Chapter 368: Chapter 368: Nephew Greets Uncle Cheng

Lei Hua had been scared witless by Cheng Yuan. But when Lin Wei mentioned Gao Zhisheng, Lei Hua’s spirits were instantly restored, and he puffed up his chest again!

Lei Hua shoved a few of his lackeys aside and strode forward, looking down his nose at Cheng Yuan.

”Listen here, kid. Lanke Hotel is the Gao Family’s property! If Zhisheng finds out you touched me, he’ll never let you go! Cripple Xu Ke’s limbs and make him break up with Xiaoxue right now. Then, you’ll kneel and apologize to me! If you do, I might just forgive your insolence!”

’Eldest Young Master Gao?’

’Isn’t that my nephew?’

Cheng Yuan smiled.

”Lei Hua, I’d advise you not to call Gao Zhisheng. Otherwise, you’ll die a miserable death. I’d advise you to kneel and apologize to Xu Ke immediately, and promise you’ll never appear before Kong Xue again. If you do, you might just get to keep your life.”

Lei Hua laughed so hard his stomach started to hurt.

”Hahaha! Kid, a newborn calf really isn’t afraid of a tiger! You think you’re so tough just because you know a few moves? Let me tell you, the one guarding Lanke Hotel is Brother Scar, one of the Four Great Vajra under the King of Luo City, Mr. Gao! Brother Scar was already a Grandmaster before he went to prison! Now, he’s on the verge of becoming a Divine Realm Grandmaster! He’s one of the top ten experts in Luocheng!”

’The King of Luo City?’

’Has Gao Qingyuan achieved such a high status already?’

’Interesting.’

Cheng Yuan couldn’t be bothered to waste any more words on Lei Hua. He raised his hand and slapped him straight to the ground, looking at him with disgust.

”Why are you all talk? If you’re going to call someone, hurry up and do it! If not, then get on your knees and apologize!”

Lei Hua was stunned. He subconsciously cupped his face, staring at Cheng Yuan in disbelief. ’Is this kid crazy? I already dropped Gao Zhisheng’s name, so how does he still dare to hit me?’

”Fine! You asked for this!”

Burning with rage, Lei Hua completely forgot his father’s order to keep a low profile and whipped out his phone to call Gao Zhisheng!

The call connected quickly. Lei Hua yelled, ”Zhisheng, I’m getting beaten up in private room 506 at Lanke Hotel! Get over here and help me get even!”

Gao Zhisheng’s laughter came through the phone. ”Hahaha, Lei Hua, are you for real? How pathetic can you be? A few days ago someone stole your girl, and now you’re getting beaten up?”

Lei Hua was getting pissed. ”Fuck! I’m about to get killed over here, and you’re in the mood to laugh? Are you coming or not?”

With a hint of caution, Gao Zhisheng asked, ”To dare make a move on our family’s turf, do they have a powerful background?”

”Powerful background, my ass! He’s just some small-time developer named Xu Ke. You know him?”

Gao Zhisheng was immediately put at ease.

”Lei Hua, who do you take me for? Why would I know some small-time developer? The Qingyuan Group only does business with the top-tier developers in Luocheng! I’m having dinner on the top floor. Just wait, I’ll bring some guys over right now!”

After hanging up, Lei Hua stared coldly at Cheng Yuan. ”Kid, Zhisheng is having dinner on the top floor and he’s coming down right now! I’ll give you one last chance. Kneel, crawl over here, and lick my shoes! Once Zhisheng gets here, it’ll be too late for you.”

Hearing this, Xu Ke’s face instantly turned deathly pale.

’I thought Lei Hua was just bluffing, but I can’t believe he could actually summon Gao Zhisheng!’

’What are we going to do?’

Xu Ke rushed to Cheng Yuan’s side and said in a low voice, ”Brother Yuan, Gao Zhisheng is one of the top three spoiled heirs in Luocheng! His father, Gao Qingyuan, is known as the King of Luo City! Gao Qingyuan is surrounded by countless experts. Even if you know a few moves, you’re no match for them. We have to go, now!”

