Unlimited Top-ups, the Most Lavish Pay-to-win Live Streams Ever

7: Chapter 7 Speedrun ChallengeIn ”otherworld”, dungeons are divided into two types.

One is the ”Normal Dungeon”.

The other is the ”Trial Dungeon”.

Normal Dungeons appear randomly in corners of the map.

Each time they open, only one party is allowed to enter, and once cleared, the dungeon disappears.

Because their drop rates are higher than wild leveling zones and they offer richer experience, they are often seen by players as a pleasant surprise.

Precisely because of this, scenes of contention often play out in front of these dungeons:

Players who discover a dungeon might block the entrance waiting for their teammates to arrive, or simply sell the coordinates for a high price. Buyers flock to the scene, and the slightest dispute often leads to drawing blades, making PVP inevitable.

By comparison, the other type—the ”Trial Dungeon”—has a much milder atmosphere.

This type of dungeon has no limit on the number of entries; any player can challenge it freely, and clearing it does not cause the dungeon to close.

However, the threshold for entry is not low.

The system often sets various restrictive conditions, such as minimum level requirements, gear scores, and even specific ”Trait Compatibility” evaluation mechanisms unique to certain dungeons.

Furthermore, when completing certain Trial Dungeons, if a player breaks the server-wide fastest clear record, they will receive a unique title exclusive to that one person—

It is not the kind of commemorative badge that ”everyone gets,” but a truly ”limited to one” title, belonging only to that fastest clearer.

And among all Trial Dungeons, the most famous one is none other than the ”Beginners Trial”.

No matter which starter village a player is born in, the main storyline process before reaching level ten is almost identical—

And the ”Beginners Trial” is the final climax of that process.

From the moment the character is born, the system guides them to step into this dungeon; every player has experienced it.

It can be said that it is one of the most impressive dungeons in ”otherworld”.

”Andras Plains, within the borders of the Rowen Kingdom”

Fu Hao stood in front of the entrance to the ”Beginners Trial”, his gaze falling on the towering leaderboard nearby.

”[Beginners Trial Fastest Clear Leaderboard]”

1st Place: Lv.5 Leonhardt. 00:57:09.010

2nd Place: 01:12:36.001

3rd Place: Lv.9 Yukina. 01:15:07.099

4th Place: Lv.9 Richie. 01:15:21.034

5th Place: Lv.9 Meow Meow Fist. 01:15:21.081

Fu Hao’s mouth twitched.

This leaderboard is a server-wide summary, displaying only the top five fastest.

First Place: Leonhardt.

Not only is he the record holder for the first clear, but he also became a legend with a single battle—for two years, the top spot has never been shaken.

- The only player with a clear time under one hour

- The only player to complete the challenge at level 5

- A gap of up to 15 minutes from second place

Even more shocking is that, according to community verification, he played blind the entire time he cleared it, without referencing any guides, passing on his first attempt.

In the history of ”otherworld”, based on this trial alone, Leonhardt had already achieved godhood, becoming a legendary figure on par with NPCs. Even if he wasn’t number one on the combat power leaderboard at the time, no one dared to question his status.

”Only took 57 minutes...” Fu Hao muttered in a low voice.

He had challenged this dungeon before; his final result was 2 hours and 25 minutes, which was already an excellent level, in the top 10%.

Now, he knew the routes, choke points, and mechanics by heart, and was confident he could compress the time to under 1 hour and 20 minutes.

What’s more, this time, he was carrying a +10 enhanced divine sword.

”It’s about time to start.”

He opened the live streaming interface, entered the title, and then gently clicked ”Start Streaming”.

[Stream Started]

He was just about to greet everyone, but when he glanced at the screen, he was stunned:

”Wait... six thousand people in less than a minute?”

The chat was already scrolling densely.

- ”He’s here, he’s here!”

- ”Brother Qiang is online!”

- ”Are you upgrading gear today too?”

- ”Let me see the real look of that +10 newbie sword first!”

- ”This is the Andras Plains, right?”

