9: Chapter 9: No Damage Explosion[Entering the second major area.]

Before he could even catch his breath, Fu Hao had already darted into the next battlefield like an arrow released from a bow, his reaction time a beat faster than most of the audience.

[’Trial Maniac’ donated 50 Yuan — (Second segment map traversal: 12 seconds. Combat: 5 seconds.)]

- ”Huh?”

- ”5 seconds?”

- ”???”

- ”Am I watching the beginner zone?”

- ”No way, who even plays this game...”

The fourth-ranked player, ”Richie,” a verified top-ten expert, had a clear time for the first combat zone of 7 minutes and 47 seconds.

Yet Fu Hao only took 5 seconds.

[’Class’ donated 50 Yuan — (Leonhardt is about to step down~~~~!)]

Never mind the average players; even the chat, which was ninety percent Leonhardt fans, was left speechless by this sudden, crushing dominance.

Fu Hao didn’t stop for a second.

Second zone, third zone, fourth zone...

Invincibility + Stun + Execute

Every battle was like a copy-paste job; one hit, one kill, clean and efficient.

[The gate to the fifth major area opens]

[’Trial Maniac’ donated 50 Yuan — (Zone 13 cleared in 47 seconds. Combat: 33 seconds.)]

The official community was buzzing at this moment:

- [Breaking News] Fu Hao clears Zone 13 in just 11 minutes and 07 seconds (+7658 comments)

- [Is Leonhardt watching Fu Hao’s stream right now? Hahaha]

- [What’s your prediction for Fu Hao’s total time?] (+1446 comments)

- [Begging for Fu Hao’s character creation data]

- [Who even is Fu Hao? Is he an anime character?]

- [Is the +10 enhancement a system bug? Didn’t they say this isn’t a pay-to-win game?]

- [Does anyone know what Fu Hao does in real life?]

- [The Zone 15 traps are here; he can’t rely on gear for this part]

- [Finally reached the section that requires ’reflexes and brains’]

- [Leonhardt, if I were you, I’d already be pulling my hair out]

As the official community feed was flooded with discussions about Fu Hao, more and more people flocked to his livestream.

[Livestream viewer count: 103,002]

- ”100,000! 100,000 viewers!”

- ”Second day of streaming, and he’s already taking off!”

- ”If he were streaming on a mainstream platform, he’d be trending already”

- ”Aiming for 200,000 is no problem!”

- ”Starting with a beginner account and getting 100,000 viewers, is that even reasonable?”

[’Sweet Candy’ donated 50 Yuan — (Brother Hao, your livestream just broke 100,000 viewers!)]

Because he had been focused on clearing the dungeon, Fu Hao had barely responded to any donations.

Right now, he was passing through a relatively flat, obstacle-free section, so he took the time to respond briefly.

”Thanks for the donations, everyone. Welcome to the new viewers; if you like my content, please hit that follow button!”

The chat immediately flooded the screen:

- ”Take your time, hahaha”

- ”Stop talking and go kill monsters!”

- ”Brother Hao, can you just focus on the dungeon?”

- ”This part requires total concentration, don’t get distracted!”

- ”Go for the record now, otherwise it’ll be easy to get overtaken later”

- ”Unless Leonhardt deletes his account, starts over, and upgrades his beginner sword to +10, no one is breaking this record”

Fu Hao pushed into the sixth major area, drank a stamina potion, and went straight in.

[Entering the sixth major area]

[Please clear all traps]

The map changed, and three traps were laid out neatly in front of him.

Seeing this, the chat went wild.

- ”Can’t trigger invincibility if there are no monsters, right?”

- ”Mr. Pay-to-Win, welcome to the suffering of mortals”

- ”Whether he can break the record now depends entirely on his skills”

- ”Finally going to see you crash and burn, haha”

- First trap: Moving Trap

The ground is divided into a 10x10 grid that refreshes every round with a 5-second cycle. Only 20 squares are ”safe zones”; stepping on any others results in instant death.

Players must move at least one square per round; they cannot wait for a refresh in place. They must rely on reaction and memory to determine the path, a trial that is a classic test of both skill and intellect.

