Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

The fourth Intermediate Flash Skill Scroll burst apart, releasing a torrent of starlight that poured into Lin Moyu’s body.

Once again, he followed the flow of the starlight, tracing it toward the skill source.

He still didn’t understand why finding the skill source was necessary.

But since both Meng Anwen and Bai Yiyuan regarded it as crucial, he could only trust their judgment.

Someday, he believed, he would understand.

As the vast stream of starlight merged into his body, Lin Moyu tracked it carefully, only to watch it dissipate into nothingness.

No new skill triggered.

“Huh? Nothing?”

“Could it be that I only get one new skill at level 60?”

“That can’t be right. In all of human history, every class has gained at least two new skills at level 60.”

“Am I really the only exception?”

Doubt gnawed at him.

He glanced at the Intermediate Flash Skill Scrolls—four already used, nine remaining.

Still unwilling to accept it, Lin Moyu activated two more.

This time, the starlight was thicker, more concentrated.

He focused intently, following closely that path of the starlight within his body.

But again, the torrent vanished, with no trace of a new skill.

“Don’t tell me… there’s really no more skills?”

Frowning, he activated two additional scrolls.

Five Intermediate Flash Skill Scrolls—an extravagant cost.

Starlight flooded out, filling the White God Courtyard until daylight itself dimmed beneath its brilliance.

And then, he felt it. That familiar sensation welled up again.

“So there is another skill!”

Relief and excitement surged through him. The scrolls hadn’t been wasted after all.

After five scrolls, he had finally uncovered a deeply hidden skill.

The boundless stream of starlight converged, gradually illuminating its form.

Before his eyes, a skill demonstration unfolded.

It had been a long time since he’d last seen one. He instantly knew this skill was extraordinary.

Every skill that came with a demonstration had proven immensely powerful.

Just like Summon Elemental Lich, which was a cornerstone of his might, crucial in slaying God-level beings.

“What kind of skill will it be this time?” Lin Moyu waited, anticipation surging in his chest.

The familiar vision unfolded before him, with the same battlefield, the same Necromancer.

Lin Moyu still didn’t know what to call him—Necromancer, Necrolord, or perhaps something even greater.

Before the Necromancer stretched a vast undead army, millions strong.

These were no ordinary skeletons. Among them stood several special skeletons, clad in armor and wielding a giant sword, each towering over ten meters tall.

“Skeletal Kings!” Lin Moyu recognized them instinctively.

The towering skeletons fought beside the other skeletons, their power overwhelming.

Then, a group of Dragons appeared in the sky, an entire group

And they weren’t Dragonkind class users, but real Dragons.

Each Dragon spanned more than a hundred meters, their bodies wreathed in blazing fire. Their presence alone made Lin Moyu’s heart quake.

Each one, he sensed, rivaled Bai Yiyuan in strength.

Flames poured from their maws, scorching the undead ranks below.

Skeletons shattered beneath the inferno, unable to withstand the onslaught.

But then, Lin Moyu noticed something strange.

Every fallen skeleton released turned into a wisp of light that drifted back to the Necromancer.

A moment later, new skeletons emerged, surging once more into battle.

The undead army was unending, dying and reviving again and again, becoming a truly undying army.

The vision ended amid the thunder of battle. Lin Moyu’s consciousness snapped back to reality.

The skill had been fully activated, and that deeply hidden skill point was now shining brightly, its radiance flooding his entire being and illuminating the skill space.

For an instant, in that dazzling glow, Lin Moyu glimpsed several points in the distance, mysterious and filled with terrifying power.

They vanished as quickly as they appeared, but the impression lingered.

“Those... must be third-awakening skills...” He murmured.

[Acquired skill: Undying Undead (passive)]

[Undying Undead (passive): when a member of your undead army receives a fatal blow, it will not die. Instead, it returns to the summon space, fully recovering after one second before rejoining the battle. Each undead may resurrect twice within five minutes. On the third death within that period, it perishes permanently.]

Lin Moyu’s heart trembled.

It was a passive skill, one that extended to his entire undead army.

Each undead could fully revive twice within five minutes, with the third death being final.

Combined with the Undying Lich’s Undying Ring, every undead had effectively at least three lives.

The undead army’s survivability had skyrocketed.

To kill him, an enemy would have to annihilate his undead army four times over.

Not only had his undead army grown stronger, but he had too.

Though it didn’t enhance offensive power, this skill pushed the survivability of both him and his undead army to unimaginable heights

Two new skills. One active, one passive. One for offense, one for survival.

Lin Moyu didn’t even need to test them to know: both were immensely powerful.

“I wonder… could there be a third skill?”

When his previous skill had activated, he’d already checked his skill space and found no others.

Still, unwilling to leave any possibility unexplored, Lin Moyu activated the remaining two Intermediate Flash Skill Scrolls.

Starlight poured from the skill, entering his body and coursing through him.

He followed its flow with his spirit force, but the light dispersed quickly, never converging.

When the glow faded, not even a trace of connection to a new skill was established.

Lin Moyu confirmed it: at level 60, he possessed only two skills.

Among the human race, some classes held five or six skills at this level.

Others, like the Sword-Shield Knight, had only two.

But the number of skills didn’t determine strength.

Many classes dominated the battlefield with a single, overwhelming move.

Lin Moyu knew that his class was already powerful enough. Even without talent buffs, he could instantly kill opponents of the same level.

With the buffs, he could challenge those far above his level.

To confront God-level opponents at level 60, such a feat had never appeared in human history.

“Let’s see… just how strong Summon Skeletal King really is.”

The passive Undying Undead skill needed no testing—its power was self-evident.

But the Summon Skeletal King skill still needed proper testing to reveal its true power.

At Lin Moyu’s command, the undead army appeared in an instant.

The woods outside the White God Courtyard were soon overflowing with skeletons—49,200 in total, filling every inch of space.

Lightning Deathwings unfurled behind Lin Moyu, and the skeletons rose into the sky, forming a black cloud overhead.

“Let’s start with 10,000.”

He decided to summon the weakest version of the Skeletal King first.

A burst of black light flared from his hand, and the sky dimmed as if night had fallen.

Where his will converged, a throne of bones materialized in midair—the Skeletal King’s throne.

The 10,000 skeletons turned into streams of light, merging into the throne.

Moments later, the Skeletal King emerged upon it.

When the Skeletal King materialized, its aura surged outward and black mist spread through the air.

The undead aura was even more sinister and chilling than abyssal aura.

A cold wind howled, and within dozens of kilometers, the temperature plunged by over ten degrees.

The once-scorching summer air turned into the chill of autumn.

Formed from 10,000 skeletons, the Skeletal King stood over 10 meters tall, wielding a massive bone sword.

A cloak hung from its shoulders, woven entirely from tiny bones, with streams of blood-red liquid flowing across it, glowing faintly in the dim light—a sight that could freeze the bravest hearts.

“It looks... really scary.” Lin Moyu muttered, astonished by the scale of the commotion.

The Skeletal King’s presence alone was enough to send shivers down the spines of many class users.

It was far more dreadful than the Abyssal Demons.

“Let’s check its attributes.”

For his summon, Lin Moyu didn’t need to use Detection.

With a single thought, the data appeared before him.