- ”You aren’t actually going to challenge Leonhardt, are you?”

- ”Do you know that you flooded the entire community yesterday?”

Fu Hao only then realized that the enhancement cap he had kicked down yesterday had already set the entire community on fire.

”Damn! What’s going on!? Only 2 minutes into the stream, and the viewer count has already broken ten thousand...”

- ”Only? Your streams now start at the ten-thousand level easily, okay?”

- ”That post about the +10 enhancement is still hanging on the hottest spot of the community homepage and hasn’t fallen off yet.”

- ”Buddy, you have forty thousand followers now.”

- ”Let’s see if you can break one hundred thousand today!”

- ”Did you enhance your armor?”

Fu Hao decided to satisfy the audience’s curiosity first and opened his equipment tab, placing it on the stream screen.

”Not enough time, didn’t get the jacket to +7, so I’ll make do with this for now.”

- ”This set of stats is more luxurious than mine at level 100...”

- ”Even though it’s a worn leather set, with these stats, is this the Elf King’s worn leather?”

- ”How much money did you actually spend?”

”I didn’t calculate the exact amount, but I’d guess... over ten million crystals.”

- ”Millions yesterday, tens of millions today? Buddy, whenever you start a stream, the national GDP trembles.”

Fu Hao smiled, his tone light.

”Oh right, to avoid interference, I’ve changed the donation alert to start from 50. I enhanced too many times yesterday, and the voice notifications gave me a headache.”

Subsequently, he set up a small poll:

[Do you think I can break the speedrun record?]

1. Yes

2. No

- ”2222222222”

- ”22222”

- ”1111111”

- ”No matter how awesome you are, Leonhardt isn’t someone you can just try to piggyback off of.”

- ”I’ll give you some advice, challenging second place is about right.”

- ”You’re still scared with a +10 sword? I bet 1!”

The poll countdown ended, and the results flashed on the screen:

[Yes: 11%, No: 89%]

The chat exploded:

- ”What kind of mentality do people who voted 1 have? What are they after?”

- ”Did your mom vote for it?”

- ”I give up, the faith this game’s players have in Leonhardt is at a religious level.”

Fu Hao looked at the poll results silently.

He knew this wasn’t just the audience looking down on him, but their faith in that absolute genius, Leonhardt.

To be honest, he himself used to be a fanboy of Leonhardt.

Every dungeon speedrun, every challenge mode, every guild war... Leonhardt always refreshed all records with ”one-shot clears” and ”one-shot kills.” It was an overwhelming dominance where ”hundreds of attempts by others couldn’t rival his talent.”

”Today, I will stand in his position!”

Just as he finished speaking, a donation voice message popped up:

[’Leonhart Forever God’ donated 50 Yuan — (If record is broken, another 5000)]

Fu Hao paused for a moment, then grinned:

”Thanks to ’Leonhart Forever God’ for the donation. 5000 if I break the record? Sounds good.”

Chat:

- ”Holy crap, he’s here! He’s really here!”

- ”Isn’t this ID that crazy fan? The one who leads a fan group to dogpile anyone who messes with Leonhardt?”

- ”Hurry up and break the record, I want to see him break down, hahaha.”

Fu Hao took the opportunity to guide the conversation:

”I can tell from the ID that you’re a die-hard fan of Leonhardt. I’ll keep this challenge in mind. Does anyone else want to up the ante? Welcome to join in.”

As a result, within just a few minutes, a bunch of bets flew into the chat:

- ”Break the record: add another 500”

- ”Get into top two: 500”

- ”Clear within 50 minutes: donation doubled”

Looking at the pop-ups filling the screen, Fu Hao only thought to himself: ”This wave is like picking up money until my hands go soft.”

”Thanks to all the sponsors, especially ’Leonhart Forever God’, you are the biggest sponsor of this session!”

He smiled gently and clicked ”Enter Dungeon”.

”Then I’d better live up to expectations.”

[You have entered the ”Beginners Trial” dungeon]

The screen darkened, and a challenge regarding ”glory, records, and shattering the altar” officially began.
