Chapter 242: Chapter 242: Framed (Fourth Update, Asking for Recommendation Votes!)

The Ye Corporation was embroiled in busyness due to the recent resort tendering conference, and sales, as the most crucial department, was naturally hectic.

However, Xiao Yifeng was clueless about these matters, so he had nothing to do, and with even Fang Siqi busy working, he didn’t even have anyone to chat with, which was utterly boring.

In a certain area on the third floor of the Ye Corporation building, Dahu and Erhu were patrolling the hallways, scanning the surroundings.

”Big brother, why did the manager suddenly assign us to patrol here? What’s there to patrol?” Erhu asked puzzledly.

”As long as it’s ordered by the manager, all we have to do is follow through without overthinking,”

Dahu said.

”Ah! Help!”

Suddenly, a woman’s cry for help from up ahead changed Dahu and Erhu’s expressions.

”Big brother, it sounds like someone is asking for help!” Erhu said.

”It’s coming from the restroom, let’s go!” Dahu spoke, and they both ran toward the source of the cries, which came from the women’s restroom.

Dahu and Erhu, without a second thought, rushed in and saw a young woman lying on the floor of the restroom with her clothes torn and in disarray.

”Miss, what’s wrong? What happened?”

Dahu and Erhu quickly approached, crouched down, and asked the woman.

”Can you help me up?”

The woman looked frailly at Dahu and Erhu.

”Sure!”

Without hesitation, Dahu and Erhu said, reaching out to help the woman get up.

”Ah! Indecency! Indecency!”

Suddenly, the woman, holding onto their hands, shrieked, which completely bewildered Dahu and Erhu, leaving them unable to react for a moment.

”What happened?”

Just then, a male employee from the company rushed in.

”Quick, save me, these two were about to assault me, they even tore my clothes,”

the woman said with a face filled with fear.

”I...” Dahu and Erhu didn’t know how to respond.

”Wow, you two security guards dared to assault a female staff member in the restroom. You’ve really got some nerve,” the male employee said, his eyes flashing with a triumphant look as he pointed at Dahu and Erhu.

Soon enough, the incident spread like wildfire throughout the whole Ye Corporation; two security guards had allegedly assaulted a female employee in the women’s restroom and even ripped her clothes.

This left many female employees at the Ye Corporation shocked, unable to believe there could be such shameless individuals, and that they were part of Ye Corporation’s security team.

It was simply too unbelievable, and their hearts filled with disdain and anger toward Dahu and Erhu.

In no time, the whole Ye Corporation was buzzing about the incident, as it was the first occurrence of its kind at the company.

And considering the deplorable nature of the incident, it naturally attracted everyone’s attention.

Most were berating Dahu and Erhu, demanding that the company fire these two.

Even Ye Yaxin was alerted eventually, and when she heard that the two men Xiao Yifeng had recommended had committed such a vile act, she was stunned and clearly shocked as well.

”Is it true?” Ye Yaxin asked her secretary, Su Yan.

”It should be true. The female staff member said so herself, and a male employee witnessed it. They are both at the security department now, demanding the dismissal of those two,”

”Currently, the entire company’s staff is discussing this matter, and if the president doesn’t handle it properly, it could impact the company’s image.”

”It can also cause unrest among female employees, so I suggest you go there personally.”

Su Yan said in a deep voice.

”Let’s go and inform Xiao Yifeng on the way. Those two are his people.”

Ye Yaxin said with a cold expression.

”How is that possible?”

When Xiao Yifeng learned that Dahu and Erhu had been accused of molesting female employees in the women’s restroom, he was completely incredulous. He knew well the character of Dahu and Erhu, and it was absolutely impossible for them to commit such an act.

”Hmph, I want to see who dares to frame my brothers.”

Xiao Yifeng snorted coldly, a trace of chill flashing in his eyes. He was sure, even without asking Dahu and Erhu, that someone was deliberately framing them.

At the Ye Corporation’s security department, a large group of people had gathered at this moment, all of them employees of Ye Family.

One by one, they looked at Dahu and Erhu with angry glances, many of the female employees displaying faces full of contempt and disgust.

Dahu and Erhu hung their heads, their faces full of helplessness. The female employee who had accused them of molestation was wrapped in a coat, crying her heart out, while that male colleague stood beside her.

”You two are really something, just joined the company not long ago, and you have done something so filthy and despicable. Do you realize you’re committing a crime?”

Wang Meng looked at Dahu and Erhu with a cold face, the corners of his mouth revealing a cold sneer.

”Manager, this matter really has nothing to do with us; we did not molest her at all,”

Dahu quickly said.

”Hmph, now that we have the victim and witnesses, you two still want to deny it!” Wang Meng snorted coldly.

”Manager, such shameless scum should be fired, and also sent to the police station,”

One employee said indignantly, while the rest of the crowd unanimously called for the two to be fired and sent to the police for severe punishment.

At this moment, Dahu and Erhu’s faces looked extremely embarrassed, yet they didn’t know how to defend themselves.

”The President is here!”

Suddenly, a shocked voice rang out, and everyone looked up to see Ye Yaxin walking over with a cold expression. They stopped shouting.

”President!”

Wang Meng greeted Ye Yaxin with a bow.

”Wang Meng, what exactly happened here?”

Ye Yaxin’s cool gaze swept over Dahu and Erhu and the crying female employee before finally resting on Wang Meng.

Wang Meng recounted the details of the incident, turning his gaze towards the female employee:

”President, this is the victim Yu Li, an employee from our operations department, and this man beside her is the employee who witnessed these two men assaulting Yu Li.”

”President, you must stand up for me, my innocence was almost ruined by these two, wuuu...”

The woman named Yu Li looked at Ye Yaxin, crying pitifully and making a scene as if she were an insulted lady of good family, her sobs so tragic they involuntarily evoked deep sympathy.

Even Ye Yaxin’s gaze held a hint of suspicion as she looked at Dahu and Erhu, wondering if these two seemingly honest men really committed such vile and shameless acts.

”President, we have been wronged!”

Dahu and Erhu quickly spoke to Ye Yaxin.

”You two bastards, my clothes were torn by you, and yet you claim to be wronged, you two are simply beasts!”

Yu Li pointed at Dahu and Erhu, yelling with a face full of tragic indignation.

Yu Li’s devastated appearance made those present all the more convinced of the accusations, and their hatred for Dahu and Erhu intensified.
