The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 192: Chapter 192: Beating a Dog Depends on Its Master

Cheng Yuan couldn’t be bothered to speak and just waved his hand impatiently.

The security guards received their orders and rushed forward like a pack of wolves. They seized Zhu Chao, and amidst his angry shouts, they carried him out of the Duke’s Mansion.

Ji Yanjun’s worldview was utterly shattered. He couldn’t accept the scene unfolding before him!

He thought that by securing the Duke’s Mansion and booking Chef Klaus, he could show off in front of Cheng Yuan and regain all the face and prestige he’d lost!

But who would have thought that Cheng Yuan was the new owner of the Sofitel Hotel!

In Cheng Yuan’s eyes, what difference was there between his recent actions and those of a clown?

If a crack were to open in the ground right now, Ji Yanjun would have jumped into it without hesitation!

There was one person even more dismayed than Ji Yanjun, and that was Tan Jie.

Tan Jie was so full of regret he could have killed himself. He’d had a chance to get on the new owner’s good side, but he had completely missed it!

This was all Ji Yanjun’s fault!

It was all because Ji Yanjun was at odds with the new owner!

Otherwise, how could he have ended up offending the new owner?

However, Tan Jie couldn’t lash out at Ji Yanjun. Whether he could keep his job still depended on Ji Yanjun’s next move.

Tan Jie nudged the dazed Ji Yanjun’s arm and whispered, ”Old Ji, your daughter and Mr. Cheng’s sister are classmates. That’s a deep connection. Hurry up and smooth things over with him!”

Ji Yanjun’s face flushed crimson. ’Make him go and eat humble pie in front of Cheng Yuan?’

That would be worse than death!

But Ji Yanjun had no choice. If they were kicked out, it would definitely upset his daughter and affect her performance in the second audition.

Ji Yanjun shuffled hesitantly over to Cheng Yuan and stammered, ”Mr. Cheng, it was I who was blind and failed to recognize a great figure like yourself. I’ve caused much offense. Please, don’t hold it against a man of my low stature.”

Cheng Yuan looked at Ji Yanjun with a mocking half-smile. ”President Ji, didn’t you just say you didn’t know me? Weren’t you on your way to the Starry Sky Private Room?”

Ji Yanjun’s face turned beet red with suppressed humiliation. He desperately wanted to just turn and leave, but he knew that if he scurried away in disgrace, his daughter would surely be affected. For her sake, he had to endure this.

”Mr. Cheng, this is all my fault. The children are innocent. I can leave, but please, allow Tingting to stay for the celebration banquet.”

Cheng Yuan raised an eyebrow. He hadn’t expected Ji Yanjun to be willing to take all the blame for his daughter’s sake.

Cheng Yuan didn’t want to put Cheng Qianqian in an awkward position with her classmates either. He gave a dismissive wave. ”President Ji, for the sake of you being a good father, take a seat.”

”Yes, yes.”

Ji Yanjun was so overcome with joy he could have cried. He quickly sat down, secretly vowing that from now on, he would become the most dedicated bootlicker Mr. Cheng had ever seen!

’After returning to Luocheng,’ he thought, ’I must tell my daughter to get on good terms with Cheng Qianqian, no matter what.’

Seeing Cheng Yuan let Ji Yanjun off so easily gave Tan Jie a sliver of hope. He cautiously approached and very attentively poured tea for Cheng Yuan.

”I’ve never met a boss as magnanimous as Chairman Cheng! From now on, I am your loyal soldier! I will strike wherever you point!”

Cheng Yuan gave Tan Jie a cold look. ”Sorry, but I can’t afford a soldier like you, Director Tan. Go to finance, collect your final paycheck, and get out.”

THUD. Tan Jie dropped to his knees before Cheng Yuan and begged, ”Chairman Cheng, I really didn’t know it was you! If I had known, I would never have dared to disrespect you! I beg you, for Old Ji’s sake, please give me one more chance!”

This scene caused Ji Yanjun to lose even more face. He covered his face with his hands, unable to bear watching.

Cheng Yuan glanced coolly at Tan Jie. ”You still don’t even know what you did wrong. How can I give you a chance? Was your mistake not recognizing me? No. Your mistake was letting your personal feelings endanger the hotel’s interests! Was the Sofitel Hotel really out of suites?”

