Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

68 - Pushing Ahead; Cover Your Ears

The 20 Skeletal Warriors pushed ahead.

No matter what enhanced elite monster it is, if it stood in their way, it would be swept away all the same.

Basically, no monster could survive for more than five seconds.

”There aren’t many monsters in this dungeon.”

The monsters in this dungeon are few and far between, leading to a slow rise in EXP.

If he could draw a bunch of monsters together, and then use Corpse Explosion, that would be great.

He didn’t release any more Skeletal Warriors, since it wouldn’t increase efficiency.

Jiang Taotao never imagined that raiding a dungeon could be this simple.

Every time she raids a dungeon, she is the one most tired.

A Knight has to stand in the front and pay attention to the attacks of monsters.

A Knight has to attract the hatred of monsters and protect their teammates.

Then what about now? She just has to stay behind and doesn’t have to lift a finger.

”Necromancer, this class is awesome.”

Jiang Taotao thought to herself.

Duan Gao and Miao Yu had the same thought.

After entering the dungeon, a winding passage, reminiscent of a cave, appeared in front of them.

The humidity in the dungeon is heavier than outside. And in addition to the fishy smell, there is also a smell of decay in the air.

Ning Yiyi has been covering her nose since they entered the dungeon.

After walking for a while, they finally arrived at the end of the passage.

A huge cavern appeared ahead.

From the passage to the bottom of the cavern, there is a jump of 50 plus meters.

In the center of the cavern, there is a coiled giant python.

The python is at least 30 meters in length and has a girth of more than one meter.

Pitch-black scales cover its body like armor, reflecting a metallic luster.

The arrival of Lin Moyu and company attracted the attention of the python, and it looked at them with its huge eyes.

So long as they jump down, they will be attacked by the python.

Detection flew out.

[Mermaid Queen’s Pet Serpent (elite leader)]

[Level: 23]

[Strength: 3,600]

[Agility: 5,500]

[Spirit: 3,000]

[Physique: 5,000]

[Skills: Flail, Death Coil, Venom]

It’s such a large python, yet it is actually called Mermaid Queen’s Pet Serpent.

Its name is a bit funny.

The python is the monster with the highest attributes Lin Moyu has seen so far.

Its attributes are much higher than those of the Goblin King.

It is already rather close to the Skeletal Warriors in terms of attributes, and even exceeds them in terms of agility.

Jiang Taotao spoke without hesitation, ”I’ll attract its attention.”

Lin Moyu shook his head, ”There’s no need.”

Before anyone could react, the Skeletal Warriors had already darted down.

Lin Moyu still hasn’t released any more Skeletal Warriors.

In his opinion, 20 Skeletal Warriors are more than enough.

The Skeletal Warriors jumped one after another and lunged toward the python.

The python soared into the air and, along with a series of bangs, flung several Skeletal Warriors away.

Skill: Flail!

The python swung its tail and flung several Skeletal Warriors away.

Of the 20 Skeletal Warriors, half were knocked away in the first round.

The python’s response was unexpectedly quick.

The remaining Skeletal Warriors were also unable to land on it.

The python slithered rapidly in the cavern, continuously flinging Skeletal Warriors away with its huge tail.

Only a small fraction of the attacks of the Skeletal Warriors were able to land, and they couldn’t even use their skill in time.

The Skeletal Warriors appear to be in a passive state, but they haven’t suffered too much damage.

After all, their physique attribute has reached 5,400 points.

Jiang Taotao watched on anxiously, ”It’s too nimble. What now?”

Lin Moyu said in a low voice, ”It’s fine.”

His palm emitted faint light, and he pointed at the python.

Skill: Slowing Curse.

A red radiance suddenly appeared in the cavern, and everyone heard a soft buzzing sound.

Something terrible seems to have descended.

A red chain pattern appeared on the top of the python’s head.

In an instant, the python’s speed dropped.

Its speed dropped by half.

This time, the Skeletal Warriors easily caught the python.

The blades in their hands fell heavily and slashed the python’s scales fiercely.

Then their skill broke out, causing greater damage to the python.

Blood splattered and scales broke.

The python hissed incessantly.

”Is this a curse?” Jiang Taotao recognized the red pattern on the python’s head at a glance.

Lin Moyu nodded, ”It is.”

Necromancer is not merely a Summoner class, but also a Mage class.

The python, who lost its speed advantage, could only engage in direct combat with the Skeletal Warriors.

Skill: Death Coil.

The python activated its skill and coiled around several Skeletal Warriors.

The Skeletal Warriors were squeezed with tremendous force, making hair-raising cracking sounds.

However, the Skeletal Warriors are too sturdy. Although the cracking sounds were frightening, but in fact, it wasn’t anything serious.

Moreover, the entangled Skeletal Warriors never stopped brandishing their blades.

Blades landed on the python one after another.

Unable to bear it, the python released the Skeletal Warriors and sprayed it venom.

In an instant, a nauseating smell filled the cavern.

