The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Brother Yuan Is My Real Big Brother

Led by Zhu Chao, the group of young masters stormed toward the Sofitel Hotel.

The security guards recognized a few of the young masters and didn’t dare to intercept them.

A quicker-witted guard tried to call it in, but Zhu Chao snatched his phone and slammed it to the ground, smashing it to smithereens!

Zhu Chao pointed at the guard’s face and cursed, ”You make a pittance a month, don’t you know your fucking place? You dare get involved in Brother Hu’s business? Do you have a death wish?”

Zhu Chao’s menacing presence was overwhelming. The guard whose phone had been smashed was furious but didn’t dare say a word. The other guards, intent on self-preservation, didn’t dare make a peep.

With the young masters backing him up, Zhu Chao puffed out his chest. Exuding killing intent, he led the group charging into the lobby and took the elevator straight to the 8th floor.

CRASH!

Zhu Chao shoved open the doors to the Duke’s Mansion suite, pointed at Cheng Yuan, and yelled, ”Brother Yunhu, that’s the brat who disrespected you!”

Following Zhu Chao’s finger, Zhu Yunhu saw Cheng Yuan, and his expression instantly changed.

Shit!

’Why is it Brother Yuan?’

Zhu Yunhu strode towards Cheng Yuan.

Zhu Chao, basking in borrowed glory, strutted beside Zhu Yunhu. He marched right up to Cheng Yuan, pointed at his face, and sneered, ”You, surnamed Cheng, aren’t you so tough? Brother Yunhu is here now, let’s see you try and act tough for me again...”

SLAP!

Before Zhu Chao could finish his sentence, Zhu Yunhu suddenly spun around, raised his arm high, and brought it down in a vicious slap!

”WAH!!”

Zhu Chao spat out a mouthful of blood and broken teeth. He stared at Zhu Yunhu, completely baffled, and said plaintively, ”Brother Yunhu, why did you hit me? It was obviously that brat surnamed Cheng who was disrespecting you, obviously...”

Halfway through his sentence, Zhu Chao choked on his words, unable to believe the scene unfolding before his very eyes!

He saw Zhu Yunhu grab Cheng Yuan’s hand with incredible warmth, shaking it vigorously. ”Brother Yuan, why didn’t you tell me you were coming to the Provincial City? Your little brother could have rolled out the red carpet for you!”

A moment ago, the young masters behind Zhu Yunhu had all worn frosty expressions. At a single command from him, they would have swarmed forward and beaten Cheng Yuan to a pulp.

Just like they did with Gu Chen!

But they never could have imagined that Zhu Yunhu would refer to himself as a ”little brother” and treat this person with such immense respect!

’Just who is this guy, Cheng?’

’It was terrifying to even consider!’

Cheng Yuan said nonchalantly, ”My sister is here for the Math Olympiad. I didn’t want any disturbances. I didn’t expect some people would repeatedly come looking for trouble.”

Zhu Yunhu’s expression darkened. He turned to look coldly at Zhu Chao. ”Brother Yuan is like my own flesh and blood. Offending him is the same as offending me, Zhu Yunhu! Zhu Chao, it seems you have a death wish!”

Cold sweat instantly drenched the clothes on Zhu Chao’s back!

’He couldn’t believe it. The new boss’s background was this formidable! Even Zhu Yunhu had to call him Brother!’

’Holy fuck!’

’This was like kicking a plate of titanium steel!’

With a THUD, the spineless Zhu Chao dropped to his knees.

”Brother Yuan, I was blind and failed to recognize your greatness! I have offended you! Please don’t lower yourself to the level of a nobody like me! If you’ll just forgive me this once, I’m willing to be your dog! WOOF WOOF WOOF!~”

Cheng Yuan snorted coldly. ”Zhu Chao, I can’t afford to keep a dog like you. If you were the one with the upper hand, would you have let me go?”

Zhu Chao went limp and collapsed to the floor. If he had been the one with the advantage, he absolutely would have beaten Cheng Yuan until he was paralyzed from the waist down!

’He was finished.’

