassingly out loud.

Leng Zirui laughed and released her waist, ”Hungry, right? Come on, let’s go eat!”

”Was your task successful?!” Xu Xia asked with concern.

”Pretty smooth.” Leng Zirui gently patted her little cheek. ”Thanks to your cover this time, now we’re heading to the banquet site.”

Able to help him with something, Xu Xia’s heart was just sweetly content. She immediately nodded and said, ”Alright, alright, I’m starving. If you didn’t come back soon, I’d have fainted from hunger!”

She put away her phone and handbag and walked towards the door. Leng Zirui, however, had already stretched out his hand to hold her arm, carefully tidying her hair and clothes, ”Give me your lipstick!”

”Why?” Xu Xia asked in confusion, taking out the lipstick and handing it to him.

He lifted her chin and carefully applied it to her lips, ”Kiss me!”

”In your dreams!” Xu Xia pouted.

”Be serious, will you!” Leng Zirui said with a stern face, ”This is a requirement of the task. We just got intimate, and if there’s no evidence at all, wouldn’t it seem fake?!”

Seeing his serious expression, Xu Xia naturally didn’t suspect anything. She looked at his face, pursed her lips, and leaned over to lightly kiss his neck.

”Please, do it harder. The lipstick mark needs to be obvious!” Leng Zirui ”righteously” reminded her.

Holding onto his shoulder, Xu Xia leaned in closer again, kissing his skin, his breath entering her nostrils. Holding his shoulder, Xu Xia moved her lips and kissed his collarbone...

Leaving several lipstick marks on his neck, she only then lifted her face up.

”Now, is it okay?!”

”No!” Leng Zirui lifted his hand to hold her face, ”There’s no mark on you yet!”

Then, his lips leaned over, dominantly kissing hers.

Initially, he just wanted to joke around with her, but her closeness had already made it hard for him to control himself.

Her breath was instantly taken away by him. Xu Xia only felt her heart race several times faster, and fireworks exploded in her mind. When she was making the lipstick mark for him earlier, she had been lost in all sorts of fantasies, barely managing to conceal them.

Now being kissed by him like this, she had no power to refuse.

Until she almost couldn’t breathe, Leng Zirui finally let go of her lips. He didn’t stop there, though. He lowered his face and planted several kisses on her delicate neck, leaving several hickeys, finally suppressing the urge to have his way with her on the spot, and stopped, panting.

”Now, we can go!”

Hearing his voice, Xu Xia suddenly came back to her senses. She snatched back her lipstick from his hand and turned to rush into the bathroom.

”You messed up my hair, I... I’ll go touch up my makeup!”

Closing the bathroom door, Xu Xia lifted her hand to cup some cold water, washing her face vigorously.
