Warhammer Divine Throne

”Woof woof woof~” The little dog felt a bit embarrassed upon realizing someone was watching it, barked a few times, and quickly ran away.

Thus, roughly three minutes after Fiona walked out of the Woodpecker Store, a wrapped-up wet dog poop flew out of nowhere and directly hit her on the head! That warm, foul-smelling mushy substance landed on the blonde woman’s beret and then trickled down her meticulously styled, smooth short golden hair!

”Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”

Inside the Woodpecker Store, Surya, Amelia, and Laine, who were responsible for evaluating, all heard the woman’s scream outside.

”What happened?” Surya asked curiously.

”Nothing much.” Laine replied with a delighted smile as he looked at his wife, his eyes emitting a radiant green light: ”Oh, Surya, how come...?”

The Count almost stopped breathing at the sight of his wife’s outfit.

Surya was wearing a standard Brittania maid outfit, a cocoa-colored lace maid skirt paired with an ivory white embroidered satin blouse. This attire added a lively vibe to the stunning beauty of the lady knight. The blouse was tightly filled at the chest, the tiny black buttons were straining under indescribable pressure, trembling slightly with the lady knight’s breaths, seemingly on the brink of bursting apart!

Since Surya’s figure was much taller than a typical woman, the cocoa-colored maid skirt that initially reached the knees extended only to mid-thigh. Her tall figure was entirely unveiled, with a pair of long, straight legs partly visible beneath the skirt, legs well-proportioned and delicately contoured. It was rare for the pants-wearing lady knight to be seen in black garter stockings, their sheer surface reflecting a faint shimmer, her entire attire perfectly accentuating her figure. Her cascading golden curls were tied back with a white headscarf, leaving behind Surya’s flawless visage and a gentle smile.

The lady knight chose a maid outfit for herself!

”Amelia said you might like this style.” Surya shyly explained, observing her husband’s gaze, her face slightly flushed: ”But the chest is too tight, and the skirt is a bit short, might need the store to custom-make it, now it’s just... a casual trial, what do you think? Laine, does it look strange?”

”Wow!” The store’s customers, regardless of age or gender, exclaimed in admiration, with many whispering to each other. The crowd paid their respects to the lady knight, which made her, coming from noble birth, a bit embarrassed. If worn in the Duke of Winford’s Family, the Duke’s Daughter might face severe criticism.

”It’s nothing, I’m just a bit surprised. My wife, you look truly beautiful today.” Laine quickly shook his head, subtly pulling Surya to his side: ”It looks great, it suits you!”

”Whew~” Surya breathed a slight sigh of relief, her face flushed with a charming red as she shyly whispered: ”Really? That’s great, as long as you like it.”

”You look good no matter what you wear, my wife.” Laine playfully commented: ”Your beauty transcends the clothes, they only enhance it.”

”Stop, Laine, how come you’re suddenly so eloquent...”

The lady knight struggled to adjust her neckline, highlighting the need for tailoring improvements in certain areas. Laine gently embraced her affectionately for a few seconds, his expression full of admiration.

”I told you, Surya Sister, Laine would definitely like this look on you!” The charming little maid Amelia emerged from Surya’s back, selecting a garnet red pleated off-shoulder muse evening gown, typically worn by grand nobles, which perfectly suited her, feeling as though she was meant for it.

”In any case, let’s make the purchase first, and see if there are other suitable clothes.” Laine noticed the increased chatter in the store due to Surya’s appearance and decided to stay low-key.

”Alright.” Surya returned inside to change out of the outfit, since the tightness around a certain area was quite discomforting.

After some chaos, Surya and Amelia, back in the Marchioness outfit and maid outfit respectively, exited the Woodpecker Fashion Store, with the Marchioness’s servants carrying several boxes and bags, along with some clothes for custom orders, to be delivered to Laine.

After visiting a few more stores, Laine’s party returned to their temporary hotel accommodation.

In the luxurious hotel room, Laine sat on the sofa: ”I just met Fiona.”

”Fiona?” Surya placed her belongings down, sitting across from Laine, pondering: ”Why would Fiona come here for the banquet? Odd, Borelion Duchy is currently experiencing political turmoil, Duke Theodoric is busy gathering forces to repent in the monastery, unable to attend the Boldro banquet, knowing he isn’t welcomed... Laine, perhaps Fiona is just here for leisure?”

”Hmm.” Laine pondered for a while before making a decision: ”Let’s attend the banquet as usual but cautiously, knowing Fiona and Mathew Bade...”
