The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

The three of them were just about to question it when Chen Ping’s voice, amplified several times by a megaphone, reached their ears.

”Brothers and sisters of the Hunting Expedition Team, I, Chen Ping, have returned!”

The three were stunned.

’Holy crap!’

’Brother Yuan was actually right!’

’Chen Ping really did call in the helicopter and these SUVs!’

Startled by the roar of the helicopter and the vehicles, the three girls heard Chen Ping’s words and hurried out of the wooden cabin.

”Young Master Wan, what’s going on?”

Wan Liang frowned. ”It’s Chen Ping. He’s come back for blood! Making a scene this big... I’m afraid this won’t end peacefully.”

The three girls were terrified, and Xiang Fei and Luo Hou grew tense as well.

”We drove Chen Ping away last night. He wouldn’t hold a grudge, would he?”

”Young Master Wan, you and Chen Ping always got along. Why don’t you try explaining things to him?”

Wan Liang gave a bitter smile. ”I know Chen Ping very well. He’s incredibly vengeful and petty. We burned that bridge completely last night. I’m afraid we’re…”

The corners of Cheng Yuan’s mouth turned up slightly as he looked at the three men with a half-smile. ”Don’t be afraid. You all have some history with Chen Ping, after all. If it comes down to it, just hand me over. That will surely appease his anger.”

The expressions on all six of their faces changed drastically.

”Brother Yuan, we look up to you as our leader! What do you take us for? How could we ever hand you over?”

”Brother Yuan, we already feel terrible for being such cowards yesterday. We absolutely won’t back down now! If it comes to it, we’ll fight!”

Cheng Yuan grinned. ”Don’t panic just yet. Liang, go ask Chen Ping what he wants.”

”Alright.”

Wan Liang walked up to the fence and shouted, ”Chen Ping, what the hell do you think you’re doing, coming back here with an army? You’re not welcome! Leave immediately!”

Chen Ping looked at Wan Liang with a mocking gaze. ”Sorry, Young Master Wan, but I’m in complete control of the situation now. Whether to leave, or who gets to leave—that’s all up to me.”

”Chen Ping, are you trying to kidnap us? You have three seconds to leave, or I’m calling the police!”

’The police?’

Chen Ping couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

”Hahaha! Young Master Wan, do me a favor and check your phone. Do you still have a signal?”

Wan Liang quickly pulled out his phone to look and was instantly dumbfounded. Last night he had one bar, but now it was gone!

Wan Liang said angrily, ”Chen Ping, did you jam the signal? What are you trying to do?”

Chen Ping slowly got out of his car. Looking at Wan Liang from thirty meters away, he said, ”Young Master Wan, you’re all my ’goods’ now. You don’t have the right to ask me questions! Now, drop your weapons immediately and walk out of the camp! I’ll let you live.”

Enraged, Wan Liang unhesitatingly nocked an arrow. ”Chen Ping,” he asked coldly, ”do you believe I can’t put an arrow through you?”

SLAM! SLAM!

The doors of seven or eight SUVs swung open, and more than fifty members of the Guard Team got out, leveling the dark muzzles of their guns at Wan Liang!

If Wan Liang made the slightest move, he would be riddled with bullets!

The color instantly drained from Wan Liang’s face!

’Holy crap!’

’These guys are holding AKs!!’

’Are you sure this isn’t a movie?’

Wan Liang’s heart pounded wildly in terror, and a thick sheen of cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

Cha Meng came to Chen Ping’s side and looked at Wan Liang mockingly. ”Kid, you got the guts to shoot my brother Chen Ping? Believe it or not, we’ll turn you into a hornet’s nest.”

Wan Liang quickly lowered his bow, raised his hands high, and said with a sycophantic smile, ”Big Brother! I was just playing a little joke with my brother Chen Ping! Don’t misunderstand!”

Cha Meng snorted coldly and gave a nonchalant command, ”Everyone in the camp! My brother Chen Ping has already sold you to me! Drop your weapons and come over here now! Otherwise, you’ll be getting a taste of our bullets!”

As he spoke, Cha Meng suddenly pulled the trigger.

RAT-TAT-TAT! RAT-TAT-TAT!

A stream of fire spat out, shredding a nearby tree into a pile of splinters.

Aside from Cheng Yuan and He Jing, none of the young people in the Hunting Expedition Team had ever witnessed such a scene.

They were all instantly scared shitless.

Two of the girls clung to each other, trembling uncontrollably.

Xiang Fei and Luo Hou were so scared their legs were shaking. They quickly threw their crossbows to the ground and raised their hands, terrified of causing any misunderstandings.

Cheng Yuan, a calm expression on his face, walked to the side of the fence and looked at Chen Ping with an indifferent gaze.

It was true what they say: when enemies meet, their eyes burn with a special kind of hatred.

’He, Chen Ping, had worked so hard to establish an identity back home. He’d finally made a few good friends. And Cheng Yuan had ruined everything!’

Chen Ping roared, ”You, surnamed Cheng! Get out of the camp right now! Kneel before me! Maybe then, I’ll give you a quick death!”

Hearing this, Wan Liang’s face paled, and he quickly pleaded, ”Chen Ping, for the sake of our many years of friendship, do me this one favor. Let us go, and don’t make things hard for Brother Yuan!”

Chen Ping suddenly burst out laughing—a crazed, maniacal laugh.

”Our friendship? Hahaha! What friendship is there between us? I was sticking up for you! And you helped an outsider beat me!”

”Chen Ping, I was the one who offended you yesterday! I can get on my knees and apologize! I’m begging you, don’t make things difficult for us!”

THUD!

Wan Liang fell to his knees and raised a hand to slap his own face.

Cheng Yuan grabbed Wan Liang’s wrist, pulling him to his feet. He said in a low voice, ”Wan Liang, a man’s pride is worth more than gold. The only real option is to fight.”

’Fight?’

Wan Liang smiled bitterly. ’Fight with what?’

’They have so many AKs, a couple of heavy weapons, and a helicopter hovering over our heads!’

Wan Liang tried to persuade him, ”Brother Yuan, we’re completely outmatched right now. Why don’t you just try to appease him? If that doesn’t work, I can give Chen Ping more money. We can pay our way out of this.”

’Appease him?’

’Heh…’

Cheng Yuan laughed.

Xiang Fei, Luo Hou, and the other two girls also came closer, all trying to persuade him.

”Brother Yuan, a wise man knows when to yield. Just give in!”

”Brother Yuan, even great heroes have endured public humiliation. Giving in a little is no big deal.”

”Brother Yuan, where there’s life, there’s hope! And revenge is a dish best served cold. Let’s just get through today first!”

…

Only He Jing didn’t try to persuade him. She just stared at Cheng Yuan, resolute. She knew he would have a plan.

Cheng Yuan looked at them all very seriously. ”The word ’surrender’ doesn’t exist in my dictionary! Don’t worry. They’re the ones who are going to lose.”

Chen Ping was so amused by Cheng Yuan’s words that he laughed, giving him a sarcastic thumbs-up. In a wildly exaggerated tone, he said, ”You, surnamed Cheng, you don’t really think that just because you can hunt a bear, you can take on AKs and rocket launchers, do you?”

Cheng Yuan reached down and picked up the bow Wan Liang had dropped. He hefted it in his hands for a moment. ”An Olympic-grade bow, no less. It has a nice feel to it.”

Saying this, Cheng Yuan nocked an arrow and aimed it directly at Chen Ping.

”I don’t know if I can take on AKs and rocket launchers, but I do know I can kill you with a single arrow. Want to find out?”
