Chapter 1353: Chapter 578: Chaotic Tiriel

”Lord Fugen, this is his contact address. However, the information I have is that everyone who has tried to collaborate with him has failed and been killed, so you must be careful!” Amancio handed over a small piece of paper.

”I understand.” Fugen accepted the paper, the smile still radiant on his face: ”Lamp God Warlock? Golden Mage? Interesting!”

.......I am the dividing line of Oh Moses Roy.......

After the banquet ended, several people emerged from the Eastern Palace and returned to the State Guesthouse.

On the dim streets of Margaret, Fugen and Hadrian discussed the day’s meetings: ”Lady Kislev, Half-Elves, Arabians, Tiriel truly is a chaotic place.”

”I don’t understand war and military matters, Lord Fugen.” Hadrian shook his head with a bitter smile: ”I’m just a merchant.”

”Merchant?” Fugen looked at Hadrian and continued: ”Merchants are never simple. How many wars have been declared in the name of profit in this world? And how many merchants have expanded the empire under the guise of colonization and exploration?”

”You don’t need to show your submission in this way, Mr. Hadrian, just get things done for me.” Fugen continued: ”As for who I really am and what my family is, you will find out someday, but not now.”

”Hehehe.” Hadrian laughed somewhat awkwardly, feeling uneasy about the extravagance of his recently mild-mannered brother, Laine. He was like a very, very ornately decorated Knight’s Sword, which from its appearance seemed too ornate, neglecting practical use. Yet, even hidden within a sheath, everyone could sense the power of this Knight’s Sword.

And Hadrian had seen this sword drawn.

The grand merchant always had a feeling that Fugen was terrifying. He easily saw through every thought and unconscious body language Hadrian exposed. Standing before him felt like being undressed, any thought just emerging was already known to Fugen.

Such a person not becoming a diplomat is truly a waste, Hadrian thought.

”The reason I don’t become a diplomat is simply that my father hoped I would use my power in more important places. Actually, during the Great Expedition Era, my offspring frequently served as guards and attendants, accompanying my father on missions... Forget it, saying this now makes no sense. Hadrian, tell me why Felix is a General?” Fugen continued to ask: ”I’m not saying he’s not outstanding, but he only has more than three hundred riders under him, can he still be a General?”

On the streets, only the sound of footsteps could be heard, besides the faint glow of light.

Offspring? Missions? Great Expedition? Hadrian listened and felt perplexed, but he understood the last question. He laughed after hearing it: ”Lord Fugen, do you know how many Marshals and Generals Kislev has?”

”How many?”

”Kislev currently has over twenty Marshals and more than a hundred Generals. Lady Kislev is like this; this country has always awarded more titles and granted them lavishly.” Hadrian nodded and spoke about the Old World’s military rank system.

After the Great Holy War, Kislev awarded hundreds of Marshal titles and thousands of General titles. The Marshals of Kislev are divided into three levels. Besides the Tsar himself serving as Grand Marshal, Kislev currently has three Marshals. Apart from pure Marshal titles, there are subordinate titles such as ”Marshal of the Army,” like the Tsar’s Shooting Army having a Marshal of the Shooting Army, Rangers having a Ranger Marshal, Krim Guard having a Guard Marshal, Kesa Warriors having a Marshal Kesa, Winged Cavalry having a Winged Cavalry Marshal, Bear Cavalry having a Bear Cavalry Marshal, and besides this, there’s a Navy Marshal and First Marshal and Second Marshal of Archers, likewise for Infantry First Marshal and Second Marshal.

If there is an official numbered troop, Lady Kislev will surely appoint a Marshal.

By comparison, the Empire provides much fewer titles. The entire Empire has only two permanent Marshal titles, namely ”Marshal Rick” and ”Grand Marshal Nuer.” Kurt Heilberg is the ninth Marshal Rick.

As for Brittania, the country does not have permanent Marshal titles except when organizing a regional army, expeditionary army, or Holy War Army. The Knight King would consider appointing a Marshal, like the famous Roland Marshal of the Kulona regional army leading a force of thousands of troops stationed at the border between Brittania and Empire. For the Knight Kingdom, they do not need to set military ranks because if the current Commander falls in battle, the knight with the highest rank and combined status would immediately take over command, and bound by knightly spirit, the knights would immediately submit to the new commander.

”Haha, Supreme Lord Admiral Spier would feel disappointed... The affair is almost concluded, we shall no longer linger. The day after tomorrow, we set off for Tiriel.” Fugen gave the order.

”Yes!”

After temporarily successfully recruiting a squad of Winged Cavalry, the Ash Legion rested briefly, then immediately set off for Tiriel.

However, when the fleet of the Ash Legion arrived in Miraglino, someone had already reached Tiriel.

That was Angerong and his Horned Eagle Beast.

To this day, Angerong had become very familiar with Tiriel. Ever since acquiring the Horned Eagle Beast, Angerong often rode his Horned Eagle Beast Nukelia directly over the Black Mountain Range to shop in Tiriel and then shamelessly fly over the Black Mountain Range again, thus avoiding paying Kakasong’s entry tax.
