5: Chapter 5: The First +10 Enhanced Sword in HistoryJust a few days before the premiere broadcast—

”Status Bar.”

Fu Hao whispered, skillfully pulling up his character information interface.

---

Character Name: Fu Hao

Level: 1

Class: None

Title: [The Luckiest Man in the otherworld]

HP: 200 / 200

MP: 50 / 50

STR / AGI / INT / CON: 5 / 5 / 5 / 5

---

The character he had painstakingly cultivated for two years had been reset to zero with a single click, turning him into a complete level 1 newbie.

The only thing that remained was that title—which looked like a joke from a GM.

[The Luckiest Man in the otherworld]

Starting with the word ”The,” it was most likely a unique, rare title. And such titles in the otherworld almost always came with game-breaking effects.

He suppressed the agitation of his racing heart and clicked on the title details:

---

[The Luckiest Man in the otherworld]

- All drop rates +777%

- Acquired active skill [Fates Luck]

---

”... Huh?”

He had originally expected it to increase stats or provide Skill Enhancement, but it turned out to be a total drop rate bonus.

A 777% drop rate—although it sounded absurd, under the ”Untradable” mechanic, no matter how much dropped, it couldn’t be monetized.

However, a flash of inspiration struck him—

”What if I form a party and let someone else pick it up?”

In the game’s party system, there was a setting called ”Party Leader Exclusive Drops.”

If someone else served as the party leader, the high drop rate would still be his, but the ownership of the dropped items could go to others. As long as that person was willing to help trade it back, perhaps he could break the ”Untradable” restriction?

”I can test this later.”

Even without relying on teammates to pick things up, under this setting where all materials had to be ”self-sufficient,” a 777% drop rate was almost equivalent to infinite resources.

”This title is enough for me to become a legend.”

Next was the skill—[Fates Luck].

---

[Fates Luck]

- Active skill

- Cooldown: 7 days

- Effect: Designate a probability and make its current trigger rate 100%. (Limited to one-time probability events)

---

”... What kind of setting is this?”

Locking any one-time probability event directly to 100%?

”This skill... if it could be used on enhancement...”

Fu Hao immediately experimented with it, binding it to ”Critical Hit Rate.”

[Do you want to set: Next attack will definitely be a critical hit?]

A confirmation window actually popped up.

However, he quickly canceled the binding.

”A 7-day cooldown for just one critical hit... too wasteful, better not.”

This kind of skill should be saved for the most critical moments—like enhancement.

He happened to be preparing for an enhancement livestream show right now.

”Perfect, I’ll do something big for today’s broadcast.”

He took out the prepared enhancement stones specialized for the +5 to +10 range from his inventory:

---

[Lower-Grade Enhancement Stone]

- Can only be used on +5 to +9 equipment

- Low success rate

- On success, 1% chance for +2, 0.1% chance for +3

- Failure: 50% chance of destruction, 50% chance of dropping back to +5

---

”I heard before that the highest enhancement on the entire server was only +9, and that was a piece of armor.”

”Weapons are at most +8, never heard of a +10 success.”

If he wanted to refresh the enhancement history, it would require ”cheat-level luck.”

But Fu Hao didn’t want to wait. He wanted to create a famous scene on his premiere night.

—Use [Fates Luck].

—Target: Trigger the 0.1% chance for a +3 enhancement.

”Today—I will hammer out a +10 right under everyone’s eyes.”

---

**After 7 hours of enhancement livestreaming**

Fu Hao was still hammering away non-stop.

A player had compiled the ”Enhancement History” in the community:

- 1st attempt: 25 minutes, exploded after +5

- 2nd attempt: 40 minutes, exploded after +6

- 3rd attempt: 1 hour 10 minutes, exploded after +5

...

- 19th attempt: 6 hours 30 minutes, exploded after +5

-...

A total of 19 consecutive explosions.

Summary: 16 times exploded after +5, 3 times struggled to +6 but still shattered.

The success rate was so low, it was comparable to hell mode.

The comment section called this broadcast ”a head-on collision between human willpower and the system’s mechanics.”

But the terrifying thing about this broadcast was: nobody left.

---

The chat never stopped:

- ”+7 is the hellish threshold...”

- ”He’s burned at least four million by now.”

- ”Finally know why nobody touches Enhancement Stones.”

- ”Laughing to death, if it were me I would have uninstalled long ago.”

- ”Hang in there until +7, please succeed.”

---

Finally, the 20th sword, at the 7th hour, reached the critical node.

[Enhancement Successful, +5 → +7]

- ”Holy crap! It’s +7, stop now!”

- ”Here it comes, it’s going to explode!”

- ”Next hammer is guaranteed to drop back to +5!”

- ”I hope it explodes, not succeeds!”

Fu Hao did not respond to the chat. He secretly activated the skill off-camera:

[Fates Luck in effect: After enhancement success, must be +3]

He hammered down.

[Enhancement Successful, +10]

[You are the first player on the entire server to achieve +10 enhancement!]

[Acquired Title: 《Ten-Star Being》]

[Activated hidden class transfer condition: Complete +10 enhancement while un-transferred]

[Do you want to transfer to: Enhancement Master?]

—The livestream room exploded.

A torrent of chat messages swept through:

- ”???” × 999

- ”+10 success??? Is this for real???”

- ”Did this streamer use a cheat?!”

- ”Damn, damn, damn”

> [[Audience count: 31,214]]

---

Fu Hao grinned, looking at the chat, muttering to himself:

”This is just the beginning.”