The Skeletal Warriors were doused with the venom. Lin Moyu sensed that they received some damage, but it still wasn’t very serious.

With the four attributes balanced and a lack of the senses of pain and fear, the Skeletal Warriors are nearly perfect.

The python exhausted every method at its disposal, but still wasn’t able to deal with the Skeletal Warriors.

After two minutes, the python collapsed on the ground with a bang.

There is a shade of unwillingness in its eyes.

[Killed level 23 Mermaid Queen’s Pet Serpent, EXP +50,000]

[Obtained silver rank protective equipment, Serpent Skin Armor]

[Obtained intermediate monster core]

Jiang Taotao’s lips twitched, and she asked in disbelief, ”Is it over just like that?”

”It is.”

As he spoke, Lin Moyu jumped down, and then landed steadily at the bottom of the cavern.

Jiang Taotao and company were in a daze, unable to react momentarily.

Ning Yiyi smiled brightly. The more Lin Moyu revealed his abilities, the happier she became.

”Stop spacing out. Let’s get moving.”

With that, she jumped, and then fell like a butterfly.

Compared to Lin Moyu, she is much more graceful.

Jiang Taotao and company finally snapped out of the stupor, and then jumped down one after another.

After crossing the cavern, a blue sky entered everyone’s eyes.

A magnificent palace appeared ahead.

It is the Mermaid Queen’s palace.

The fishy smell suddenly disappeared without a trace.

Instead, a faint fragrance filled the air.

The environment has undergone significant changes, becoming clean and tidy.

At the entrance of the palace, there are patrol teams.

Each patrol team is composed of three Mermaid-type monsters.

They are equipped with armor and tridents and look quite impressive.

No one used Detection. After all, that would attract the attention of the Mermaid-type monsters.

The patrol teams aren’t spaced far apart. If they aren’t careful, they will attract them all.

”1, 2, 3...”

”I’ll be damned, there are 60 patrol teams, for a total of 180 Mermaid-type monsters.”

Ning Yiyi counted the monsters and clicked her tongue. The number of monsters is a bit scary.

Jiang Taotao added, ”And it looks like they’re all enhanced elite monsters.”

It is difficult to deal with a single such monster, while dealing with three should be practically the limit.

With Jiang Taotao’s experience, she would pick three monsters in a corner, draw them over, and gradually dispose of them.

Then rinse and repeat.

It may take time and effort, but it’s fairly safe.

Ning Yiyi looked at Lin Moyu, ”There are so many monsters. What now?”

Lin Moyu was happy to see so many monsters.

When it comes to monsters, the more the better.

”It’s simple.”

After his words have fallen, the 20 Skeletal Warriors had already rushed out.

The appearance of the Skeletal Warriors immediately caught the attention of the Mermaid-type monsters.

Patrol teams chased after the Skeletal Warriors.

Drawing monsters?

Is he trying to draw away so many monsters?

This is not a bad idea.

While the Skeletal Warriors were attracting their attention, Lin Moyu’s Detection followed suit.

[Mermaid Elite Soldier (elite enhanced monster)]

[Level: 22]

[Strength: 2,200]

[Agility: 1,400]

[Spirit: 1,000]

[Physique: 2,400]

[Skill: Daze Swipe]

Having checked the attributes of the Mermaid Elite Soldiers, a clear picture appeared in his mind.

Shortly after, the 180 Mermaid Elite Soldiers were pulled together by the Skeletal Warriors.

Then the Skeletal Warriors ran straight toward Lin Moyu, followed by the monsters.

Jiang Taotao’s scalp turned numb -- what is Lin Moyu doing...

The Skeletal Warriors stopped 60 meters away from Lin Moyu, then turned around and unleash their skill.

The Mermaid Elite Soldiers unleashed their own skill in turn.

The tridents in their hands broke out with light and swept over.

Skill: Berserk Strike.

Skill: Daze Swipe.

The two skills collide, and the light of the skills soared like fireworks.

The attributes of the Skeletal Warriors are too high. In particular, after having unleashed their skill, the offensive power of the Skeletal Warriors has exceeded that of the Mermaid Elite Soldiers several-fold.

The Skeletal Warriors won the confrontation.

A Mermaid Elite Soldier collapsed to the ground with a thud.

”Cover your ears.” Lin Moyu said to Ning Yiyi.

”Oh.” Ning Yiyi quickly covered her ears.

Before Jiang Taotao and company could understand what’s going on, there was a loud explosion that nearly threw them to the ground.

A series of explosions followed suit.

Skill: Corpse Explosion!

After several thunderous blares, things calmed down.

Jiang Taotao and company were stunned by the notifications flooding in.

”This...”

”My goodness, what the hell happened.”

”How could this be? What did he do...”

”What skill is this? Big Bang? Why is it so powerful?”

None of the Mermaid Elite Soldiers survived.

A wealth of EXP and materials were reaped.

This is the first time that Jiang Taotao and company have experienced such a thing.

They seem to be extremely excited.

Amid the explosions, the gate of the Mermaid Queen’s palace opened with a rumble.
