The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 191: Chapter 191: Mr. Cheng is Sofitel’s New Owner

The General Manager’s Office.

Zhu Qishan frowned, his brow tightly furrowed.

Under normal circumstances, Zhu Qishan couldn’t be bothered to deal with Zhu Chao. But Zhu Chao was hosting Zhu Yunhu, and that was something he couldn’t afford to ignore.

Zhu Qishan was just trying to coast, waiting for Cheng Yuan to announce his identity so he could be transferred.

At this moment, what Zhu Qishan feared most were complications.

On top of that, Tan Jie had not only offended Zhu Yunhu, but Mr. Cheng as well. He really wanted nothing to do with Tan Jie.

Zhu Qishan suddenly regretted promoting a troublemaker like Tan Jie.

The man wouldn’t even let him leave in peace.

Zhu Qishan strode into the Duke’s Mansion and tore into Tan Jie. ”Tan Jie! Are you trying to stage a rebellion? Have you forgotten everything I’ve taught you? Can’t you even tell who you can and cannot afford to offend? This is your mess! Don’t you dare think I’m going to clean it up for you!”

Tan Jie’s face alternated between pale and flushed as he was being reprimanded, but he didn’t dare to talk back. After all, Zhu Qishan was the one who had single-handedly promoted him.

’Sigh, what an utter humiliation!’

Ji Yanjun, fiercely protective of his old classmate, saw that Tan Jie couldn’t speak up and quickly interjected, ”President Zhu, Director Tan isn’t the one causing trouble, it’s Cheng Yuan! He was just spouting bullshit, claiming he knows you and that you arranged the Number One Presidential Suite for him! He even had the gall to say that when you got here, you wouldn’t kick him out—you’d kick out Vice President Chu instead! It’s absolutely ridiculous!”

Cheng Yuan??

Hearing that name, Zhu Qishan’s heart skipped a beat.

Zhu Qishan looked in the direction Ji Yanjun was pointing and saw the grim-faced Cheng Yuan. A violent shudder ran through him.

As the General Manager of the Sofitel Hotel, Zhu Qishan was the only one present who knew the real story.

’The Hu and Zhu Families had scrambled over themselves to gift the Sofitel Hotel to Cheng Yuan. Just what kind of background did he have?’

Zhu Qishan didn’t dare to imagine.

But of one thing, Zhu Qishan was certain: in the entire Dongshan Province, Cheng Yuan could do whatever he wanted.

’These damn fools, they’ve actually offended Mr. Cheng!’

’They have a death wish!’

Zhu Qishan’s expression changed dramatically, and he strode toward Cheng Yuan.

Seeing the ’dark’ look on Zhu Qishan’s face, Zhu Chao felt completely reassured. He hurried to catch up, arriving in front of Cheng Yuan to yell, ”You, Cheng! Why don’t you keep up your bullshit! Didn’t you say Old Zhu would kick me out when he got here? Well, today I’d like to see just who gets kicked out...”

Before he could finish, Zhu Chao choked on his words. Beside him, Zhu Qishan had suddenly performed a deep, reverent bow toward Cheng Yuan. ”Mr. Cheng, I’m late! My apologies for the disturbance!”

Everyone was dumbfounded, their gazes shifting between Cheng Yuan and Zhu Qishan in utter confusion.

’What the hell is going on?’

Why was Zhu Qishan being so respectful to Cheng Yuan?

Tan Jie, especially, felt like his brain had turned to mush. President Zhu had just finished tearing him a new one, so why had he suddenly turned around and started bowing and scraping before this Cheng fellow?

”Old Zhu, you...”

Before Zhu Chao could voice his confusion, Zhu Qishan whirled around and roared, ”Zhu Chao! Do you have a death wish? How dare you offend Mr. Cheng! As of right now, you’re fired! Get the hell out! And never show your face in the Sofitel Hotel again!”

Huh?

