Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

77 - No One Will Be Able To Break It In The Next 100 Years

More than 100 people gazed at the light screen, unable to believe their eyes.

The sound of swallowing rose repeatedly.

Someone pointed at the new record on the light screen, a look of incredulity on their face.

”Is this possible?”

”A single person cleared a nightmare rank dungeon.”

”Although it is only a level 17 dungeon, but it isn’t something that one person can handle.”

”This is not the key point. Look at the time. It only took him 50 minutes, which is nine minutes faster than the previous record.”

”How did he do it?”

”The class of the guy called Lin Moyu is Necromancer. What class is this? I’ve never heard of it before.”

Everyone shook their heads.

”I haven’t heard of it either. It should be a new class.”

”Yes, it must be a new class. I’ve never heard of this class before.”

”Could it be a legendary rank class?”

As the discussion raged, Lin Moyu appeared at the dungeon’s entrance.

”He, he’s out.”

”How did you do it?”

”Although there are people who can solo nightmare rank dungeons, but how did you both solo the dungeon and break the record?”

”Boss, can you take me with you?”

...

Lin Moyu was surrounded by a group of people, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly.

He looked up and saw the new record he had set, and then understood what is going on.

Then he paid points to dispel the cooldown period.

In the next moment, Lin Moyu entered the dungeon again.

”He’s going in again.”

”Another solo raid?”

”Is he going on a solo raid again? Is he not tired?”

”Let’s give him some space, or else it’ll only spook him. After all, he is only level 17.”

”That’s right. For a level 30 class user to call him boss and ask to be taken along... do you have no shame?”

Amidst the chatter, most of the crowd finally dispersed.

Shu Han was amid the crowd, a shocked expression on her face.

”That’s really amazing.”

”Did he really receive 50 contribution points from a trial?”

Just as Lin Moyu entered the dungeon, his communicator vibrated.

He received a message.

[You have set a new dungeon record for Mutated Forest Dungeon and have obtained 1,000 points and five contribution points. (Can only be earned once)]

Lin Moyu was slightly stunned. It turns out, by setting a new dungeon record, you can not only earn points, but also contribution points.

Unfortunately, you can only do this once per dungeon.

But this is understandable. Otherwise, there would be opportunities to exploit.

Experienced parties can control the time it takes to raid a dungeon, decreasing it by a few seconds each time.

That way, they would be able to continuously create new records and earn a lot of contribution points.

The academy naturally can’t leave such a loophole.

Anyway, the contribution points are an unexpected boon.

Lin Moyu just wants to do level grinding.

The Skeletal Warriors rushed out.

The 108 Skeletal Warriors once again swept the direbeasts in the forest.

Thanks to the experience from last raid, he didn’t get lost this time, and thus his speed increased.

In just over 20 minutes, Lin Moyu has reached the end of the dungeon.

The Skeletal Warriors rushed forward. In the blink of an eye, there were four corpses at the edge of the pool.

A water column rose into the air, and the boss Mutated Serpent Tortoise finally emerged from the pool.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Skill: Corpse Explosion!

Four consecutive explosions sounded.

Water splashed in the air, and the pool’s level suddenly was lowered by a quite a bit.

A large pit appeared on the ground. The Mutated Serpent Tortoise was bruised and battered.

”Flip it over.”

Skeletal Warriors rushed forward at once.

No one has ever used this tactic before.

After all, no other class can have so many summons.

Due to its size and weight, it is usually impossible to flip the Mutated Serpent Tortoise over.

The Mutated Serpent Tortoise let out a roar as it lay on its back, the weakest part in its defense exposed.

From this moment on, its fate has been sealed.

In fact, from the moment it crawled out of the pool, its fate had already been sealed.

The Skeletal Warriors rushed forward and used their skill one after another.

Skill: Berserk Strike!

Large blades shining red landed on its belly.

Blood burst out like from a fountain.

Compared to last time, things have gone much smoother. First it was stunned by the four explosions, and then it ate all-out attacks of the Skeletal Warriors.

In only one minute, the Mutated Serpent Tortoise had died.

