The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

A fierce glint flashed in Cha Cai’s eyes. ’This kid is asking for it. So many guns pointed at him, and he still dares to nock an arrow?’

Cha Cai had no patience for this. He raised his AK without hesitation, the dark muzzle aimed at Cheng Yuan. He was going to turn Cheng Yuan into a sieve—kill one to warn a hundred!

Chen Ping quickly grabbed Cha Cai’s arm. ”Cha Cai,” he said calmly, ”I want to take care of him myself.”

Cha Cai didn’t realize that Chen Ping had just unintentionally saved his life. At that very moment, several sniper rifles were aimed at him. If he dared to fire at Cheng Yuan, the Warriors would have blown his head off, even without a direct order.

Cha Cai grinned. ”Fine. I’ll cover you. If there’s any danger, I’ll open fire immediately.”

Chen Ping nodded slightly, then took the bow and arrow from his back. He calmly nocked an arrow and, with a slight exertion, drew the bow to its full extent.

”Cheng! I grew up in the mountains and started learning archery from my grandfather at six. In close combat, I’ll admit I’m no match for you. But when it comes to bows and arrows, I, Chen Ping, have never feared anyone!”

Cheng Yuan grinned. ”Chen Ping, you overestimate yourself. There are things in this world that are beyond your comprehension! I’ll give you one chance to live. Have your men put down their guns and tie each other’s limbs! Otherwise, when I loose this arrow, all of you will become corpses! You might not even get a complete one!”

The people around Cheng Yuan felt a surge of hope!

When Cheng Yuan first said he was going to hunt a black bear with a knife, no one believed him in the slightest, but he did it!

’Could it be that Cheng Yuan is about to give them another huge surprise?’

Chen Ping rolled his eyes, speechless. ”Cheng, have you lost your mind? There are more than fifty of us, with fifty AKs, and you have one bow and arrow. You’re going to turn us all into corpses? That’s hilarious! Enough with the bullshit! Go on, shoot your arrow!”

Cheng Yuan sighed. He had given him a way out, but Chen Ping didn’t take it. He couldn’t be blamed for what happened next.

To be honest, Cheng Yuan wasn’t very good at archery. Even his aiming stance was a bit off.

However, Cheng Yuan had his Double Pupil. He could fine-tune the arrow’s trajectory in mid-flight, so he wasn’t worried about missing.

Wan Liang, of course, knew nothing about the Double Pupil. One look at Cheng Yuan’s stance told him he was a complete amateur.

Wan Liang asked with a wry smile, ”Brother Yuan, be honest with me, have you ever shot an arrow before?”

Cheng Yuan answered truthfully, ”This is my first time.”

’His first time??’

The corners of everyone’s mouths twitched uncontrollably.

’Brother Yuan, are you messing with us?’

’It’s your first time shooting an arrow, and you’re bold enough to claim you’ll turn them all into corpses?’

Everyone started trying to talk him out of it.

”Brother Yuan, archery is a skill. Without proper training, you can’t hit a target. Don’t try to force it.”

”Brother Yuan, the lives of so many of us are in your hands! You have to calm down!”

”Brother Yuan, an egg can’t break a stone. There’s no shame in compromising for now.”

Wang Yan and Zhang Nana, worried that Cheng Yuan was about to do something rash, stepped in front of him, blocking his line of fire with their slender bodies.

”Brother Yuan, please don’t be impulsive!”

Everyone from the Hunting Expedition Team looked at Cheng Yuan with pleading eyes, hoping he would calm down.

Cheng Yuan was speechless. ”Why are you still pinning your hopes on the enemy’s mercy? Do you have any idea what will happen if they take you away?”

Everyone shook their heads blankly.

Cheng Yuan said in a low voice, ”The men will be squeezed for every last bit of value before having their organs harvested. The women will be sold to entertainment venues, forced to service a hundred customers a day. Is that the kind of life you really want?”

