91 - Since It’s Not Possible To Go From Above, Then Let’s Go From Below

Desert Queen Ant’s Egg.

Lin Moyu looked at the transparent object shaped like an egg in his palm.

If a Beast Tamer were to get his hands on this thing, he would be able to hatch a Desert Queen Ant.

With a queen ant, an untold number of ants can be raised.

So long as the Beast Tamer controls the queen ant, the ants will be at his beck and call.

Although the level of the Desert Queen Ant isn’t high, but the level of tamed beasts can be increased.

Lin Moyu believes that this thing should be quite valuable.

He can ask about it once he’s back.

As for the two silver rank equipment, they are dispensable to him.

That means they can be exchanged for some money.

One minute after the queen ant was killed, the corpse disappeared, revealing a passage.

The Skeletal Warriors ran into the passage first.

After entering the ant colony, they have been advancing downward.

The passage, on the other hand, leads upward.

There were no monsters in the passage. After a while, sunlight emerged again.

The underground’s shade gave way to scorching heat.

Yellow sand extending without end materialized once more.

It’s hotter here than on the other side, as if the place were a grill.

Behind the exit, there is a steep cliff with trees.

A mountain separates the dungeon in two.

To arrive here, you must cross the ant colony.

It has been 11 hours since Lin Moyu entered the dungeon.

This dungeon is too large. Too much time has been wasted on searching the path.

The Skeletal Warriors quickly moved forward. They must hurry.

The longer time drags on, the lower the chance that the Tyrant’s Heart will drop.

Suddenly, a beam of light dropped and landed on Lin Moyu.

The Bone Armor emitted dazzling white light to block the attack.

The attack is very strong, so the Bone Armor is rapidly collapsing.

Lin Moyu was startled, then quickly retreated.

Thereupon, the beam hit the desert, and sand exploded into the air.

Then came another beam.

The Skeletal Warriors quickly formed a wall to protect him.

Looking in the direction the beams came from, Lin Moyu saw the attacker.

It’s a monster that he has never seen before.

The monster floated about 10 meters above the ground.

Its shape is that of a huge ball, about two meters in diameter.

In the middle of the ball, there is an eye. The eye occupies 80% of the monster’s body

It is roughly 100 meters away.

It launched an attack from a long distance. Furthermore, it didn’t target the skeletons, but attacked Lin Moyu himself.

This monster is a bit interesting.

When their master was attacked, the Skeletal Warriors rushed over at once.

After attacking twice and seeing that it was of no use, the monster turned around and fled.

The Skeletal Mages launched an attack.

Without giving it a chance to escape, the Skeletal Mages unleashed an overwhelming offensive.

At the same time, Lin Moyu’s Detection flew out.

[Leygazer (super enhanced elite monster)]

[Level: 28]

[Strength: 500]

[Agility: 2,000]

[Spirit: 6,500]

[Physique: 3,000]

[Skill: Destructive Beam]

”So it’s a Mage-type monster.”

Seeing the high spirit attribute, Lin Moyu realized that this monster belongs to the Mage category.

Mage-type monsters are quite common. But this is the first time he has seen such a pure Mage-type monster.

Compared to ordinary monsters of the same level, its strength attribute is not up to par.

It looks as if its spirit attribute was maximized.

The power of the Destructive Beam is indeed quite considerable.

With just one strike, it almost shattered Lin Moyu’s Bone Armor.

The key point is that it can fly and launch attacks from 100 meters away.

And when it finds that its attacks are ineffective, it can run away.

This shows that it’s really not easy to deal with this monster.

However, there are many Skeletal Mages under Lin Moyu’s command, and the attack power they can unleash is scary.

Under a round of concentrated fire, the Leygazer was killed in an instant.

[Killed level 28 Leygazer, EXP +420,000]

[Obtained elementary Leygazer core]

[Elementary Leygazer core: a magic item that Alchemists can use to refine items and Formation Master can use to lay formations]

Lin Moyu took a glance at the Leygazer core and then put it away.

This thing seems quite useful, but its rank is too low.

Anything that is elementary rank is basically used below level 40.

Once it exceeds level 40, it is considered intermediate rank.

Above level 70, it is classified as advanced rank.

Generally speaking, except for some special items, anything that is of elementary rank won’t be too valuable.

After going through this experience, Lin Moyu began to pay attention to the sky.

The Skeletal Warriors also paid attention to the sky as they advanced.

Soon, a huge construction appeared in sight.

It looks like a castle.

Outside the castle, there are huts arranged in an array.

It’s a military camp, with numerous Beastmen moving about.

In the military camp, there is even a drill ground, where military formations are practiced.

Lin Moyu started to understand the meaning behind the word tyrant.