[Killed Mutated Serpent Tortoise, EXP +150,000]

[Obtained bronze rank weapon, Serpent Tortoise’s Bow]

[Obtained elementary monster core]

[Serpent Tortoise’s Bow: bronze rank, agility +40, increases the power of bow skills by 6%, usable after level 12]

In Dungeon Hall, the bell rang again.

The people who just left Dungeon Hall ran back again.

”What’s going on? There’s a new record.”

”Why is it Mutated Forest again?”

”I’ll be damned. This result is outrageous.”

”Am I dreaming? This can be real, this can’t be true.”

The new record time was 24 minutes and 32 seconds.

It not only broke through the 30-minute threshold, but even broke through the 25-minute threshold.

The record before today, which hasn’t been broken for more than three years, has been 58 minutes.

And it was set by a party of five, with a nearly perfect configuration.

Soloing a dungeon and setting a record, this is something unimaginable to others.

For them, it was very difficult to break the previous record.

Otherwise, the previous record wouldn’t have stood for more than three years.

”I bet no one will be able to break this record in the next 100 years.”

”Let alone 100 years, I say this record might not be broken in the next 500 years.”

”This is really overbearing.”

”Do you think he will go to other dungeons and set new records.”

”I bet he will. I just can’t figure out how he has done in that tough tortoise boss.”

”That tortoise has an extremely high physique, making it almost immune to physical attacks. Only elemental attacks can cause damage to it.”

”His class is Necromancer, a Mage-type class. It’s not strange for him to possess elemental-type magic skills. However, his speed was just too fast. I have raided this dungeon before. It took my party an hour to just take down the tortoise.”

”I really wonder how he accomplished this. It’s incredible.”

At this moment, Lin Moyu shone brightly. He finally leveled up after the Mutated Serpent Tortoise collapsed.

He reached level 18.

It has been less than half a month since he awakened his class.

That is to say, he went all the way from level 1 to level 18 in less than half a month.

This speed is simply astonishing.

At the same time, the skill Summon Skeletal Worrier has also leveled up, and the four attributes of the Skeletal Warriors rose to 5,800 points.

After going through the two dungeon raids, Lin Moyu has noticed the shortcoming of the Skeletal Warriors.

Although their physical attacks are very powerful, but they are overly specialized.

If he encounters some monster with extremely high physical defense, the efficiency of the Skeletal Warriors will be greatly reduced, or they might even be rendered useless.

The skill Soul Blaze can compensate for this shortcoming. However, it is not efficient enough when dealing with bosses, not to mention that it is limited by the total amount of his spirit force.

”The class Necromancer shouldn’t have only Skeletal Warriors.”

”Let’s proceed with level grinding for now. Once I have reached level 20, I’ll buy some skill scrolls and see if I can acquire new skills.”

He doesn’t plan to use skill scrolls before reaching level 20.

Even if there are still skills to be unlocked, the success rate of skill scrolls has been greatly reduced.

It’s better to wait until he reaches level 20, and then use a bunch of scrolls.

His class is unique. As such, unlike other classes, he can’t use other methods.

Skill scrolls are his only option.

Lin Moyu doesn’t even know how many skills he can have. After all, he is the only Necromancer in history.

There are no reference materials for his class.

As a result, he can only use skill scrolls as much as possible and strive to acquire all skills.

An elementary skill scroll costs 100,000 gold coins, which isn’t very expensive.

But an intermediate skill scroll costs a whopping 10 million gold coins.

”Let’s take it slow. No point overthinking things.”

Lin Moyu appeared outside the dungeon.

He found himself surrounded again.

But unlike last time, the crowd was much calmer.

”Can you tell us how you killed the Mutated Serpent Tortoise?”

”Yes, how did you deal with it so quickly? Do you have any tips for us?.”

Many humbly sought advice from Lin Moyu.

Lin Moyu said lightly, ”Just flip it over.”

Flip it over?

The crowd suddenly had a realization.

Someone exclaimed, ”Right, why didn’t I think of that?”

”The tortoise has a hard shell, but its belly should be relatively soft.”

”That’s right. You just have to flip it over.”

”To be able to come up with such a great solution, he’s a real talent.”

As the crowd chattered on, Lin Moyu walked toward a nearby dungeon.

Level 20 dungeon: Spider Nest.

Entry restrictions between level 18 and level 22.
