After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1581: Chapter 1585: Saying Goodbye to Grandpa

Leng Lin lifted his face to look at Leng Zimo, who had been silent by the bed, ”Having Xiao Zhao here to take care of me is enough. You take Xiao Qian and Mo Mo to have lunch, then take them back to rest well. You don’t need to worry about me here.”

”Okay.”

Leng Zimo agreed, bent down to hold Luo Jun’s little hand, and wrapped his other arm around Luo Xiaoqian’s waist, leading the mother and son towards the ward door.

”Zimo!”

Luo Xiaoqian held onto his arm, wanting to persuade him to stay and take care of Leng Lin, but Leng Zimo just kept his arm around her waist and walked firmly towards the door.

Seeing the determination on his face, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t persuade further, but turned her face to remind, ”Then you rest well, call me anytime if anything happens. Mo Mo, say goodbye to Grandpa!”

Luo Jun waved his little hand at Leng Lin, ”Goodbye Grandpa!”

”Goodbye!” Leng Lin smiled and waved his hand at him.

The three of them walked out the door, and as the ward door closed tightly behind them, the smile on Leng Lin’s face gradually faded.

It seems that his eldest son is still unwilling to forgive him!

”Zimo!” Luo Xiaoqian stopped outside the hospital building, ”About Dad...”

”I’ll first take you both to eat, then bring back some of his favorite food,” Leng Zimo explained.

Only then did Luo Xiaoqian’s expression relax, ”Okay!”

They hurried to a restaurant near the hospital. Leng Zimo ordered the favorite dishes for the mother and son, and asked the restaurant to prepare two servings of dumplings to take away. He ate a few bites of rice casually, and as soon as the dumplings were packed on the table, he immediately stood up from his seat.

”Ah Jiu, Cheang Xiao, take care of Xiao Qian and Mo Mo. After they finish eating, head straight back to the farm. I’m going to the hospital.”

The two stood up together and saw him off at the door, and Ah Jiu handed the packed meal to the bodyguard Xiao Jie, ”Let Xiao Jie go with you, in case something happens.”

Leng Zimo nodded lightly and said goodbye to Luo Xiaoqian and Luo Jun, then immediately returned to the hospital with Xiao Jie.

In the ward.

Leng Lin slightly raised his face, watching the drops of liquid fall one by one from the infusion bottle.

”General, what do you want to eat?” The orderly Xiao Zhao asked softly.

Leng Lin shook his head gently, ”You go and eat something nearby, don’t worry about me.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the door was pushed open, and Leng Lin glanced sideways to see Leng Zimo coming in with a paper bag.

Putting the paper bag on the table, Leng Zimo casually took out a lunch box and handed it to Xiao Zhao, ”Find a place to eat, I’ll stay here.”

”Thank you, Mr. Leng.”

Xiao Zhao thanked him, took the lunch box, and went out, leaving the ward to the father and son.

Leng Zimo opened the lid of the lunch box, carefully took a few dumplings from inside, and placed them in a small bowl, holding it in front of Leng Lin.

Leng Lin looked at the dumplings in the bowl, ”Just leave it there, I’m not hungry now!”

In fact, he was indeed a bit hungry.

However, with his strong-willed personality over the years, even in front of his own son, Leng Lin was unwilling to show any weakness.

Having said he wasn’t hungry earlier, how could he eat now?!

Giving him a glance, Leng Zimo picked up a dumpling with chopsticks and brought it to his lips, ”Radish and lamb, not sure how the filling is, try it!”

It’s often said that nobody understands a child better than a parent, and vice versa.

For so many years, neither father nor son would give in to the other; Leng Zimo’s understanding of his father was naturally not inferior to Leng Lin’s understanding of him.
