Warhammer Divine Throne

Surya’s heart was resolute, the lady knight recalled the events within the windmill.

”Amelia, you will attend the banquet with us, Surya will bring you along.” Laine said to Amelia.

”Alright.” The little maid nodded.

...

As scheduled, the Glory of Boldro opened at Bodlukes Castle, attended by prominent Great Nobles and Wizard Leaders of the Old World. The nobles exchanged glasses and whispered among themselves. On the surface, everyone was sincerely congratulating Fidmund on his return from the Holy Grail Expedition, but behind the scenes, these Great Nobles were more concerned with how to gain greater benefits from this affair.

Among them, Duke of Leonais Aldred and King’s Envoy Count Taobot looked displeased. Fidmund’s return signified the further strengthening of Boldro’s position as the largest trading port of Brittania, affecting their interests.

Red Dragon Duke Bohemond was quite spirited. This Great Noble was not very interested in such gains; he clearly favored Fidmund as his son-in-law, and his granddaughter Eva was gathered with Surya and other Great Noble ladies. Many noble ladies were inquiring from Surya about various gossip regarding Laine, and indirectly and repeatedly asked how Laine’s ”little spear” performed, causing Surya and Amelia, who was with her, to blush red with embarrassment.

Duke Bodric was jubilant. Not only did he repeatedly propose toasts, but he also issued an edict: ”To celebrate my son Fidmund’s completion of the Holy Grail Expedition, today the entire Boldro will celebrate! The city will open the curfew, and everyone can freely drink wine, including peasants!”

”Long live the Duke!”

”Praise the Duke!”

”For Boldro!”

”Manannan above!”

The entire city fell into a sea of joy.

”Hello, are you Lady Elspeth and Mr. Theodore from Imperial Nuer? Please feel free to help yourselves to the beverages and food upon entry. If you need anything, instruct the servants to serve you. Have a delightful evening.” At the entrance of the banquet, Lady Elspeth, the Death Element Sanctuary Grandmaster from Nuer, and Nuer Champion Theodore Bruckner entered together.

Nuer Champion Theodore Bruckner uncomfortably adjusted his collar: ”I hate attending these kinds of banquets.”

”...” Lady Black of Nuer, Elspeth, remained silent. She raised her head, her gaze sharp as a scythe sweeping across the banquet scene, immediately locking onto Amelia who was hiding behind Surya: ”We’re going in.”

After Elspeth and Theodore entered, the doorman immediately welcomed a noble-looking couple: ”Hello! Miss Fiona and Mr. Dominic! You can help yourselves to the beverages and food upon entry. If you need anything, instruct the servants to serve you. Have a delightful evening.”

”Humph! I tell you, if you hadn’t begged me to bring you in, I wouldn’t have attended such a disgusting banquet!” Fiona said to her companion after entering, her face as dark as ink, having spent half the day cleaning herself up.

”Don’t worry, it won’t take too long.” This companion had a very handsome and attractive face; he was actually Mathew Bade, disguised as a Brittania noble. This Duke of Musillon had cleverly disguised himself, and with Fiona’s cover, he smoothly entered the banquet: ”Excuse me for a moment, Fiona, I need to wash my hands.”

”Honestly! You didn’t clean up outside, and now you still want to wash your hands inside the banquet!” Fiona habitually complained a bit but eventually released Mathew Bade’s arm.

Mathew Bade nodded, immediately making his way across the corridor to the castle garden. The Duke of Musillon began casting communication spells, locating a corner in the garden to mark with Black Magic: ”Farah, I’m ready here.”

Outside, Boldro had already transformed into a grand banquet scene. People were drinking wine, parading the streets, and decorating the city to celebrate Fidmund’s expedition. Imperial Merchants employed by the Duke were setting up fireworks, preparing to release them when the banquet reached its climax.

”Be ready. Start the plan once the Dragon Quest program begins!”