The color drained from the faces of Wan Liang and the others. They all whipped their heads around to look at Chen Ping.

Wang Yan, emboldened by the fact that Chen Ping had once pursued her, demanded loudly, ”Chen Ping! Are you planning to sell us to entertainment venues?”

Chen Ping grinned. ”Wang Yan, if you can serve me well, maybe I’ll keep you by my side! As for the other two, they’ll definitely be sold. He Jing in particular should become a top attraction, a sensation throughout the entire park!”

’It’s exactly as Brother Yuan said!’ everyone thought, their faces filled with utter despair.

Wang Yan and Zhang Nana stepped aside. Looking at Cheng Yuan with expressions of defiance, they shouted, ”Brother Yuan! You were right! We shouldn’t have held on to unrealistic fantasies! We shouldn’t have pinned our hopes on Chen Ping’s mercy! Shoot your arrow! We would rather die than service clients!”

Wan Liang, Xiang Fei, and Luo Hou silently drew the Hunting Blades from the backs of their waists. They said nothing, their actions showing their support for Cheng Yuan.

Unfortunately, their defiant spirit didn’t move their opponents in the slightest. Instead, it was met with a roar of laughter.

”Hahaha, do these kids really think they’re Ultraman? That they can block bullets with their bodies?”

Chen Ping snorted coldly. ”Cheng Yuan, don’t try to stall for time! I’ll give you ten more seconds. If you don’t shoot your arrow, then I’m afraid you’ll lose your final chance!”

”Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish!”

Cheng Yuan also snorted coldly and decisively released the bowstring!

SWOOSH!

The long arrow sped toward Chen Ping!

Chen Ping had hunted in the jungle with his grandfather since he was a child. His archery skills had long since reached a state of perfection, far surpassing Wan Liang’s. He had simply been hiding his true abilities.

Chen Ping could tell with a single glance that Cheng Yuan’s arrow was absurdly off-course!

With a disdainful look, Chen Ping released his own bowstring.

SWOOSH!!

Chen Ping’s arrow was like a shooting star, flashing past in an instant as it flew straight for Cheng Yuan’s throat!

A cruel smile appeared on Chen Ping’s face. ’That Cheng punk is a dead man!’

But in the next second, Chen Ping’s expression changed!

Chen Ping felt a slight jolt in his left arm. Cheng Yuan’s ridiculously off-target arrow had actually hit him!

The next second, Chen Ping felt a jolt in his right arm!

Chen Ping instinctively turned his head to look. A spray of blood erupted from his right arm, and the lower half of it fell to the ground!

Before Chen Ping could even process what had happened, the sound of gunfire, like popping beans, suddenly erupted all around, mixed with the sound of heavy weapons!

RAT-A-TAT-TAT! RAT-A-TAT-TAT!

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Muzzle flashes vented furiously from the forest behind them, and the fifty Guard Team members were cut down like grass!

Chen Ping was completely stunned. ’What in the world is happening?’

Cha Meng had more combat experience. The moment he heard the gunshots, he quickly turned and saw a group of Warriors charging out of the forest!

Cha Meng swiftly raised his AK, trying to fire at the Warriors!

His finger was already on the trigger, but he couldn’t squeeze it. His shoulder jolted, and his entire arm fell off!

Hearing the sudden gunfire, Wan Liang and the others mistakenly thought their opponents had opened fire!

Terrified, Wan Liang and the others immediately dropped to the ground, covering their heads with their hands and trembling uncontrollably, as if that could protect them from the bullets!

BOOM!!

A grenade hit the helicopter hovering over the camp. The helicopter became a Fireball, spiraling to the ground and crashing into the camp’s fence!

The fence, which had just been repaired last night, had another huge hole smashed into it!

The people lying on the ground were dumbfounded. They stared blankly at the helicopter, now a Fireball, their minds a complete mess.

’What’s going on?’

’Have Chen Ping’s men gone crazy?’

’Why would they shoot down their own helicopter?’