’Utterly and completely finished.’

The other young masters keenly spotted an opportunity to curry favor with Cheng Yuan and Zhu Yunhu. They charged forward like a pack of hungry wolves!

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

In the blink of an eye, Zhu Chao’s face was beaten into a swollen mess. He didn’t even have the strength left to beg for mercy.

Cheng Yuan waved his hand in disgust. ”Drag him out. Don’t ruin everyone’s appetite.”

”Yes, sir!”

The young masters scrambled to drag Zhu Chao out. Then they stood eagerly behind Zhu Yunhu, waiting for him to introduce them to Cheng Yuan.

Zhu Yunhu cleared his throat and addressed the young masters. ”Brothers, Brother Yuan is my own big brother. I respect him as I would an elder. What are you waiting for? Go and pay your respects to Brother Yuan!”

”Yes, sir!”

The young masters instantly plastered sycophantic smiles on their faces and eagerly scurried over to greet Cheng Yuan.

”Hello, Brother Yuan! I’m Duan Tian, you can just call me Little Tian.”

”Hello, Brother Yuan! I’m Lu Ping, you can just call me Xiaoping.”

...

Cheng Yuan gave the young masters a slight nod. ”Since you’re all friends of Yunhu, you’re friends of mine, Cheng Yuan. If any of you run into trouble in the future, don’t hesitate to let me know.”

”Brother Yuan is the man!”

”Brother Yuan is so magnanimous!”

”From this day on, Brother Yuan is our own big brother!”

The young masters toasted him wildly.

The expressions on Ji Yanjun’s and Li Bo’s faces were a sight to behold. Every single one of these young masters was an existence they couldn’t afford to offend, yet in front of Mr. Cheng, they were acting like his lackeys!

’Just who is this Mr. Cheng?’

Before this, they had actually tried to act tough in front of Mr. Cheng. They were simply asking to be humiliated.

The two of them put their attitudes in check and raised their glasses to Cheng Yuan with heartfelt admiration.

For a time, hosts and guests were all in high spirits.

The children ate and drank their fill before going back to rest, preparing for the second round of the exam tomorrow.

Cheng Yuan and the young masters drank until midnight, getting well-acquainted with one another.

When the young masters learned that Cheng Yuan was in the line of succession for both the Hu and Zhu Families, their jaws nearly dropped to the floor.

They finally understood why Zhu Yunhu was so respectful toward Cheng Yuan!

’What kind of astonishing talent did it take to be chosen for the line of succession of both the Hu and Zhu Families? To earn the favor of the Hu Family’s patriarch and have him personally arrange a marriage for you?’

「The night passed without incident.」

The second round of the exam proceeded as scheduled.

Yesterday, many parents had seen Cheng Qianqian turn in her test early.

People had even started a betting pool on whether Cheng Qianqian could pass the first round.

Most parents felt the test was too difficult and that Cheng Qianqian had simply given up in despair.

When the parents saw Cheng Qianqian, the crowd instantly erupted!

”Look! It’s the girl who turned her test in early yesterday! She passed the first round!”

”Oh my God! That girl is unreal! She turned it in twenty minutes early and still passed the first round?”

”It’s infuriating to compare! My boy finished at the very last second, didn’t even have time to check his work, and only just scraped past the cutoff score to make it to the second round. And then you look at her.”

Inside the Mercedes business van, at the strong insistence of Ji Yanjun, Li Bo, and the others, Cheng Yuan took the best seat.

Ji Yanjun eagerly bought two watermelons, cut them himself, and respectfully handed the first slice to Cheng Yuan.

”Mr. Cheng, have a slice of watermelon. I’m really so envious of you. Qianqian’s scores are so good, she’s a shoo-in for the national team trials! My Tingting will have to perform exceptionally just to have a chance.”

Li Bo smiled bitterly. ”My boy barely scraped through the first round. Even if he performs exceptionally, it’ll be a long shot for him to make the national team trials. I’m not holding out much hope! But Qianqian, on the other hand... she has a real shot at the gold medal!”
