Chapter 219: Chapter 219: Seeking Death or Attempting a Scam?

”Siqi, don’t stand there, come and eat. We’ve ordered so much food, it would be such a waste not to eat it. This lobster is good, and so is the abalone, great for skincare and beauty,”

Xiao Yifeng said while eating, his words directed at Fang Siqi, appearing utterly heartless. The people in the private room were all rendered speechless, thinking to themselves how fearless the young man was.

”Son!”

Suddenly, an exclamation was heard from outside the room. Wan Kai’s father, Tianhai, rushed in. Seeing his son, Wan Kai, lying on the ground, his face covered in blood, his own face turned pale with fright, and he quickly ran over.

”Son, how are you? Are you hurt? It was that bastard who did this to you, wasn’t it? I won’t let him get away with this!” Tianhai bellowed furiously.

”Dad... it was... it was him!”

Because Wan Kai had lost too much blood, his face was pale, and his lips trembled as he pointed at Xiao Yifeng, who was relishing his food.

”Kid, was it you who injured my son?”

When Tianhai saw Xiao Yifeng, who was eating and drinking red wine, his expression became one of shock.

He had not expected that the culprit responsible for battering his son would be such a young man, and this young man, after beating someone, even sat there brazenly enjoying his food. This was sheer arrogance taken to the extreme.

However, regardless of everything else, when Tianhai saw Xiao Yifeng, the man who had hurt his son, a flash of anger crossed his eyes, and he stood up, slamming the table with force.

”Hey, what’s with the slamming? Don’t you know it’s very impolite to interrupt someone’s meal?”

Xiao Yifeng said with a look of dissatisfaction, infuriating Tianhai until his face turned red. The others in the room were all speechless as they watched him.

This guy had injured someone else’s son and still had the nerve to make such remarks. He was shamelessly insufferable.

”You bastard, you’ve got some nerve to injure my son like this. I will not let you off the hook,” Tianhai pointed at Xiao Yifeng and roared.

”It was your son who demanded that I kneel before him and apologize. And this is how I apologize. It’s his own fault, not mine,” Xiao Yifeng retorted with a sneer.

”You... this is outrageous!”

Tianhai was fuming with rage, his face turning iron blue. He looked at the approaching Manager Xie and ordered, ”Manager Xie, call the police immediately and have this scoundrel arrested. I want him to stay in the police station forever and never come out.”

”Yes, yes, Mr. Wan, please calm down, I’ll call the police right away,”

Manager Xie quickly agreed.

”Hold on!” Just then, a deep voice interrupted, and Song Zhiyuan’s figure appeared.

”Song...” Tianhai began to speak upon seeing Song Zhiyuan, but the latter had already walked up to Xiao Yifeng and said respectfully, ”Mr. Xiao, so you were here. I have been looking for you.”

”Oh, it’s you. What’s up?”

Xiao Yifeng glanced at Song Zhiyuan indifferently and continued to feast on the large lobster in front of him.

”Well, you cured my father’s illness, and my father asked me to find you to properly thank you,” Song Zhiyuan said hastily.

”But it seems I’m about to be arrested and stuck in the police station, I’m afraid...”

Xiao Yifeng began to speak, but Song Zhiyuan’s expression suddenly turned cold, and his eyes flashed with a sharp glint as he looked at Tianhai:

”Mr. Xiao is a great benefactor of the Song Family. Anyone who seeks to harm Mr. Xiao is going against the Song Family, and we will certainly not stand by idly.”

Hearing Song Zhiyuan’s words, Tianhai’s face turned extremely unsightly, and he looked at Xiao Yifeng with a mix of surprise and apprehension in his eyes.

He had not expected that Xiao Yifeng would have such a significant connection with the Song Family, and his expression turned incredibly grim.

”Dad! You must not let him off!”

Wan Kai exclaimed with a face full of indignation at that moment.

Tianhai’s pupils were constantly shifting as he looked at Song Zhiyuan, ”Mr. Song, this...”

”You don’t need to say anything, Mr. Wan. In consideration of our partnership, let me tell you, if you want to do anything to Mr. Xiao, my Song Family will definitely not be courteous.”

”Mr. Xiao is my father’s lifesaver, and you should be clear about my old man’s temperament. When he gets angry, I fear your Wanke Group won’t have a place in Tianhai, let alone the whole of China.”

Song Zhiyuan, looking at Tianhai, spoke with an icy tone and a powerful aura that intimidated everyone present, who all looked at Xiao Yifeng with faces full of amazement.

No one had expected that this guy had such a substantial background; even Manager Xie instantly distanced himself from Tianhai, looking at Xiao Yifeng with a face of awe.

This guy seemed so ordinary, but unexpectedly, he was a hidden big shot; no wonder he had hit someone and still seemed so calm and collected.

Tianhai’s gaze flickered non-stop, filled with a complex expression as he looked at Xiao Yifeng and gritted his teeth.

In the end, he gave up on retaliating against Xiao Yifeng. He was clear about the power of the Song Family, as bringing down his company would be trivial for them.

Finally, Tianhai could only help Wan Kai to walk outside. Although the latter was full of unwillingness, he fainted due to excessive blood loss before he could say much.

”Well then, after a full meal, you’re the owner here, right? Time to settle the bill.”

After finishing his last cup of wine, Xiao Yifeng’s gaze turned to Manager Xie, who trembled and quickly spoke up.

”Sir, all expenses today are on me; you don’t need to pay.”

”I wasn’t planning to pay anyway. That money should have been settled by that guy just now,” Xiao Yifeng said with a sneer, ready to leave with Fang Siqi.

”Mr. Xiao!” Song Zhiyuan called out to Xiao Yifeng hastily.

”Is there anything else?” Xiao Yifeng turned his gaze towards Song Zhiyuan.

”Mr. Xiao, my father would like to have dinner with you to express his gratitude properly.”

Xiao Yifeng waved his hand dismissively, ”Another time, I’m busy now.”

Following that, Xiao Yifeng left with Fang Siqi, and Song Zhiyuan’s face showed no sign of anger as he also quickly left the place.

Only a group of students remained, looking at each other, uncertain of what to do next; no one had expected a simple gathering to turn out like this.

”Siqi, you hardly ate anything earlier. Do you want me to take you to get something to eat?”

In the car, Xiao Yifeng, driving, turned to Fang Siqi and said.

”No need, I’m not hungry,” Fang Siqi shook her head, then suddenly yelled, ”Be careful!”

Hiss hiss!!

Xiao Yifeng abruptly braked hard, showcasing the powerful performance of the Aston Martin; the car slid only one meter before coming to a stop.

In front of the car stood a man, dressed in ordinary and worn clothes, wearing an expression marked with vicissitudes. It was Luo Yun, the same man who had met with Dongzi previously.

”Hey, buddy, are you looking to die or to scam? Let me tell you, if you’re seeking death, just jump off a building. If you’re trying to scam, then don’t blame me for not being polite,” Xiao Yifeng got out of the car and coldly chided the man.
