Unlimited Top-ups, the Most Lavish Pay-to-win Live Streams Ever

26: Chapter 26 Clearance Sale of Miscellaneous Items”Then I’ll see you later at the Kingdom Army Training Grounds.”

After bidding farewell to Prince Carlson, Fu Hao turned and headed toward the commercial district in the center of the Royal City—he needed to prepare funds to bribe the soldiers.

The 300,000 gold coins currently in his account were obtained by clearing out his items before the account reset, which converted to about 150,000 in real-world currency. Although it was a substantial amount, he knew full well it wouldn’t be nearly enough to bribe 99 NPC soldiers.

- ”Bribing NPCs? That’s such a novel idea!”

- ”Just throw money at them, Fu Hao!”

- ”Can NPCs really be bribed?”

- ”Why isn’t he going to the Exchange?”

[ ”Kus” tipped 50 yuan: — (Wouldn’t it be easier to just go to the currency exchange and buy gold coins?) ]

In the otherworld, players could list gold coins on the Exchange for other players to purchase with crystals. This method was safe and fast, but the exchange rate was low, so more people preferred direct trading between players.

The audience found his approach of solving missions with money fascinating, but a few were puzzled by his decision to bypass the Exchange and head straight to a shop—top-tier pay-to-win players like Pegasus usually exchanged gold directly at the Exchange, while ordinary players relied more on player-to-player trading.

However, due to permission restrictions on Fu Hao’s account, he couldn’t perform any player-to-player trading and had to rely on the only available channel—selling pay-to-win items to NPC merchants in exchange for gold coins.

Originally, he wanted to prepare the funds quietly, but since he was live-streaming, he might as well show the process of organizing his inventory—besides, it wouldn’t be appropriate to interrupt the stream halfway through the bribery process.

”The Exchange is convenient, but I might as well take the opportunity to organize my inventory. I’ve opened too many loot boxes, and things are a total mess.”

[ ”Jin Hao” tipped 50 yuan: — (Isn’t it more cost-effective to sell to players?) ]

Having his sore spot poked, Fu Hao feigned composure: ”Selling to players is too much trouble. If a crowd of spectators swarmed me, I wouldn’t be able to handle it.”

- ”Truly a tycoon’s style.”

- ”Throwing away hundreds of millions of gold coins just to keep the stream lively.”

- ”He’d rather let the NPCs get a bargain than let other players take advantage.”

[ ”Lala” tipped 50 yuan: — (A tycoon’s time is worth more than money.) ]

Speeding up his pace, he quickly found a general store in the commercial district that bought back almost any item. Pushing open the door, he was greeted by the crisp sound of a doorbell and the enthusiastic welcome of the NPC clerk behind the counter: ”Welcome.”

There were a few players browsing in the shop, but no one recognized him—although Fu Hao had stirred up a whirlwind of discussion in the community and on streaming platforms, a large number of players were still immersed in the game world, completely unaware of his existence.

Even if they had heard of him, it was hard to connect his ”newbie outfit” with the ”legendary pay-to-win streamer.”

[ ”Jin Hao” tipped 50 yuan: — (Fu Hao, you need to keep working hard.) ]

- ”Fewer people recognized him than expected.”

- ”There are too many players, that’s normal.”

- ”The newbie outfit is too generic, who would recognize him?”

Fu Hao ignored the goods on the shelves and walked straight to the counter.

”Hello, I’d like to sell some items. Do you buy back all types?”

”We do, but we don’t accept items that are too expensive or have no value, and items that are difficult to handle will be valued below market price.”

Fu Hao took out the items he had obtained from the newbie loot boxes—a total of 117 types. They filled half the shop’s floor, leaving the clerk and surrounding players stunned.

”Hey, look over there!”

”What?”

”Is he selling items? That’s way too many...”

”Wait, those look like pay-to-win items, right?”

”But he’s wearing newbie gear, what’s going on?”

The whispers were clearly transmitted to the live stream:

- ”Look at the shocked expressions on these players, hahahaha.”

- ”The clerk can’t even keep up the act anymore.”

Fu Hao calmly spoke: ”Please give me an estimate.”

”...Alright, please wait a moment!”

A moment later, the clerk handed him a note with unit prices, and at the same time, a notification popped up on his game interface:

50 Gold Coins

140 Gold Coins

9,500 Gold Coins

...

- ”Holy crap.”

- ”This isn’t buying, it’s robbery, right?”

- ”Sell to me, sell to me! I’ll take them all!”