- ”How did Leonhardt break the record with blind strikes back then?”

- ”Please stop comparing him to the god”

[’Leonhart Forever God’ donated 50 Yuan — (If you clear this section in under 2 minutes, I’ll change my name to Brother Hao Forever God)]

- ”The shortest record is 2 minutes and 40 seconds. What are you talking about?”

- ”Internet mad dog, stop setting flags for yourself”

- ”Dig up the old chat messages taunting Brother Hao and see who you guys are”

- ”Guys, let’s give him a social death today”

With no time to respond, Fu Hao stepped into the trap zone with steady, familiar movements.

— He had indeed played it once two years ago, but that was no longer important.

He had already reviewed all the trap mechanics, rhythm changes, and optimal paths beforehand.

”In the first round, he swiftly cut diagonally across four squares to the southeast, his footsteps precise to the millimeter; by the time the second round hadn’t even finished refreshing, he had already determined the direction of the next safe zone, his figure moving like the wind; by the third round, he stepped out of the falling square almost at the very last second; in the fourth round, he stood in the center of the grid — a position that was theoretically ’waiting for death’.”

The chat was dumbfounded:

- ”???”

- ”Why are you standing there?”

- ”Those are death squares in the next two rounds, did you walk the wrong way?”

- ”It’s over, he walked into a pit this time...”

The result? Fu Hao crossed the line with 0.2 seconds to spare, reaching the finish point.

[First trap cleared]

- ”?????”

- ”Isn’t that movement speed unreasonable?”

- ”He can pass even this? That face-slap came too fast”

[’Trial Maniac’ donated 50 Yuan — (Zone 15-1 cleared in 22 seconds)]

[’Leonhart Forever God’ donated 50 Yuan — (... I was wrong)]

- ”Go change your ID, don’t be stubborn”

- ”You’re not a Leonhardt fan anymore, now you’re a Brother Hao fan”

- ”I suggest you don’t change your ID, because Brother Hao would feel embarrassed”

- Second trap: Reaction Test

Three consecutive stone wall ambushes + intermittent cutters.

It’s considered ’child’s play’.

To Fu Hao, it was nothing but ’child’s play’. He dodged and passed through it without even pausing.

[’Trial Maniac’ donated 50 Yuan — (Zone 15-2 cleared in 36 seconds)]

- Third trap: Ultimate Challenge · Narrow Bridge Arrow Rain

After sprinting continuously for over ten minutes, Fu Hao stopped for the first time before the last trap to catch his breath.

This was the culprit that had prevented anyone from achieving a ’No-Damage Clear’ record.

A 150-meter-long single-plank bridge hung over an abyss. Every few seconds, an arrow would shoot straight at him. He had to use the ’Block’ skill at the most accurate moment, also known as a ’Perfect Parry’, to avoid damage.

The closer he got to the finish, the shorter the interval between arrows — the last arrow had an interval of only 0.8 seconds.

He currently had a 25% movement speed and 10% attack speed bonus, so theoretically, it was possible to pass through the trap without being hit.

But theory and practice are completely different; he had to perfectly parry all shots without slowing down.

What Fu Hao held was the most ordinary beginner sword.

But he had once been a ”Knight-class profession”; Block was one of his most proficient skills.

He took a deep breath, started running, his whole body tense, his concentration focused to the extreme.

First arrow. 60 meters. Block successful.

Second arrow. 105 meters. Block successful.

Third arrow. 125 meters. Block successful.

Fourth arrow. Success.

By the last arrow, the firing interval was compressed to the limit, the arrow speed nearly impossible to capture with the naked eye.

But Fu Hao closed his eyes; he wasn’t relying on vision, but on rhythm, timing, and muscle memory.

— Clack.

[You have cleared all traps]

[Entering the final area]

At this moment, the livestream was silent for a full three seconds.

Then —

- ”?????” × 999

- ”Holy crap!!!” × 999

- ”A No-Damage Clear actually happened???”

- ”Leonhardt: ... I surrender”

- ”From today on, I believe in Brother Hao”
