Medical Sage

XX Weibo is the leading social media tool in the country for connecting with friends. People use it to interact with friends, colleagues, classmates, and others, sharing unlimited photos, links, and videos to strengthen their bonds.

It’s said that the number of official registered IDs on XX Weibo in Huaxia has surpassed nine digits. It is also a crucial bridge for domestic and international celebrities to increase their exposure and communicate with their fans, which is why most of them take XX Weibo very seriously.

On this particular day, in the data hall of the XX Weibo Group headquarters, a bespectacled employee holding a real-time data report frantically rushed to find Manager Lau to report on the situation.

”Manager Lau, Manager Lau, it’s terrible! Look at this!” The XX Weibo manager was leisurely drinking coffee in his office when the door was suddenly pushed open. The employee rushed in, holding the real-time data report with a look of pure anxiety.

”What’s the big deal? Why are you in such a panic? Compose yourself! Calm down,” Manager Lau said, remaining quite relaxed, though he did frown slightly at the employee.

”No, Manager Lau, you need to look at this first,” the employee insisted, unable to calm down as he handed over the report.

”What is this?”

Seeing the situation, Manager Lau’s expression finally grew serious. He pulled a few pages from the stack of reports and flipped through them quickly. His expression immediately transformed into one of extreme gravity, bordering on fury. A petition signed in blood by a million netizens? This is no joke!

He slowly raised his head, the gravity and anger on his face turning into a dark scowl. ”What exactly is going on? How did something like this suddenly blow up? I just did the routine check yesterday and everything was fine. Is this because of that South Korean punk… Min Jungsoo?”

”Yes, it’s because of him! Manager Lau, you have no idea how arrogant that punk is. He brazenly went on our XX Weibo and told his mindless fans to support Jin Bingying, the so-called strongest representative of Korean Medicine in the Huaxia-South Korea medical exchange! The internet has completely exploded! At least a million people—a million real IDs—have signed a petition in blood, demanding we ban that punk’s Weibo account,” the employee explained.

”Does this punk really think he’s someone special? Or does he actually believe everyone in Huaxia is one of his mindless Korean-pop fans? A petition signed in blood by a million netizens… he’s really stirred up public outrage this time.” Upon hearing this, Manager Lau first felt a surge of anger, which was quickly followed by an uncontrollable expression of scorn and mockery.

Just a minor South Korean punk, daring to rally his mindless Huaxian fans during the sensitive period of a medical exchange between Huaxia and South Korea! Does he really think all of Huaxia is obsessed with Korean pop? Or does he believe that starring in one hit K-drama makes him some invincible, universal superstar with infinite charisma, enough to stir up trouble with his mindless fans in our country? He must be out of his mind.

Besides, even setting aside personal patriotic feelings, the petition signed in blood by a million real users meant that XX Weibo couldn’t possibly sit back and do nothing. They had to formulate a response and take appropriate measures. After all, a million real users represented a huge amount of hidden wealth. Who could afford a loss like that?

At this thought, Manager Lau immediately waved his hand and ordered a response to the incident. ”In light of the comments made by Mr. Min Jungsoo on our XX Weibo platform, which have been deemed improper, unreasonable, and not condoned by XX Weibo, constituting a violation of our ’Three-No’s’ Policy, we hereby request that Mr. Min Jungsoo provide an explanation or issue an apology within three hours. Otherwise, we will officially move to suspend his account. This serves as a formal notice.”

Once XX Weibo released this immensely satisfying declaration, the internet erupted. In the eyes of hundreds of millions of Huaxian netizens, large corporations like XX Weibo and Tencent QQ were often scoundrels, spending all day scheming to drain them of their hard-earned money. But today, XX Weibo had finally shown some conscience and stood on the same side as them.

”Hey, are you online? Did you see it?”

”Duh, of course I’m online. You mean the official announcement from XX Weibo, right?”

”Yeah, those bloodsuckers finally did something right for once. It’ll be hilarious if that ’Pig Min’s’ Weibo account actually gets banned.”

”Of course! XX Weibo has the most users in Huaxia and is the platform that celebrities value most, with countless potential fans! So if that South Korean punk really gets his account banned, he can just go back to South Korea and eat dirt. From what I hear, his popularity back home is just so-so.”

”Not just so-so, he’s completely third-tier. If it weren’t for the huge number of mindless fans in our Huaxia who swarm anyone handsome like flies... But is that ’Pig Min’ really handsome? With his small eyes, small nose, and small mouth, his whole body has been surgically altered. He’s nothing but a phony and a sissy.”

”What can you do? That’s just how the mindless fans in our country are. And that nation of his, always thinking they’re some invincible, universal superpower!”

…

However, while the majority on the internet praised XX Weibo for its patriotic stance, a vocal minority was furious and immediately launched a counterattack. It wasn’t even Min Jungsoo who responded; he didn’t have to lift a finger. His mindless fans in the Republic charged forward as if their own parents had been slaughtered. No, they probably wouldn’t have been this hysterical even if their parents had been killed.

