Chapter 1473: Chapter 27: Outbreak of War (Part 3)

”Therefore, we should seize this great opportunity to liberate Ukraine and Poland, and return them to the embrace of their homeland.”

Regarding Vladimir’s judgment, someone worriedly asked, ”Comrade Vladimir, over the past six months, imperialist countries have exported a large amount of weapons and equipment to the puppet governments in Ukraine and Poland.”

”This has rapidly expanded the armies of Ukraine and Poland to a scale of over six hundred thousand, with the mere size of the border puppet army already exceeding three hundred thousand.”

”They have received a large amount of wartime stockpiled weapons and supplies from the Allies and Allies, and have been trained by imperialist countries. When we deploy our troops now, it is hard to say whether we can break through the enemy’s lines immediately.”

”If the war devolves into a trench warfare model akin to that of the world wars, it could potentially lead us into a war of attrition with these puppet states.”

Vladimir explained this problem: ”Don’t overestimate the puppet armies of Ukraine and Poland; although they are armed by imperialist countries, they are essentially still the old armies and old warlords of the Tsarist Era.”

”Like hooligans who, without undergoing ideological reform, remain hooligans even when dressed in suits; their essence doesn’t change because they wear magnificent clothes.”

”Similarly, even if puppet armies receive military aid from imperialist countries, they cannot be like our worker class teams, who fearlessly sacrifice and dare to fight for ideals and the great cause of humanity.”

”Their fighting morale is extremely weak, because most of them are still exploited, squeezed, and discriminated against by old bureaucrats.”

”On the battlefield, they won’t sacrifice their lives for those high-ranking old bureaucrats, nobles, and capitalists. Therefore, even if they wield weapons provided by imperialists, they cannot utilize these advanced weapons and equipment effectively.”

”This type of army, when faced with our brave soldiers on the battlefield, will crumble at the first contact. Not only do we have brave soldiers, but we also have close to forty million people from occupied territories fighting alongside us.”

”Once organized, their railroads and highways will be paralyzed, and under the party’s leadership, we will coordinate to seize military strongholds and key towns in enemy-occupied territories...”

”Thus, victory in this war will undoubtedly be on our side. With the support of over one hundred million citizens, no imperialist country can obstruct us in liberating the people of Ukraine, Poland, and other regions.”

Thus, after Vladimir unified the thought, the Russian war machine was restarted, only this time under the leadership of the Russian Labor Party, unlike the previous Nicholas II, with the Russian populace actively participating in this war to liberate Eastern European compatriots.

The Russian domestic populace enthusiastically joined the military, factory workers voluntarily worked overtime to produce war-needed supplies, and the railway systems operated efficiently.

In such a positive atmosphere, in mid-September 1921, Russia officially launched the war to reclaim the lost lands including Ukraine.

On the front lines, the Russian army, with a threefold advantage in troop strength, advanced into the Baltic States, Poland, and Ukraine, engaging fiercely at the borders.

Meanwhile, the Russian Labor Party’s bold troop deployment immediately caused a sensation in the international community, plunging imperialist countries, especially the governments of European nations, into chaos.

Especially Germany and Austria-Hungary, upon the outbreak of war, fell into a predicament, with the dilemma of whether to send troops or not becoming the most vexing issue for both countries.