Everyone was stunned, staring blankly at the furious Zhu Qishan, completely unable to comprehend what had triggered his thunderous rage.

Zhu Chao was so angry he started to laugh, pointing at Zhu Qishan’s nose. ”You, Zhu! Don’t get ahead of yourself! You think I don’t know? You’re about to be transferred! And even if you weren’t, firing a Vice President like me requires board approval! What right do you have to fire me?”

Zhu Qishan turned to Cheng Yuan, his gaze silently asking for permission to reveal his identity.

Cheng Yuan gave a slight nod.

Emboldened, Zhu Qishan turned to Zhu Chao with an air of absolute authority. ”Fine! Then I’ll tell you exactly what gives me the right! Zhu Chao, allow me to make a formal introduction. This gentleman, Mr. Cheng Yuan, is the new Chairman and majority shareholder of our Sofitel Hotel! You were trying to throw out our boss! So you tell me, do I have the right to fire you?”

SWISH!

Every head swiveled toward Cheng Yuan in unison. No one could believe what Zhu Qishan had just said.

Only Zhang Jing and Li Yankui showed looks of understanding. ’No wonder Mr. Cheng could stay in the Number One Presidential Suite,’ they thought. ’He’s the new owner of the Sofitel Hotel!’

Tan Jie nearly pissed himself. His legs were shaking uncontrollably.

’It’s over!’

’I’m completely finished!’

He had just tried to sabotage the new boss.

Cheng Qianqian asked in a daze, ”Brother, is what President Zhu said true? Are you the new owner of the Sofitel Hotel?”

”It’s true.”

Cheng Qianqian pouted. ”Then why didn’t you tell me sooner? You made me worry for nothing!”

”I was worried it would affect your mood and your performance on the exam. I planned on telling you after it was over.”

Cheng Qianqian laughed. ”Come on, bro, you don’t have faith in my composure? When did this happen? How come I didn’t hear anything about it?”

”Last night.”

Hearing the Cheng siblings’ conversation, the corner of everyone’s mouth twitched as their imaginations ran wild, filling in the gaps.

Ji Tingting and Li Xin shot Cheng Qianqian looks filled with envy, jealousy, and hate. Her brother was so incredible, so doting! To give his sister a better place to study and rest, he went and bought the multi-billion-dollar Sofitel Hotel!

Tan Jie knew he’d made a terrible impression on the new boss. ’I have to find a way to fix this,’ he thought, ’or I’ll definitely lose my job!’

Suddenly, Tan Jie roared, ”Iron Bull! What the hell is the security department doing, just standing around? I’m ordering you! Throw Zhu Chao out of here, now! From now on, if you see him, don’t hold back! Give him a ruthless beating!”

Iron Bull jumped, startled, then quickly complied. ”All security!” he bellowed. ”Throw Vice Pres—no, throw Zhu Chao out of here immediately! From now on, beat him on sight! Beat him ruthlessly!”

”Yes, sir!!”

The guards responded in unison and charged menacingly toward Zhu Chao.

Zhu Chao, however, had seen a thing or two. He quickly composed himself and shouted, ”My father is the second-largest shareholder of the Sofitel Hotel! I’d like to see any of you lay a hand on me!”

The guards were cowed. They stopped in their tracks and looked to Cheng Yuan for guidance. They needed a direct order from the new boss before they dared to touch Zhu Chao.

Cheng Yuan said coolly, ”What are you looking at me for? Throw him out.”

”Yes, sir!”

With Cheng Yuan’s order, the guards were finally put at ease. They turned back to Zhu Chao, their expressions full of malice.

Zhu Chao shouted, ”Don’t you touch me! I’ll leave on my own! You, Cheng, don’t think you’re hot shit just because you own the Sofitel Hotel! Brother Yunhu is on his way! He’s one of the top ten young masters in the Provincial City! A single stomp of his foot can make the entire Dongshan Province tremble! Are you sure you want to make an enemy of him?”
