Warhammer Divine Throne

The town and villages need to expand outward, and the streets must be re-planned. The Imperial Merchant Oliver has taken on this project, and he will lead his subordinates to undertake this work.

The Baron methodically arranged various matters on his own, the merchants all got the projects they wanted, waves of money were spent, and Laine’s endless tactics left Surya feeling very surprised.

”The remaining project is the final one.” The Baron briefly introduced the last project, planning to develop the Gene Vineyard into a resort combining cultivation, brewing, leisure, and recreation.

This resort can easily gain fame, and Laine already had a complete plan in mind.

As soon as he finished introducing the project, the Marchioness of Winford stood up from the side and addressed all the merchants present: ”Hello everyone, I am Surya Kumari Antley de Winford.”

”Greetings, Marchioness Surya!” The merchants responded in return, as everyone knew the Duke’s daughter.

”Thank you all for attending Lord Laine’s meeting today, but I regret to announce to everyone that the final project has been taken by our Antre Family.” The female knight turned around, looked at Laine with an odd expression, and spoke with poise: ”The Palace Artisans of the Antre Family will craft the finest furniture and various artworks for the Gene Vineyard, and the Court Brewmaster of the Antre Family will provide ample technical guidance. We will offer Lord Laine a satisfactory price.”

The merchants present sighed in their hearts upon seeing the Marchioness stand up: It seems today’s meeting is really over.

Brittania’s wine is renowned throughout the Old World. In terms of brewing technology, the northern Connet Duchy, the western Boldro Duchy, and the southern Kakasong Duchy are all known for producing wine.

But none of them can compare to the Winford Duchy, which is known as the ”Land of Wine and Olive Oil,” possessing three of the Old World’s top five vineyards. Its most famous top-grade wine, ”Lysa Lus,” only produces fifty cases every three years. When Surya spoke, all the merchants knew that on this matter, they had no standing to compete.

Thus, everything was settled, and the merchants signed contracts with Laine in front of the statue of the Lake Fairy. Once the contract is signed before the deities, it is irrevocable.

They were preparing to take action.

Everyone gradually left, among them Hadrian and Oliver wanting to take the opportunity to chat with Laine. However, merchants are never lacking in the ability to observe and understand situations, and seeing that the Duke’s daughter seemed to have more to say to Laine, the two merchants immediately expressed that they would visit next time if there’s a chance.

With the matters done, the Baron’s spirits were high, so he joked with the female knight: ”Miss Surya, you’ve scared all my guests away~ What is the matter? Please speak plainly.”

”Lord Laine is truly talented; many methods I’ve never seen before.” The female knight stood straight, maintaining perfect etiquette and elegant speech in every gesture. Seeing Laine looking at her, she smiled, pulled out a letter sealed with wax from herself: ”This is a letter from my father.”

”We have some matters we’d like to entrust to you, regarding the security within the territory.”

”Recently, it seems there have been sightings of undead within the Winford Duchy.”
