Chapter 212: Chapter 212 Evil Qi Leakage

”What’s going on?” Xiao Yifeng looked stunned.

”Brother-in-law, you have to see this!” Ye Yashi ran to Xiao Yifeng’s side and took out a cell phone to show him a video.

The video was of the situation inside Tianhai University, where a group of students were seen attacking others with eyes glowing with black light, looking as though they had gone mad. There were also many police and soldiers at the scene.

”What’s this video about?” Xiao Yifeng frowned and a trace of unusual light flashed through his eyes.

”A good friend of mine filmed this when she went to the university today. She said that the people in the school seemed to be possessed, attacking others like crazy, causing many to get injured.”

”Later, the police arrived and told them, students who had just arrived, to leave immediately, then they sealed off the whole school.”

”The school authorities also told us to not go to school for the time being. Brother-in-law, what do you think has happened to them? Could they be in danger?”

Worry was written all over Ye Yashi’s face.

”Stay at home for now, I’m going to make a trip to Tianhai University.”

After saying that, Xiao Yifeng quickly left the house and drove towards Tianhai University.

The appearance of those students in the video was as if they were being controlled by Evil Qi, which made Xiao Yifeng think of the abandoned building at Tianhai University engulfed in endless Evil Qi.

But wasn’t that building sealed? That Evil Qi shouldn’t be able to leave the building, so what was going on?

As Xiao Yifeng contemplated, he arrived at Tianhai University, only to find the entire area within dozens of meters around the school sealed off. No one was allowed near it, and there were also many soldiers standing guard.

Xiao Yifeng’s eyes shimmered with a blue light, and his penetrative vision activated as he scanned the area, his expression changing instantly.

Under Xiao Yifeng’s penetrative vision, he could clearly see the rich Evil Qi filling the entirety of Tianhai University.

The students and teachers remaining in the school were emitting Evil Qi from their bodies, their eyes flashing with a crazed and bloodthirsty glow, obviously controlled by the Evil Qi inside them.

Then Xiao Yifeng saw a group of soldiers dressed in green military uniforms, exuding an aura of iron-blooded determination, different from ordinary soldiers. They bore no military ranks on their clothes, just the insignia of a bayonet.

And each one was a martial artist, at least at the late stage of Ming strength. Among them were a dozen Dark Energy experts, and one expert in the late stage of Transformative Energy Stage.

Dragon Thorn!

Seeing these people, Xiao Yifeng thought of a secret unit of the Chinese military, Dragon Thorn, comparable to Dragon Soul. One was under the jurisdiction of the Chinese government, the other under the Chinese military.

Dragon Soul mostly handled domestic issues in China, while Dragon Thorn mainly operated abroad. Back when Xiao Yifeng led the War Emperor Mercenary Group, he had come into contact with them. He didn’t expect to encounter them here.

At this moment, all Dragon Thorn members were forcibly restraining the students and teachers possessed by the Evil Qi. However, this was only a temporary solution, not addressing the root cause.

After all, the Evil Qi was still present in the school, and if it continued to spread, the whole of Tianhai could be in danger.

Outside Tianhai University stood several figures dressed in Dragon Thorn uniforms. The man leading them had a square face, a resolute expression, and stood tall and straight like a pike, radiating a steely aura.

His temples were pronounced, and his eyes sparkled with keenness, but at this moment, his expression was heavy and his eyebrows were tightly knit.

”Captain, what should we do now? There are too many going mad inside the school for us to control,” a Dragon Thorn member said to the man.

”How can there be such terrifying Evil Qi inside Tianhai University? Could there be some evil entity here?” the man said with a grave expression.

”Captain, I think this matter is very serious and we must report it to our superiors so they can send someone to handle it. Otherwise, things are going to get out of hand,”

another Dragon Thorn member said solemnly.

”Leave this matter to me,”

At that moment, a voice came from behind them. The man known as the captain and the other two Dragon Thorn members turned around sharply.

They saw a man with his hands in his pockets standing behind them. It was Xiao Yifeng.

”Who are you? How did you get here? This place is dangerous, leave immediately!”

One of the Dragon Thorn members eyed Xiao Yifeng and hurriedly said.

”I’m here to help you deal with this situation,” Xiao Yifeng stated indifferently.

”Just you? Kid, don’t joke around; you’d better leave quickly.”

Another Dragon Thorn member was startled, his eyes showing a trace of disdain.

But the square-faced man looked at Xiao Yifeng and asked, ”You say you can resolve this situation?”

”Yes. Tianhai University is pervaded with evil Qi. If we don’t quickly get rid of this evil Qi, it will spread further, and I’m afraid more people will become possessed and lose their self-awareness. You should be very clear about the consequences of that,”

Xiao Yifeng’s gaze settled on the man, who was the team captain they referred to.

”Captain, don’t listen to this guy’s nonsense. Kid, you need to leave right now,”

one of the Dragon Thorn members said, and moved towards Xiao Yifeng, swinging out a hand, attempting to capture him.

Xiao Yifeng responded with a reversed grip, twisted the other’s arm behind him, and then kicked. The man knelt on the ground.

This move was as smooth as flowing water, and it happened very fast. The others did not have time to react.

The remaining Dragon Thorn members erupted with a formidable aura, locking onto Xiao Yifeng, and drew their weapons on him simultaneously.

”Hold on!” The captain interjected then, looking intently at Xiao Yifeng, ”What is your plan to resolve this evil Qi?”

”You’re about to find out.”

Xiao Yifeng released the Dragon Thorn member and walked towards Tianhai University.

The group of Dragon Thorn members watched as Xiao Yifeng entered Tianhai University, their expressions changing. They themselves did not dare venture too deeply into Tianhai University.

Otherwise, they feared even they would be possessed by the evil Qi and lose their minds, with no option but to control the students and faculty members who became possessed and rushed out.

Yet Xiao Yifeng was heading straight into Tianhai University, which was overrun with evil Qi. Was he not concerned for his life?

”Captain, this guy is entering Tianhai University now; isn’t that suicidal?”

One of the Dragon Thorn members said to the captain, whose eyes narrowed, a sharp glint within them.

At this time, Xiao Yifeng had entered Tianhai University, seeing the gray surroundings filled with dense evil Qi. There were many students controlled by it, mindlessly shambling around like zombies.

After scanning with his X-ray vision, Xiao Yifeng had confirmed that the evil Qi was emanating from an abandoned building. The seal there seemed to have been broken, causing the evil Qi to surge out wildly.
