Chapter 205: Chapter 205: Dockside Battle

The man pondered for a moment before looking at Duan Canghai, ”Sect Leader, what do we do now? Just let it be?”

”Let it be? Haha!” Duan Canghai laughed coldly.

”This person crippled my son’s arm and now has disabled Baozi’s limbs. How could we possibly just let this matter slide? No matter who he is, he must pay a tragic price, or else where is the dignity of the Feidao Sect?”

Duan Canghai’s aura was terrifying as he spoke with a voice that thundered.

Night fell, and the clear moonlight shrouded Tianhai City while the stars twinkled in the sky.

At Pier No.7 in Tianhai City, the area was brightly lit at this moment, with a cargo ship docked beside the pier, surrounded by various large containers.

One by one, large container transport trucks moved these containers onto the ship, while groups of workers in moving attire stood around.

Under the cover of darkness, Xiao Yifeng and Xiao Ruolin arrived here, their footsteps silent and unnoticed by anyone.

”What should we do now?”

Xiao Ruolin asked Xiao Yifeng in a low voice.

”Hey, shouldn’t I be the one asking you that? How come it’s you asking me now? You’re the one who brought me here,” Xiao Yifeng curled his lips.

Xiao Ruolin glared at Xiao Yifeng, about to move closer to the front to investigate whether the treasure was here.

”Hold on!” Xiao Yifeng suddenly grabbed Xiao Ruolin’s hand, and she looked at him, ”What is it?”

”No need to ponder, the treasure is hidden within these containers,” Xiao Yifeng said lightly.

”How do you know?” Xiao Ruolin looked at him, puzzled.

Xiao Yifeng’s mouth curved into a playful smile—he, naturally, with his pair of super-perspectival eyes, could see at a glance what was inside the containers.

”However... there’s something else in these containers as well,” Xiao Yifeng continued, his forehead furrowing.

”Something else? What is it?” Xiao Ruolin was taken aback.

”Twenty girls around the ages of seventeen or eighteen!”

”Girls?”

”Could they be involved in human trafficking!” Xiao Ruolin exclaimed in shock, thinking of something and crying out:

”I remember now, there have been many missing cases of impoverished girls or those orphaned in our jurisdiction and others; we have been investigating with no results.”

”Could these girls be the ones who mysteriously disappeared? These Japanese dare engage in human trafficking, it’s detestable. And Yang Corporation, to dare to carry out such deeds, we can’t let them off the hook.”

”Alright, Captain Xiao, keep your voice down a bit, or they’ll hear you. There are many experts hidden here,” Xiao Yifeng cautioned as he scanned the surroundings, his expression tight.

”I’ll call the station right now,” Xiao Ruolin said, getting ready to make a call.

At that moment, Xiao Yifeng spoke, ”What’s the use of contacting your sub-bureau for this kind of matter? Call the city bureau directly and have them send people over.”

”But I’m not familiar with the people from the city bureau, and would they even believe me if I call them at this time?” Xiao Ruolin couldn’t help asking.

”Sigh, looks like I need to take action,” Xiao Yifeng sighed and shook his head, took out his cell phone, found the number Director Luo Guanzhong had given him, and dialed it.

At this time, Director Luo Guanzhong was preparing to leave office and go home. He received Xiao Yifeng’s call and immediately said, ”Mr. Xiao, calling at this late hour, what’s the matter?”

Xiao Yifeng quickly gave a brief explanation of the situation at hand.

”What? Are you sure? Okay, I understand,” Director Luo Guanzhong said hastily after hearing Xiao Yifeng’s story.

”I’ll dispatch people immediately, you two be careful.”

After saying this, Director Luo Guanzhong turned around and returned to the city bureau to start organizing the operation.

At the dock, Xiao Ruolin watched Xiao Yifeng finish his call and couldn’t help but say, ”I didn’t expect you to be so familiar with Director Luo of the city bureau. He seemed to really respect you. Why is that?”

”Because I’m handsome!” Xiao Yifeng confidently declared, but Xiao Ruolin simply ignored him.

”What do we do now? Just wait like this?” Xiao Ruolin whispered.

”What else can we do? But who knows when they will come. By the looks of it, they will soon be done loading the ship, and they’ll be setting sail.”

Xiao Yifeng kept his X-ray vision on the situation at the dock at all times.

”No, we absolutely can’t let them just leave like this,” Xiao Ruolin said emphatically.

”Hey, keep it down!” Xiao Yifeng hurriedly covered Xiao Ruolin’s mouth.

”Who’s there!”

However, the sound of Xiao Ruolin’s voice had already caught the attention of several masters on the dock.

”We have a situation!”

On the edge of the dock, a man in a black trench coat, his eyes sharp with a cold glint, was none other than Tokugawa, who had previously clashed with Xiao Yifeng.

Next to him, Yamada Taka, dressed in a brown coat and wearing a hat, asked, ”What’s going on?”

Quickly, several workers slowly started to approach the spot where Xiao Yifeng and his companion were hiding.

Xiao Ruolin’s expression instantly tensed, and in a low voice, she asked, ”What do we do now?”

”You’ve really done it now, what else can we do? Since we’ve been discovered, we have no choice but to go in,” Xiao Yifeng said indifferently.

Xiao Ruolin’s eyes narrowed as she drew out the service pistol from her waist and charged forward.

”Damn it!” Xiao Yifeng couldn’t help but exclaim, impressed by the woman’s fearlessness.

”Freeze, don’t move, I’m a police officer!”

Xiao Ruolin rushed out, gun in hand, pointing it at the workers who were approaching and others on the dock, and yelled.

The faces of the people on the dock immediately changed, showing shock.

Bang!

At that moment, a figure leapt down from a container next to Xiao Ruolin, landing a kick squarely on her gun-holding hand, sending the weapon flying.

”Kill her! Speed up the process and set sail immediately!” Yamada Taka ordered coldly.

Upon seeing this scene, the workers in front of Xiao Ruolin revealed a fierce glint in their eyes and charged forward, launching brutal attacks. These were no ordinary workers, but Japanese masters in disguise.

As the group attacked, Xiao Ruolin’s face changed, and she directly engaged them in a fierce fight.

Although Xiao Ruolin possessed late-stage Ming strength, she was no match for the group and was kicked, sending her flying through the air.

Just as Xiao Ruolin was about to crash to the ground, a figure shot out, seizing her in midair, and with a spin, landed safely on the ground.

”Captain Xiao, it seems I have to save you after all!”

Xiao Yifeng looked at Xiao Ruolin with a sly smile, then seeing the footprint on her body, glared indignantly at the group.

”Hey, are you guys even men? Why kick there when there are other places? You have no compassion for the fairer sex.”