THUD. Tan Jie collapsed to the floor. He knew it was over. He was completely finished. The new owner would absolutely not let him off!

”You there, Iron Bull, right? Get Director Tan out of here immediately!”

At Cheng Yuan’s command, Iron Bull charged forward like a beast, grabbed Tan Jie by the collar, and dragged him out.

Ji Yanjun sat there like a frightened quail, wishing he could hide his head under the table. He didn’t dare utter a single word to plead for Tan Jie.

Li Bo, who was standing to the side, was also in an awkward predicament. He didn’t know whether he should stay or go.

For his son’s sake, Li Bo had to speak up. ”Mr. Cheng, Li Xin and I...”

Cheng Yuan smiled faintly. ”Why are you asking me, Chief Li? If you want to stay, then stay. If you want to go to the Starry Sky Private Room, I have no objection.”

”The Starry Sky Private Room? Why would we go there? Of course, we’re staying! Today is the children’s celebration banquet! The kids absolutely shouldn’t be separated!”

With that, Li Bo pulled Li Xin down to sit at the table.

...

Eager to impress their new boss, the security guards threw Zhu Chao directly out the main entrance of the hotel!

The surrounding crowd immediately began to point and whisper.

”What’s with that guy? He got thrown out by security?”

”Probably tried to dine and dash?”

”Look at his clothes, they’re all designer brands. It couldn’t be for dining and dashing. Maybe he was harassing a waitress inside?”

”That’s very possible! He’s got a shifty look about him!”

”Pah! Disgusting!”

...

When had Zhu Chao ever been so humiliated? He hated Cheng Yuan with a passion!

’That bastard. Does he really think he’s hot shit just because he’s the new owner? Does he really think owning a hotel means he can disrespect Brother Yunhu?’

’You, Cheng, just you wait! You’re dead!’

Just as Zhu Chao was seething with rage, several modified, top-of-the-line luxury cars let out an ear-piercing ROAR as they sped into the Sofitel Hotel’s parking lot.

A few young men with extraordinary auras stepped out of the cars.

The one surrounded in the middle was none other than today’s main event, Zhu Yunhu.

Those beside Zhu Yunhu were all his friends. At the very least, they hailed from powerful second-tier families, but the vast majority were scions of first-tier families.

Zhu Chao quickly hurried over, bowing and scraping before the young masters. ”Hello, Brother Yunhu! Hello, big brothers!”

Zhu Chao’s status was too low; Zhu Yunhu didn’t know him at all. He asked coolly, ”Who are you?”

Duan Tian, who was at his side, quickly made an introduction. ”Brother Hu, this is Zhu Chao. His father is the second-largest shareholder of the Sofitel Hotel.”

Zhu Yunhu merely lifted his eyelids, slightly annoyed. ’Why is Duan Tian introducing such an insignificant character to him?’

Sensing Zhu Yunhu’s displeasure, Duan Tian couldn’t help but frown and scold, ”Xiaochao, why do you look so pathetic? Are you trying to make me look bad in front of Brother Hu? Is the banquet arranged?”

Zhu Chao immediately started airing his grievances. ”It was all arranged, but the new owner of the Sofitel took the best private room, the Duke’s Mansion, and even commandeered Chef Klaus! I tried everything to reason with him, but not only did the new owner refuse to listen, he had security throw me out! It’s nothing that he hit me, but even when you beat a dog, you have to consider its master! He’s showing you no respect, Brother Yunhu! Brother Yunhu, you have to stand up for me!”

Only the elders of the Hu and Zhu Families knew that Cheng Yuan had destroyed the Wang Family. Among the younger generation, only Hu Shishi was aware, as she was, after all, Cheng Yuan’s nominal ’fiancée.’

Zhu Yunhu, unaware that Cheng Yuan was the new owner of the Sofitel Hotel, felt his expression darken. ’A mere hotel owner dares to disrespect him?’

Heh...

”Let’s go! I want to see for myself just who this supposedly great new owner is!”

Zhu Chao was ecstatic. ’You, Cheng, weren’t you so arrogant? Now that you’ve provoked Brother Yunhu, you’re dead meat!’
