After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1450: Chapter 1454: I Shouldn’t Have Shown Mercy Five Years Ago

Luo Xiaoqian and Seo Fei’s points both made sense, and with Xie Tianle stating his position, the shareholders were divided into two factions: one in favor and one against.

For a moment, there was no consensus.

”Ahem!” Luo Xiaoqian lightly coughed, ”If everyone is worried about the risk of a funding chain break, I can assure you that this will absolutely not happen. Yes, our goal is profit, but the revenue from a single movie isn’t the most important thing. If ’The Lord of the Rings 2’ succeeds, we can make ’The Lord of the Rings 3,’ ’The Lord of the Rings 4’... just like the Hollywood model, which will bring greater returns to the company. I hope everyone can take a long-term view. After all, what we want is a sustainably developing Emperor View. I personally believe this investment is very worthwhile. Now, please vote; those in favor of additional investment, please raise your hands!”

The supporting shareholders successively raised their right hands, one, two, three, four... a total of six people raised their hands.

The board originally had eleven members, and with Seo Fei, the number became twelve, resulting in a tie with six votes to six.

According to the board’s regulations, in such a situation, the decision-making power is handed over to the president.

”My decision is to increase the investment!” Luo Xiaoqian glanced around at everyone, ”Does anyone have any other matters? If not, this meeting is adjourned.”

Everyone stood up, and several directors came over to shake hands with Luo Xiaoqian.

In today’s board meeting, Luo Xiaoqian’s performance was commendable, vaguely showing the demeanor of Leng Zimo, which gained her the confidence of most shareholders.

”President Luo!” Seo Fei straightened up with a faint smile, ”I hope you won’t regret this decision.”

Luo Xiaoqian turned her face to look at her, ”The thing I regret most in this life is softening five years ago; as for other matters, I never regret.”

Seo Fei stood up nonchalantly and turned to walk out of the meeting room.

Luo Xiaoqian glanced at her back, her gaze resting on her sharp high heels, and she frowned slightly.

A pregnant woman wearing such shoes, painting her nails and wearing makeup, it seemed she truly didn’t care about the child.

Upon returning to Leng Zimo’s office, Luo Xiaoqian immediately called Mina in. ”What’s going on with Xie Tianle?”

”Director Xie?” Mina frowned slightly, ”Because at the end of last year, he proposed a large collaboration plan that President Leng rejected, making things very tense between them afterward.”

So that’s it. No wonder Xie Tianle was so combative towards her at the board meeting today.

”How much equity does Xie Tianle hold?” Luo Xiaoqian asked again.

”15%. Besides you and Seo Fei, Director Zhou is the largest shareholder of Emperor View.”

”Then, how much equity do Qin Lan and Zirui hold?” Luo Xiaoqian asked again.

”Mr. Qin and Mr. Leng each hold 6% and 4% of Emperor View’s equity, respectively.”

Luo Xiaoqian gently waved her hand, ”I understand. You can go out now. If there’s anything, I’ll call you.”

Mina exited the office, and Luo Xiaoqian immediately ordered Ah Jiu, ”Have someone keep an eye on things. I worry Seo Fei will contact Xie Tianle!”

Ah Jiu promptly agreed and made a call to arrange it.

Seo Fei was clearly here for Emperor View. This time, she didn’t succeed. With her personality, she definitely won’t just let it go.

Luo Xiaoqian knew that Seo Fei had acquired Tang Ming’s inheritance, plus the funds she inherited from the Seo Family. Now she has enough money to compete with her. If Seo Fei and Xie Tianle join forces, her situation will become very disadvantageous. To protect Leng Zimo’s Emperor View, she must be extremely careful.