The clerk continued: ”As for the remaining exclusive monster grinding zone entry tickets and 32 types of worthless items that couldn’t be valued, we cannot purchase them, sorry.”

Fu Hao had originally hoped to sell the exclusive entry tickets for a high price; it seemed the setting of free trading also had limitations when dealing with NPCs.

He quickly made a rough calculation—each newbie loot box sold for 500 crystals, equivalent to 1,000 gold coins, but the average selling price was only 305 gold coins.

”Sell everything except the ones you can’t purchase.”

”Alright, the total price is—”

”Wait, I’m not done taking them out yet.”

”Huh?”

A question mark icon appeared above the heads of the clerk and several players. Fu Hao scanned the shop: ”Do you have a warehouse? Somewhere more spacious?”

”We do have a warehouse, but...”

The clerk, looking confused, led him to the large warehouse in the back. Fu Hao nodded in satisfaction: ”This is big enough. I’ll take them out by category, and please provide estimates for them as we go.”

”Huh? Are you going to—”

Before he could finish, Fu Hao started pulling out items—1,207 Level 10 Adventurer Equipment Sets, piling up in a corner of the warehouse in one go.

”A total of 1,207. Please count them carefully.”

”...Alright.”

The clerk swallowed hard, looking at the mountain of equipment. Fu Hao caught a glimpse of the crowd of players gathering at the entrance: ”They’re crazy.”

”Is that a player?”

”Could it be an alt account of some big shot?”

”No one would believe this if we told them!”

”We have to record a video as proof!”

The players chattered away, completely unaware that their voices were being broadcast live:

- ”Audience check-in - Achievement ’Ordinary Player Shocked Scene #1’ unlocked!”

The total number of items to be sold was about 150,000, plus the 200,000 remaining loot boxes from when he rushed to Level 100 and trained ”Little Jin,” creating a serious backlog.

”Clearing out clutter is also manual labor...”

After exhausting himself pulling everything out of his inventory, Fu Hao sighed. The onlookers were dumbfounded, having even forgotten how to say the word ”shocked.”

Finally, the accounts were settled, and the clerk respectfully handed over the statistics: ”Sorry for the wait, the total purchase price is 61,052,007 gold coins. Please confirm if you wish to sell?”

”Confirmed.”

The moment the transaction was completed, notifications popped up in succession:

[Obtained 61,052,007 Gold Coins via trade]

[Achievement Unlocked: ”Single Transaction of Over 100,000 Items (Excluding Special Items)”]

[Obtained Title: ”Great Merchant”]

[Achievement Unlocked: ”Possess Ten Million Gold Coins”]

[Obtained Title: ”Wealthy Tycoon”]

”Wealthy Tycoon” had long been exposed in the community, which Fu Hao had expected, but ”Great Merchant” was obtained for the first time.

- ”He only just got ’Wealthy Tycoon’ now?”

- ”What’s the new title ’Great Merchant’?”

- ”First public acquisition!”

Before the barrage could ask, Fu Hao proactively opened the title information to display:

- When performing a bulk transaction of over 10,000 items with an NPC, the final transaction amount is increased by an additional 10%.

- Activates Skill [Market Analysis]

Type: Active

Grade: Heroic

Lv.1

Cost: 1000 Mana

- Analyzes the average market price of the other party’s past transactions.

- Initial affinity with merchant NPCs is ”Friendly.”

- Chance to receive NPC investment quests.

- Activates Skill [Money Toss]

Lv.1

Although ”Great Merchant” was a newly revealed title, the reaction in the barrage was flatter than expected. However, Fu Hao’s gaze was firmly fixed on the skill [Market Analysis].

”Market Analysis... This skill should be useful.”

- ”Are you changing careers to become a merchant?”

Fu Hao responded with a smile: ”The description is too vague. Let’s try it out and see.”

”This is the list organized by priority.”

Prince Carlson handed him the list of soldiers, ”Do you want to refer to their training scores?”

”No need. Your Highness’s judgment is naturally unique; I’m only responsible for the ’transaction.’”

”You’re that confident? If you fail and the news leaks, it won’t end well.”

”Don’t worry.”

Although he didn’t know how much money the Second Prince and Third Prince spent bribing the soldiers, he was very clear about one thing—joining the First Prince’s faction meant earning double the money; the soldiers might not refuse.

”Candidate Number 1, please come in—”

He flashed a friendly smile and extended an invitation to the first target of his bribery.
