Warhammer Divine Throne

PS. This chapter is over five thousand three hundred words long. I hope everyone enjoys it!

PS2. I saw someone complaining that the Blood Red Duke is weak. What I want to say is that it’s actually because the protagonist has become very strong. Also, the Blood Red Duke himself is not particularly powerful. If you carefully read the history I’ve described earlier, the Blood Red Duke has been defeated many times; he’s just quick to escape.

As long as the female sorcerer’s teleportation technique is interrupted, these people won’t be able to escape today. Manfred’s face was filled with hatred. For the second time, this time he must kill Laine!

At this moment, Laine moved. He was filled with powerful Spiritual Energy, his eyes were shrouded in a vortex of Spiritual Energy.

He was recalling the Spiritual Energy skills taught to him by the Emperor. Ever since Manfred tricked him once, he’s been planning to hit the Vampire Count hard. Now, this plan was coming to fruition.

This ability, the Emperor has it, Demon Pattern Macado has it, and Laine had no reason not to have it. But the consumption of this ability was really too great; he could only use it once in a battle at the moment.

”Kill him! Kill Laine Macado! For Alboim Wallace!” The Blood Knights gathered, five or six long spears thrusting fiercely toward Laine.

The spear tips all thrust together, but then something that shocked all the Blood Knights happened. Laine’s body exploded in a light blue Light of Spiritual Power, turning into countless fragments, as if the spears had pierced him, yet there was nothing in front of them.

This scene stunned everyone fighting.

Three seconds until the teleportation technique activates.

Then, all the shining fragments suddenly converged behind Manfred; it was Laine! He had inexplicably traversed space, and the Goddess of Revenge pierced through Manfred’s chest from behind, black blood splattering.

Two seconds until the teleportation technique activates.

”Ahhhh!” Manfred was severely hit, clutching his chest, his offensive interrupted. Laine immediately withdrew the Goddess of Revenge and shouted, ”Alfred, Jerald! Go!”

Laine hurled Manfred toward the Blood Knights. Alfred and Jerald immediately abandoned the fight, braving a sword strike to their backs, they jumped towards Teresa. Blood Knights were knocked over by Manfred’s body.

One second until the teleportation technique activates.

”Go!” Teresa barely raised her Magic Staff, and the long-prepared teleportation technique finally took effect. The three men all touched the female sorcerer’s Magic Staff.

Yellow light illuminated the camp.

Then, everything fell into silence.

......

Boldro Duchy, Turis Castle.

A burst of yellow teleportation light lit up in the middle of the castle, and several people fell to the ground from the void.

”Who are you?!” The appearance of several strangers aroused the utmost vigilance of the castle guards, the Sea God Knights surrounded the newcomers completely, weapons drawn.

”It’s me!” Among the four people who fell, only one stood up. The Holy Grail Knight Commander’s Badge on his chest revealed his identity, and the Sea God Knights immediately bowed in salute: ”Lord Laine!”

”We need a doctor here!” Laine struggled to stand up, shouting to the nearby soldiers. Teresa’s Mana couldn’t support long-distance teleportation, so Laine had already planned to teleport directly into Turis Castle.

Many castles don’t welcome uninvited teleporters and have prohibitions set up, but Laine had prepared in advance.

Teresa had overused her Magic Power and had completely passed out. Alfred lay lifelessly on the grass within the castle, weakly speaking toward his side, ”Are you dead?”

”Not dead yet!” The reply came from Jerald’s gritted teeth.

”Laine! Jerald!” Francois and Bodric rushed over, several Lake God Prophets and doctors immediately stopped the bleeding for Alfred and Jerald.

Some Lake God Prophets tried to heal Laine, but Laine reached out to indicate he didn’t need it.

What he took out was the Blood Red Duke’s head and the Aquitaine Sword.

”What is this?!” Francois and Bodric widened their eyes: ”The head of the Red Duke?!”

”I ended him.” Laine held up Teresa, speaking softly: ”In the name of the Lady, I completely ended him.”

”The Blood Red Duke has been beheaded, and the siege weapons have been completely destroyed.” Francois touched his beard, squinting: ”We’ve won this war! Laine, well done!”

”Well done, Laine,” Bodric couldn’t resist smiling; it was the best news he’d heard in a long time.

”You did well too, Jerald, and Alfred,” Francois nodded.

”Fighting for the Lady, it’s our duty.” Jerald was very weak, being the most severely injured of the participants in the mission, he was soaked in blood, and a Lake God Prophet only needed a brief examination to understand the fierce battle Jerald had gone through; the deepest wound was only a few centimeters from his heart.

Alfred’s injuries were better; being a Paladin inherently had a profession that’s especially resilient, and in the most dangerous moment he activated the Holy Shield Skill, saving his life. However, his Paladin Plate Armor was completely destroyed, and the damaged shield was simply left behind in the vampire’s siege camp.

Holding Teresa in his arms, the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lake Fairy looked at the pale, unconscious female sorcerer, sighed lightly. Teresa was willing to follow him to the frontline and stay behind, she even overdrew her Bloodline Power to fight Manfred for his cover.
