Warhammer Divine Throne

Chapter 317: Chapter 137, Elimination of Bandit Trouble (5,400-Word Chapter!)_3

He wore a very luxurious full-body armor, the entire silver-gray armor belonging to this Holy Grail Knight with the family crest engraved above it, and besides that, there were many parts of the armor where some indistinct scriptures were carved.

This Holy Grail Knight did not wear a helmet, exposing his sharp and handsome features, blue eyes, black parted hair, he raised his Warhammer, planted it on the ground, and issued a final warning to the bandits.

”The Lady’s Champion, Baron Gene, Holy Grail Knight Laine Macado warns all of you in the fortress, I give you one minute, open the gates and surrender immediately,” the Holy Grail Knight said righteously.

”Hahahahahahahahahaha!” The robbers on the fortress burst into laughter, many laughed until tears came out, the bandits gave no response to the knights, instead, they used crude slingshots to throw many things out of the fortress.

There was excrement, all sorts of debris, and several heads of fallen soldiers.

The young Ranger Knights even saw a few knight’s heads, their faces still bearing the fear before their death, many Ranger Knights blushed with anger, but were stopped by Laine’s outstretched hand: ”You wait here!”

”Lord Laine? Are you going to negotiate with them alone? They can’t be trusted! The only fate for these despicable scoundrels is to let our sharp swords drink their blood!” Some Ranger Knights shouted loudly.

Laine’s response was still very calm: ”Who said I’m going to negotiate with them? If they really wanted to negotiate with us, I’d have a headache instead.”

”What I mean is, be ready for battle, and wait here.”

”When the fortress gate breaks, you know what to do.”

With that said, Laine went alone, raising his Warhammer, along the hillside, toward the fortress.

In the following three minutes, all the Brittania Knights witnessed a scene that left them dumbfounded.

On top of the fortress, the bandits frantically fired arrows, thirty or forty robbers together used javelins to pour firepower onto this newly made Holy Grail Knight, dense javelins were always a powerful weapon against the charging knights.

The remaining robbers used a few hard bows to attack Laine, sharp arrows flew straight towards Baron Gene.

There were also falling rocks and rolling logs, bandits continually dropped these siege materials from the fortress, trying to make Laine retreat.

But it was to no avail.

Any attack was ineffective.

The incoming javelins were blocked by Laine’s Spiritual Shield, all falling to the ground.

The falling rocks and rolling logs were directly shattered by Laine’s hammer, causing no harm whatsoever to him.

The arrows shot by the hard bows couldn’t stop Laine’s steps at all, these ridiculous attacks couldn’t even touch his armor.

All that remained was the sound of his heavy footsteps.

Step by step, the Holy Grail Knight ascended the slope, his steps like a tightened noose on a gallows, suffocating the bandits.

He gradually neared the gate.

In despair, the robbers poured boiling excrement from the gate tower, the stench overwhelmed their sense of smell, this was the robbers’ trump card, the Master Knights intensely feared such disgusting things, once a wound got infected it could easily result in death, and they loathed having their family crests and armor covered in filth.

Yet it was still useless, the Holy Grail Knight waved a finger, pale blue energy burned in his hand, scorching excrement was blocked at a distance and even directly evaporated.

The bandit leader shouted, ”To the gate, to the gate, hold it! Hold it for me!”

”Ahhhhh!” Many bandits held up planks, tables, and other items, all propped against the heavy wooden gate.

”Boom!” The heavy gate made a loud noise, and the bandits propped behind the wooden gate were all knocked away, falling to the ground.

The fortress shook, the hillside trembled, the echoes resounded in the mountains, sounding the death knell for this gang of bandits.

”Hold it!!!” The bandit leader rushed to the gate, using his body to brace it, seeing this the robbers collectively used their bodies to brace the gate again.

”Boom!!” The second massive sound, the twenty-something bandits at the gate again flew out and fell to the ground, scattering everywhere, the bandit leader swallowed hard, enduring his body’s aching pain, forcing himself to look up.

The logs bracing the gate had severely deformed.

Outside the gate, Laine expressionlessly raised his Warhammer again.

”Boom!!!” The fortress gate shattered, collapsing, a silver-gray figure appeared before all the bandits, backlit by the afternoon sun, like an ancient Human God descending once more into the Mortal World: ”Good afternoon, gentlemen bandits?”

”We surrender! We surrender!!!”

......

Main Material Universe, Armageddon World.

A brutal battle raged on the surface of this planet, demons from Subspace roared and howled, charging like a red tide towards the human positions.

Half the planet was engulfed in a sea of blood, turned entirely into a Demon World, on which Khorne’s Demon Army and Tzeentch’s Demon Army continually clashed, while also launching a frenzied attack on the human positions.

An endless future, only fire of war.

And in a certain valley, explosions and the firelight from spiritual energy lit up Armageddon’s sky, and the Dark Angels Chapter of the Human Empire were fiercely battling the fallen Chaos Space Marines World-Devourer, the Dark Angels Grand Tutor Azriel holding an Explosive Arrow Gun continually fired, never in thousands of years had the Dark Angels felt as relieved and fervent as today.

Their Primarch had returned! Their Majesty had returned!

And as millennia ago, the great Emperor again mercifully forgave the misdeeds of the Dark Angels, allowing the unforgivable legion to finally put down a millennial burden, light-armored, to fight the formidable enemy.

Of course, the Emperor’s forgiveness did not mean they would abandon their pursuit of the fallen. Azriel swore in his Primarch’s name, all the fallen would pay for their sins!

The fallen Space Marine Legion World-Devourer faced enormous pressure, their opponents not only had the Dark Angels Chapter, but also the Emperor’s Imperial Guard and the recently arrived Imperial Fist Chapter, with the Chaos Space Marines under siege on three sides, their defeat was only a matter of time.

Main battlefield, on the pile of countless Imperial Fist warriors’ corpses, a battle neared its end.

The Master of Humans’ black long hair flew in the wind, he wielded a giant sword bursting with flame, his eyes cold, the Emperor not injured, yet his golden armor sparked in many places, while the Dark Angel’s Primarch Leon El Johnson also bore several wounds, albeit minor ones.

Opposite the Emperor and Johnson stood a blood-soaked fallen Primarch.

”Leon! The final strike!”

”Oh!!!”
