After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1562: Chapter 1566: Any Thinner and You’ll Be Skin and Bones

When Leng Zirui walked out of the door again, it was already dusk. An entire afternoon had slipped away unnoticed in his busyness.

He hurried down the stairs, rushed to the cafeteria, fetched two meals, and quickly returned to the dormitory.

When he’s busy, time just slips away, the girl has been ignored all afternoon. She must be sulking there with an empty stomach, right now?!

Leng Zirui hurried back to the dorm, pushed the door open, and didn’t see Xu Xia around. There was a faint noise on the balcony connected to the bedroom, so he quietly walked over.

He saw Xu Xia leaning on the railing of the terrace, using a baseball bat to hit the quilt hanging on the line.

”Stupid Leng Zirui, big jerk, I’ll hit, I’ll hit, I’ll hit... see if you dare to threaten me again, saying you’ll kiss me every time I’m disobedient... I’m only giving you leeway because you helped me with medicine, do you really think I’m scared of you... saying you’re better at pampering women than Leng Zimo, you’re just bragging, Leng Zimo would never let Luo Xiaoqian go hungry... jerk, jerk, stupid jerk...”

Xu Xia was venting her anger but had no idea that Leng Zirui had heard everything.

After tossing the baseball bat aside, Xu Xia tiptoed to fold the quilt properly. Leng Zirui quickly hid himself, and Xu Xia had no idea he was back. She just took the quilt back and placed it on the bed.

Seeing his quilt was a bit damp, she took it to dry.

However, while drying a quilt is easy, folding it into a neat block is hard.

She struggled at the bedside for a few minutes but couldn’t get the knack of it. Instead, she got herself all sweaty.

”Why bother folding it? Just spread it out on the bed, who made up these annoying rules anyway?!”

Leng Zirui shrugged his shoulders in the small lounge, carefully retreated to the door, then deliberately opened and closed it loudly, pretending he just came back, ”Dear, it’s time to eat!”

”I have a name,” Xu Xia glared at him without good humor.

”What happened to my quilt?” Leng Zirui placed the lunch boxes on the table and walked into the room, pretending not to know.

”I took a nap, is that not okay?” Xu Xia retorted.

Secretly laughing in his heart, Leng Zirui didn’t expose her. Instead, he reached over, picked her up, and walked to the small lounge outside, placing her on a chair by the table, ”You must be tired from sleeping, go ahead and eat!”

Xu Xia didn’t stand on ceremony, immediately opened the lunch box and started eating. She finished two chicken legs before looking up, ”Does your unit have good welfare? So much meat, and two chicken legs each...”

Halfway through her words, she froze.

In front of him, there weren’t any chicken bones, and his lunch box only had vegetables.

This guy not only gave her both meals’ chicken legs but all the meat dishes too!

Leng Zirui forked a piece of vegetable into his mouth, ”Why aren’t you eating, not to your taste?! This is all the unit provides, just fill your stomach for now, I’ll take you to the city later to eat whatever you want.”

Xu Xia pushed her lunch box to him, ”I want to eat vegetarian!”

Leng Zirui glanced at her face knowingly. He had eaten with her and knew she loved meat, always unable to do without it.

”Aren’t you someone who can’t live without meat?”

”I’m dieting recently, okay?”

”You’re already as thin as a rake, lose any more and you’ll be skin and bones.”

Xu Xia was so angry she almost slammed the spoon down, ”I just want to eat vinegar!”

Originally, she meant to say vegetarian, but she spoke too fast in her anger and ended up saying vinegar.
