Supreme Warrior in the City

The Jade-faced Judge and his party finally chose a secluded manor to settle in, a place that was one of the Jade-faced Judge’s secret hideouts.

The Second Elder was severely injured. Although the Jade-faced Judge gave him elixir pills, which helped him recover a lot, he was still very weary upon arrival and went to rest first.

After assisting the Second Elder to his quarters, Ge Kaiyang hurriedly ran to the Jade-faced Judge’s study.

The Jade-faced Judge was sitting in the study, his expression calm as he looked at Ge Kaiyang entering and softly asked, ”How is it?”

”He’s already resting!” Ge Kaiyang leaned close to the Jade-faced Judge and whispered, ”Grandfather, he insists on killing Su Yang before he will hide away. I’ve tried to persuade him several times, but it’s no use. What should we do now?”

”Then we should just kill Su Yang!” the Jade-faced Judge replied slowly.

”Ah?” Ge Kaiyang was taken aback, quickly responding, ”But killing Su Yang isn’t that simple. This surnamed Su is incredibly cunning; he must be hiding inside a space artifact. Finding him would be very difficult for us. Moreover, his strength is not weak now, and we have very few people who can kill him from our side. Under such circumstances, we cannot disperse to search for him; only a few experts can lead the team to find him, which makes the probability of killing him even lower!”

The Jade-faced Judge gently chuckled and said, ”What’s so difficult about that? I can use my Phantom Soul on him, and within a month, as long as he’s in this space, regardless of where he runs, we can find him. Finding him is not difficult at all!”

Ge Kaiyang’s eyes lit up with excitement as he said, ”Right, I forgot about that. Using Phantom Tracking against him is most suitable. No matter where he runs, we can find him. He won’t be able to escape unless he hides inside that space artifact for his whole life!”

At this point, Ge Kaiyang suddenly remembered something, frowned, and said, ”But, Grandfather, to use Phantom Tracking against him, we must first find him and apply the Phantom Soul to him. However, we don’t have much Phantom Soul left; it’s not enough to spread among so many people!”

”Why is there a need to disperse?” the Jade-faced Judge countered.

”Uh...” Ge Kaiyang hesitated, ”This... this surnamed Su doesn’t know where he will appear. We need to send out a large number of people to find him. Since that’s the case, we definitely have to deploy many people and spread our net wide to have any chance of finding him!”

”Hehe...” the Jade-faced Judge chuckled lightly, ”It’s not necessary to complicate things. We just need to know where he’s going next!”

”Hmm?” Ge Kaiyang looked at the Jade-faced Judge in surprise, not understanding his meaning.

”Next, Su Yang will certainly go to the Capital City, and be near the Zhang Family of the Martial Champion!” the Jade-faced Judge said, ”We just need to station people there and ambush him, and apply the Phantom Soul to him!”

”Why?” Ge Kaiyang asked in surprise, ”Is he going to find the Martial Champion?”

”It’s not that he’s going to find the Martial Champion; it’s Qi Zhishan who’s going to find the Martial Champion!” the Jade-faced Judge said, ”Qi Zhishan’s Nine Dragon Technique has upgraded to the Dragon God Technique. He’s surely going to the Capital City to test it out and see if he can defeat the Martial Champion. These people never willingly give up. And Su Yang has a good relationship with Qi Zhishan, he’s sure to go to the Capital City to watch the fight. So we only need to go to the Zhang Family to find him!”

”In that case, why don’t we send more people there and directly kill him?” Ge Kaiyang said excitedly, ”Then Su Yang will die, and the Second Elder’s matter can be resolved, and he will immediately take us to the Boundary Point!”

”No!” The Jade-faced Judge shook his head decisively, ”Although the Martial Champion usually does not involve himself in worldly affairs, the area near the Zhang Family is still his territory. Killing someone under his nose, he won’t ignore it. Plus, with Qi Zhishan involved, attacking Su Yang there will likely lead to both the Martial Champion and Qi Zhishan intervening!”

Ge Kaiyang’s expression changed, and thinking about the scenario of these two experts taking action together sent a shiver through his heart. Such a situation, even the Jade-faced Judge himself wouldn’t dare to be so reckless.

So Ge Kaiyang immediately dismissed the idea. The thought of angering both the Martial Champion and Qi Zhishan was terrifying!

”I’ll arrange personnel to keep an eye near the Zhang Family.” Ge Kaiyang immediately said, ”As soon as Su Yang appears, we’ll immediately apply the Phantom Soul to him. Then, no matter where he runs, he won’t escape!”

”Remember, deploy some of Su Yang’s enemies, so they won’t be suspicious.” the Jade-faced Judge said softly, ”Also, spread some news to say the Second Elder has been saved by us and is very safe. Using the Second Elder’s name, summon everyone from the Heavenly Court to attack the traitors from Lingxiao Pavilion and the ends of the world. Additionally, send a message to Heaven to apologize in the Second Elder’s name and request negotiations. As long as they stand by and don’t interfere, once this matter is over, we’ll hand Su Yang over to them entirely for their disposal!”

Ge Kaiyang was dumbfounded, ”Grandfather, why are we doing so many things? It’s clear now, once Su Yang is killed, the Second Elder will take us to find the Boundary Point, our grand endeavor will be accomplished, why bother with other matters?”

”Us hiding with the Second Elder and not spreading any news will arouse suspicion.” the Jade-faced Judge said softly, ”Some have already started doubting our intentions, they must not continue to suspect. Let Sky Blade Peak and Lingxiao Pavilion, the ends of the earth, start a war, and Heaven watch closely from the side, stir up the waters completely, makes it convenient for us to act. Remember, when chaos reigns over the world, no one will pay attention to what we are actually doing!”

Ge Kaiyang suddenly realized, nodding repeatedly, ”Grandfather, you’re thorough in your considerations, I’ll go and make arrangements right away!”

The Jade-faced Judge said, ”Also, get someone to contact the Peak Master of Sky Blade Peak and spread the previous incident where people from the ends of the earth harmed Sky Blade Peak cultivators, let them thoroughly hate the ends of the earth, and they won’t ally with them!”

”Understood!” Ge Kaiyang laughed, ”I’ll definitely stir things up, instigate a war between them, and ensure they have no chance of joining forces!”

The Jade-faced Judge nodded calmly, watched as Ge Kaiyang walked out, stood up, hands behind his back, and strolled slowly to the window.

The sun was setting, night gradually enveloped, and a pinch of darkness over the horizon seemed to slowly consume the light of the world entirely.

As he looked at the increasingly darkening sky outside, the Jade-faced Judge’s lips finally bore a trace of a smile.

”Darkness arrives, light recedes. A thousand years of hibernation, it’s finally the time for results. Hopefully, this time, everything goes smoothly!”