”Damn it! How dare you insult our invincible Zhongsu! You’re all trash, courting death!”

”Who dares to ban our Zhongsu’s Weibo account? Are you looking to die?”

”Listen up, XX Weibo admins! If you dare to ban our Zhongsu’s account, I’ll fight you to the death!”

”That’s right! Fight them! What’s this Traditional Chinese Medicine? It’s all trash! Bingying is so handsome, he’ll definitely win!”

”XX Weibo, get out of Huaxia! How dare you target our Zhongsu! You’re courting death!”

…

It had to be said that with its vast land and huge population, Huaxia consequently boasted a skyrocketing number of mindless fans. Just half an hour after XX Weibo’s official announcement, Min Jungsoo’s Huaxian fans erupted as if their parents had been murdered. Their eyes were red with rage as they screamed things like, ”Zhongsu is so handsome, and Bingying is so cool too!” and, ”How dare you suspend our Zhongsu’s XX Weibo account! I’ll fight you to the death!”

In short, they treated the South Korean punk as if he were their own father and mother. One could only wonder what the actual parents of these fans would think if they saw this, what emotions they would feel, and how helpless they would be.

Perhaps feeling the ’power of his huge fanbase’ supporting him, Min Jungsoo posted just one word on his Weibo: ”Immature.”

Does he really think he’s some Heavenly King in Huaxia? That XX Weibo wouldn’t dare suspend his account? How laughable! It’s absolutely impossible! He claimed to have three million fans in Huaxia! Three million! Would XX Weibo really risk alienating a fanbase that large?

However, he had clearly underestimated XX Weibo’s resolve and overestimated his own influence.

Three million fans? Heh.

Putting aside how inflated that number likely was, even if it were true, would XX Weibo dare to stick its neck out and kowtow to a South Korean punk during such a sensitive time, when there was a clear matter of right and wrong? He was thinking too highly of himself. So, XX Weibo took an action that brought immense satisfaction and pleasure to the nation’s netizens. They banned his account.

”As Mr. Min Jungsoo of South Korea has failed to provide an apology or explanation in accordance with XX Weibo regulations, we have decided to implement the following two measures. One, effective immediately, the account of Mr. Min Jungsoo will be suspended. Two, henceforth, we will no longer accept any new registration or real-name authentication applications from Mr. Min Jungsoo on the XX Weibo platform. This notice is hereby given.”

When this official declaration from XX Weibo was released, Min Jungsoo was utterly dumbfounded. They suspended his account and would never let him register again? This was akin to smashing his rice bowl, completely cutting off his livelihood.

In South Korea, his popularity couldn’t even be described as ”so-so”; he was an outright third-tier celebrity that nobody cared about. That was why he had tried to seize this opportunity to associate himself with Jin Bingying, the medical genius who represented the pride and honor of the Republic of Korea. He had hoped to ride Jin Bingying’s coattails to boost his popularity back home.

But who would have known that before he could even confirm he had successfully latched onto that mighty thigh, his entire market in Huaxia had already imploded? This was XX Weibo, the undisputed number-one social media platform in Huaxia and his best channel for interacting with his mindless Huaxian fans.

And now, his account was banned? The shock left him completely stupefied, practically crying himself unconscious in the bathroom. Never before had any international superstar received such ”unfair” treatment. All at once, our ”universal superstar” Min Jungsoo was seeing red.

He asked a close celebrity friend from South Korea to post a message on his behalf on XX Weibo: ”My XX Weibo account is my private property. No one has any reason or right to suspend it! I reserve the right to pursue legal action.” Even a fool could see that this was a thinly veiled threat directed at XX Weibo.

However, XX Weibo’s counterattack was swift.

First, the South Korean celebrity friend who had posted the message also received the same ”courtesy.” His XX Weibo account was suspended, and he was barred from ever applying for real-name verification again.

Then, XX Weibo posted an official reply. Oh, wait, it wasn’t a message, but two words: ”Immature? Naïve!”

The people online went absolutely wild with laughter.

”Immature? Naïve! Oh my god, hahahahahahaha!”

”XX Weibo is so damn cool! As expected of the industry leader, they’ve got a spine of steel! I love it, hahaha.”

”Is this South Korean punk completely mindless? Reserving the right to pursue legal action? Oh boy, who does he think he is? LG, Three Stars, or SK?”

”It’s not that the South Korean punks are mindless, it’s that they have no minds at all! Won’t apologize? Then wait for your account to get banned, duh.”

”Nice. XX Weibo’s move was so assertive. I’m impressed.”

”So awesome!”

…

A massive wave of reposts swept across Weibo.

For a time, all over the country, countless users were sharing those two words.

Immature? Naïve!

Even numerous famous figures, including Heavenly Kings and celebrities from all walks of life, joined in. The sight of it made the South Korean celebrities active in the country, along with their mindless fans, feel their faces burn. They were so flushed with shame they couldn’t even lift their heads.