With that, Xu Ke grabbed Cheng Yuan and tried to flee.

But unfortunately, with his meager strength, how could he possibly move Cheng Yuan?

Cheng Yuan patted Xu Ke’s shoulder and gave him a reassuring look. ”Xu Ke, don’t be nervous. When Gao Zhisheng gets here, the one who’s going to die isn’t us, it’s Lei Hua.”

After speaking, Cheng Yuan found a chair and sat down nonchalantly.

Xu Ke’s eyes lit up. ”Brother Yuan, is Eldest Young Master Gao your brother, like me?”

Cheng Yuan shook his head gently. ”He’s not worthy of being my brother. He’s my nephew. He has to call me Uncle.”

Uh...

Xu Ke was speechless with exasperation. ’What time is it for jokes? How can Brother Yuan still be in the mood to kid around?’

Cheng Yuan was so composed that Lei Hua had initially worried he might actually know Gao Zhisheng. However, when Cheng Yuan claimed Gao Zhisheng was his nephew, Lei Hua’s anxiety vanished. In his mind, he had already sentenced Cheng Yuan to death.

Gao Zhisheng arrived quickly, shoving the door to the private room open.

Beside Gao Zhisheng was a burly man with two centipede-like scars on his face.

Lei Hua and his few lackeys’ eyes lit up. They rushed forward, and Lei Hua began his tearful, dramatic accusation.

”Zhisheng, look at my face! My hand is broken too! That kid is too ruthless! Liu Quan’s limbs were crippled; he’s probably going to be a cripple for life! You have to get revenge for me!”

Gao Zhisheng looked at Lei Hua’s face, then at Liu Quan writhing on the floor, and his expression turned incredibly dark.

’Beating up my friend at Lanke Hotel... this is a serious sign of disrespect!’

’If I don’t get even today, how can I show my face in Luocheng ever again?’

Gao Zhisheng looked coldly toward Cheng Yuan and Xu Ke. Because of the angle, and because Cheng Yuan was sitting down, Gao Zhisheng only saw Xu Ke.

Gao Zhisheng asked coldly, ”You’re Xu Ke? You’re the one who stole Lei Hua’s girl and beat him up?”

At this critical moment, Xu Ke did not back down. He said in a heavy voice, ”I am Xu Ke! But I didn’t steal anyone’s girlfriend! I only started dating Xiaoxue after she and Lei Hua broke up. As for hitting Lei Hua, I don’t deny it. He deserved it!”

Instead of getting angry, Gao Zhisheng laughed. ’This kid dares to defy me?’

’Courting death!’

’Today, I have to teach this kid a harsh lesson!’

Gao Zhisheng strode toward Xu Ke, with Brother Scar leisurely following behind, not giving Xu Ke or Cheng Yuan a second thought.

Lei Hua knew Gao Zhisheng very well. ’When Gao Zhisheng is furious, he’s not that scary. But when he laughs out of anger, he’s like a Demon!’

’An enraged, laughing Gao Zhisheng was someone even he wouldn’t dare to provoke!’

’These two kids actually managed to make Gao Zhisheng laugh in anger. They’re dead for sure!’

Lei Hua decided to add more fuel to the fire and ensure they both died a horrible death.

Lei Hua strode forward, pointed at Cheng Yuan’s face, and yelled, ”Hey, kid! Didn’t you just say Zhisheng was your nephew? If you’ve got the guts, say it again!”

’Nephew?’

Gao Zhisheng’s gaze darkened, and he looked toward Cheng Yuan, who was next to Xu Ke, with chilling killing intent.

After getting a clear look at Cheng Yuan’s face, Gao Zhisheng froze as if he’d been struck by lightning. His entire body went numb.

’Holy shit!’

’Why is it Uncle Cheng?’

’Of all the people Lei Hua could have provoked...’

’He just had to provoke Uncle Cheng?!’

’Damn him to hell!’

The ferocity in Gao Zhisheng’s eyes vanished, replaced by nothing but terror.

Gao Zhisheng strode up to Cheng Yuan, bowed deeply, and said respectfully, ”Nephew greets Uncle Cheng!”
