Chapter 1351: Chapter 577: Steel Felix (Part 3)

”How many people?” Fugen asked.

”About... over a thousand. They are all persecuted individuals at home, and also war orphans. Kislev can’t support them. We can’t find connections in the Empire, so I need your help. I can assure you, they are not criminals, just... have different viewpoints.” Felix said seriously. ”Musillon is recruiting lately. Could you introduce us?”

”If upon inspection there are no issues, I will consider it.” Fugen did not immediately agree, nor did he promise: ”Anything else?”

”That’s all.” Felix shook his head.

”When can you and your Winged Cavalry join us?” Fugen then asked what he was most concerned about.

”Once these people are properly settled, my three hundred and fifteen Winged Cavalry under my command can immediately join you.” Felix stood up and gave a standard salute: ”You can verify them yourself. I have no objections. I only hope you treat them well.”

”I’m not talking about hiring, but joining.” Fugen’s voice was light.

”I am also talking about joining, Lord Fugen. I think you need us to join as well.” Felix’s eyes sunk, the former General took off his hat, his hairline slightly receded, and his deep-set eyes contained wisdom and a power that never allowed him to yield: ”Can you accept it?”

”Then... let’s have a pleasant cooperation!”

”Pleasant cooperation!”

Two hands clasped together, marking the agreement.

Sitting down again, Fugen felt satisfied with the result. The combat power of the Winged Cavalry is renowned throughout the Old World, and now, with the help of this army, the Ash Legion’s combat strength will surely reach another level.

”Mr. Amancio, does Estalia have any mercenaries worth hiring?” With the conditions agreed upon, Fugen asked Amancio: ”I need stronger immediate combat power. Money isn’t a problem.”

”No more.” Amancio shook his head with a bitter smile: ”This is Estalia, Lord Fugen. We don’t have particularly strong armies. You should go to Tiriel.”

”Tiriel?” Fugen was slightly disappointed, though the Primarch of Emperor’s Son could always perfectly control his emotions: ”I wonder how many armies in the land of mercenaries are willing to follow me on an expedition?”

”A significant event has recently occurred in Tiriel. The famous Prince Miraglino, ’Siege Master’ Bogil, was assassinated in the well-known Grand Bath.” Amancio nodded and took out a list: ”As a result, several legendary mercenary forces lost their employer.”

”Leopold’s heavy infantry regiment, Leopard Group.”

”Miraglino’s Divine Archer Corps.”

”Dwarf Butcher Chief Delong Butcher Warband.”

”And the renowned Brongino Rapid Cavalry Artillery Regiment.”

Fugen received the list, nodding with satisfaction. These are mercenaries famed throughout the Old World. Gathering their forces might enable a confrontation with the Skaven Ratmen.

”But I highly recommend these two teams.” Amancio handed over a new list, a smile extending across the face of the big merchant.

”From the Mut Territory’s Half-Elf Habi Squad, and... the mysterious Arabi Lamp God Warlock!”

......I can only grant three wishes line......

Meanwhile, in the Old World, over the Black Mountain Range.

Angerong was flying on his Horned Eagle Beast Nukelia in this place, and the King of Cutting was clearly in a good mood.

”My nephew is about to be born. As an uncle, I shouldn’t arrive empty-handed.”

”Let’s go to Tiriel and see what treasures there could be!”