It means king.

The monsters in the military camp have a lion head, a body covered in fur, and a height of more than three meters.

They are wearing armor, and their movements are orderly, looking quite imposing.

These aren’t scattered monster that can be easily taken down one by one.

In here, if you aren’t careful, you will have to face more than 10 monsters at the same time.

These are no ordinary monsters, but super enhanced elite monsters.

They are more powerful than monsters of the same level in nightmare rank dungeons.

Even if it’s a party of 40, they will find it very challenging to deal with them.

And it will require good cooperation, top-notch equipment, and comprehensive skills.

Unless...

Unless it’s someone like Lin Moyu, who can crush anything in their way with absolute force.

The Skeletal Warriors initiated a charge.

The Skeletal Mages followed closely behind.

The Leygazer floating above the military camp discovered the Skeletal Warriors in a flash.

A warning was immediately issued. The gate of the military camp opened, and a troop of more than 100 individuals rushed out.

This is a gameplay that is characteristic of Lin Moyu.

At this time, he wondered what others would have done in his place.

They would probably first have a long-range class user draw over the Leygazer and then eliminate it.

Then gradually eliminate the monsters in the military camp.

After all, facing the Beastman army directly like him would be suicidal.

Lin Moyu forged ahead together with the Skeletal Mages and released Detection.

[Desert Lionman Warrior (super enhanced elite monster)]

[Level: 28]

[Strength: 6,500]

[Agility: 5,000]

[Spirit: 2,000]

[Physique: 5,000]

[Skills: none]

Compared to the flying ants, the Lionman Warriors have higher strength and agility.

The high strength and agility greatly enhances their combat power.

On the other hand, their physique is lower than that of the ants, only 5,000.

Unlike the ants, they have no carapace protecting their body.

Seeing the armor they were wearing, Lin Moyu felt that the 5,000 points of physique may be a bit exaggerated.

Before the Skeletal Warriors and the Lionman Warriors collided, the skills of the Skeletal Mages have already arrived.

Skill: Flame Burst!

Skill: Frozen Tempest!

Skill: Cyclone Storm!

Skill: Thunderstruck!

Fire, ice, wind, lightning, skills of the four elements rained down on the Lionmen.

There are both single target and AOE attacks.

With their extremely high spirit attribute, the attack power of the Skeletal Mages’ skills is even higher than that of the Skeletal Warriors.

Under a round of concentrated fire, several Lionman Warriors collapsed to the ground.

At this time, Lin Moyu raised his palm.

Skill: Corpse Explosion!

Following a loud blast, the vicinity was cleared.

[Killed level 28 Desert Lionman Warrior, EXP +390,000]

[Obtained Lionman leather x5]

Within a range of 60 meters, no Lionman Warrior was able to survive.

EXP soared like a rocket.

Lionman Warriors continued to pour out of the military camp, but they couldn’t stop Lin Moyu’s advance.

No matter how many of them come, they are but lambs to the slaughter.

Suddenly, a corpse was thrown into the air.

Subsequently, it was detonated.

The Leygazer, which has been floating in the air, was killed on the spot and fell with a bang.

Regarding Corpse Explosion, Lin Moyu finds it more comfortable the more he uses it.

He has a feeling that the skill will level up after a few more uses.

The Skeletal Warriors barged into the military camp without a care for the Lionman Warriors inside and unleashed a massacre.

In an instant, the monsters in the military camp were wiped out.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Arrows fell like rain from the sky.

A large number of Archers appeared on the castle’s outwall.

[Desert Lionman Archer (super enhanced elite monster)]

[Level: 29]

[Strength: 5,000]

[Agility: 6,500]

[Spirit: 1,500]

[Physique: 4,500]

[Skill: Trueshot]

The Skeletal Warriors brandished their blades and blocked the arrows that were as densely packed as raindrops.

The castle’s outwall is 50 meters high. The Skeletal Warriors jumped up and then climb up the outwall.

But the arrows possess formidable attack power. Despite several attempts, the Skeletal Warriors were still repelled halfway.

Standing below the outwall, the Skeletal Mages began to engage the Archers.

Different spells erupted and killed the Archers one after another.

However, there were more Archers filling the gaps.

The dead Archer collapsed on the outwall. Since his sight was blocked, Lin Moyu was unable to lock on them and use Corpse Explosion.

The best way to breach a castle is to break through from the gate.

Some Skeletal Warriors have already rushed to the front of the gate and chopped with their large blades.

The gate is very sturdy, holding firmly against the attacks.

The rain of arrows coming from the outwall never stopped.

”Since it’s not possible to go from above, then let’s blow up the gate!”

”Attack the gate with all your might.”
