After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1410: Chapter 1414: Who Is This Person

Vice President Li naturally dared not defy Leng Zirui’s orders in the slightest.

A sudden power outage during surgery is a significant medical accident for anyone, let alone for someone like Leng Zimo undergoing surgery.

Vice President Li was well aware of Leng Zimo’s identity, and upon hearing that Leng Zimo’s surgery was successfully completed, he finally felt his heart return to its place. If something had gone wrong with this person, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

”Alright, alright, I’ll take you there now. We must get to the bottom of this incident in our hospital.” Vice President Li hurriedly expressed his stance, his tone extremely sincere and laced with a hint of self-reproach. ”I’ve just called Director Zhang, and he’s abroad right now. He’ll be back first thing tomorrow morning!”

Tong Ya, upon hearing that the surgery went well, also breathed a sigh of relief. Knowing it was not the right time to disturb Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian, she immediately said, ”Zirui, you go ahead, I’ll go check on Yizhou.”

”Okay, Sister Tongya, be careful.” Leng Zirui instructed her before immediately following Vice President Li towards the control room.

Upon arriving at the control room, he immediately ordered the staff to retrieve the video footage from near the power switch room and began to scrutinize it.

The hospital’s monitoring system had an emergency power reserve, so the power outage did not affect its operation. The video footage clearly captured the scenes before and after the power outage.

At 9 o’clock, a man dressed in a janitor’s uniform and wearing a mask took out a key and opened the main power room door, then went inside. Ten minutes later, the power went out, and then the janitor came out, still holding a broom or something similar. Leng Zirui immediately retrieved footage from other cameras, continuing to follow his figure.

The janitor, while walking, was cleaning, and noticed a piece of paper someone had casually thrown on the ground, promptly sweeping it up, appearing quite diligent.

”Who is this person?!” Leng Zirui asked.

”I’ll call the logistics department right away.” Vice President Li hurriedly took out his phone to call the head of the logistics department. A moment later, he put his phone away. ”The person on duty today is named Li Fu, an employee in the logistics department, and he’s been working in our hospital for many years.”

”This person doesn’t seem to be Uncle Li!” A staff member in the control room came over, looking at the video footage. ”Uncle Li doesn’t look that tall, and he has a bit of a limp.”

”Find Li Fu at once!” Leng Zirui stood up from his chair. ”Make a complete backup of all this footage for me!”

He was very clear that the person on the screen was definitely not Li Fu.

Although the picture was small, it was still clear enough to see that the person was wearing shoes that resembled military boots. Cleaning work requires a lot of walking, and no one would wear such shoes to a hospital to sweep in the hot weather.

Vice President Li waved his hand, and a young staff member immediately ran out the door to look for Li Fu.

Soon, the data was fully backed up. When a staff member delivered the data to Leng Zirui’s hands, the person who had left earlier ran back, ”I just went to the logistics department, and Sister Zhang from logistics said that this morning, Li Fu didn’t come at all!”

Leng Zirui’s eyebrows slightly raised, a sense of foreboding rising in his heart, ”Get me Li Fu’s home address immediately!”
