The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 375: Chapter 375: Warrior Lin Ruoxi

Liu Qingcheng was both touched and anxious.

”Ruoxi, you! Ugh! You’re still so stubborn, so inflexible! You could have run and called the Patrol Officers! Or asked Director Wang for help!”

Lin Ruoxi’s gaze was incredibly gentle. ”But you would have been hurt before the Patrol Officers arrived, before Director Wang arrived. I, Lin Ruoxi, won’t let anyone harm you.”

Liu Qingcheng’s beautiful, large eyes filled with a misty haze. It took immense willpower to keep the tears from spilling as she pulled Lin Ruoxi into a tight hug.

”Ruoxi, you’re such an idiot! The biggest idiot in the world!”

The genuine emotion between the two moved some of the surrounding actresses. They wished they also had a best friend for whom they would do anything.

Unfortunately, that was just a fantasy.

After all, in the real world, the saying goes: guard against fire, guard against thieves, and guard against your best friend.

Especially in the entertainment industry.

Seeing the actresses’ moods darken, Tang Yifei quickly fanned the flames. ”Such deep sisterly love! I’m so moved! Liu Qingcheng, I have to admire your acting skills! If you really cared about your ’sister,’ why did you personally send her to a producer’s room?”

If Tang Yifei had said this about someone else, the actresses might not have believed her. But since she was talking about Liu Qingcheng, they didn’t have a single doubt!

After all, many scandals had circulated about Liu Qingcheng back in the day, saying she had climbed the ladder by knocking on many people’s doors late at night.

From directors to producers to investors—she hadn’t missed a single one.

”Liu Qingcheng, your acting is a perfect ten, I can’t find a single flaw. You even managed to squeeze out some tears! Too bad your friend’s acting is so terrible. Not even a single teardrop!”

”Damn it, I almost fell for their shoddy performance! How infuriating!”

”This is disgusting, putting on such a vile show right in front of us! Sisters, let’s get them and expose their true, ugly faces!”

The actresses began to press forward again.

Liu Qingcheng instinctively pulled Lin Ruoxi behind her. She hardened her heart. ’Even if I’m disfigured today, I have to protect Ruoxi!’

But to Liu Qingcheng’s surprise, Lin Ruoxi executed a nimble spin, moving in front of her and shielding her. She stared coldly at the hostile actresses.

”Are you sure you want to do this? Don’t regret it.”

”You bitch, still talking tough when you’re about to die!”

Chen Xiaotong was the first to strike. Bending her fingers slightly, she lunged, aiming her long nails at Lin Ruoxi’s flawless face! She wanted to leave several deep, bloody scratches on her cheek!

Cheng Yuan often practiced martial arts at home, and Lin Ruoxi, having nothing better to do, had learned a few moves from him.

Lin Ruoxi couldn’t beat a true master, but dealing with a few out-of-shape actresses was a piece of cake.

Lin Ruoxi’s hand shot out, grabbing Chen Xiaotong’s wrist and squeezing hard!

Chen Xiaotong let out a muffled grunt, her face turning pale!

’This vixen is so strong!’

’It hurts so much!’

Lin Ruoxi knew full well to press her advantage. While her left hand held Chen Xiaotong’s wrist, her right hand swiftly grabbed a handful of Chen Xiaotong’s hair and yanked it down hard!

At the same time, Lin Ruoxi sharply raised her leg, driving her knee heavily into Chen Xiaotong’s nose!

Chen Xiaotong let out a blood-curdling scream. Blood gushed from her nose, the bridge knocked completely crooked!

Only then did Lin Ruoxi let go. Chen Xiaotong collapsed to the ground like a sack of potatoes and passed out cold.

Liu Qingcheng was completely stunned. Was this female Warrior really the sweet, well-behaved Ruoxi she knew?

’She’s so violent!’

’But I love it!’

”Ruoxi! You’re amazing! You have to teach me that move!”

Lin Ruoxi smiled, a perfectly harmless expression on her face. ”Is one move enough? I can teach you a few more.”

With that, Lin Ruoxi looked at the surrounding actresses. ”Anyone else want to try? I can give Qingcheng a live demonstration.”

The other actresses were terrified. To them, a fight meant pulling hair, scratching a little, and maybe biting a couple of times at most.

Compared to this female demon, their fights were just child’s play!

The actresses all backed away.

Just then, Chen Xiaotong slowly regained consciousness and let out a piercing, miserable shriek.

”My nose! My three-hundred-thousand-yuan nose! You bitch! You’ll pay for my nose!!”

PFFT! Liu Qingcheng let out an unkind laugh.

”Chen Xiaotong, so your nose really is fake? The implant is showing! I seem to recall someone repeatedly clarifying that her nose was all-natural! HAHAHA, I don’t want to laugh, but I just can’t help it!”

”Liu Qingcheng! I’ll kill you!!”

Chen Xiaotong struggled to her feet and charged wildly at Liu Qingcheng, her hand raised to claw at her face!

Lin Ruoxi quickly pulled Liu Qingcheng aside and sent Chen Xiaotong sprawling back to the ground with a vicious kick.

Chen Xiaotong knew she was no match for them. She looked to her ”sisters” for help, but unfortunately, they wouldn’t even meet her gaze.

Furious, Chen Xiaotong started throwing a tantrum on the floor.

”She’s hitting me! Someone’s hitting me!! Security?!”

Chen Xiaotong’s voice was thin and high-pitched, quickly attracting the attention of the security guards.

The guards rushed over to assess the situation. When they saw Chen Xiaotong’s crooked, bloody nose and mouth, their expressions turned grim.

Today was Director Wang’s birthday banquet. The guests were either celebrities or major players in the entertainment industry. If something happened, the guards couldn’t afford to take responsibility!

The head of security recognized Chen Xiaotong, and his heart went cold. Chen Xiaotong was one of Director Wang’s top three actresses. If something happened to her on their watch, they’d have a lot to answer for to Director Wang!

The head of security asked nervously, ”Miss Chen, what happened?”

Chen Xiaotong pointed a finger at Lin Ruoxi, embellishing her accusation.

”This woman isn’t in the entertainment industry, she snuck into Director Wang’s birthday banquet! I just questioned her, and she attacked me! Arrest her right now! I’m pressing charges for assault!”

SWOOSH!

The guards turned to look at Lin Ruoxi and were collectively stunned for a moment.

’She’s so beautiful, and she has such a powerful presence!’

With a cautious attitude, the security head asked, ”Ma’am, are you in the entertainment industry?”

Lin Ruoxi answered truthfully, ”No.”

The security head’s face darkened. ”So, you really are here to cause trouble?”

Liu Qingcheng quickly stepped forward. ”Ruoxi isn’t causing trouble! I brought her to Director Wang’s birthday banquet!”

Chen Xiaotong shouted angrily, ”Liu Qingcheng, even if you brought this bitch, that doesn’t give her the right to hit people! What are you all waiting for? Arrest her immediately!”

The guards, having confirmed the situation, looked at Lin Ruoxi with very serious expressions.

”Ma’am, you are suspected of assault. You’ll have to come with us.”

Lin Ruoxi explained, ”It was just self-defense. You shouldn’t just take her word for it.”

Unfortunately, the head of security didn’t believe Lin Ruoxi at all. After all, she didn’t have a scratch on her, while Chen Xiaotong was a mess.

”Ma’am, if you don’t cooperate, we will be forced to take you away!”
