Pillar of Yita

However, just as Paradise and Eternal Night and others were busy spreading rumors, planning to induce the shift in the ferry schedules at Iron Cliff Port, a small boat gracefully set sail and swayed out of the harbor.

As expected, Xiuli kept his word and in less than half a day helped the members of the Seven Seas Travel Group connect with the dock, procure supplies and materials. The Seven Seas Traveler had only suffered minor damage in the Storm, and repairs were not difficult. They stayed here for less than half a week, readying themselves to sail again.

Before boarding, Tianlan and Miss Atira settled accounts with the Black Goat Commerce Association, totaling only a few thousand Lycel, more than half of which were dock rental fees. Of course, under normal circumstances it would definitely not be so low, but it was because the other party gave them a very low discount, nearly at cost price.

Before leaving Orlenze, the Seven Seas Traveler had about over eight million Lycel on its books, but subsequently, for the production of Spear Cavalry and the improvement of the Silver Bee, money flowed out like water, leaving about half remaining. Of course, relative to this sum, a few thousand Lycel is nothing, but don’t forget this is just the maintenance cost of an airship at sea for a few days.

No wonder Colin’s old saying goes: ’If you want to go bankrupt, invest in a fleet at sea, it’s like a black hole, endlessly devouring wealth. Just a storm could scatter everything to the winds.’ On the other hand, the airships also continuously bring in wealth, businessmen are not fools, they don’t just throw money away.

Nowadays, the routes connected on the Cloud Sea have long been like the blood vessels maintaining the continents surrounding the Cloud Sea, transporting the lifeblood of wealth. Numerous commercial empires, wealthy enough to rival nations, originated from here.

Fang Hong was lying on the ship’s side of the Seven Seas Traveler, watching airships coming in and out of the Airport, feeling a bit puzzled—how come after just a few days, are there many more airships painted red in the harbor? What are these Fenris people doing, all crowding into this small place?

He couldn’t help but become interested in what was happening at Iron Cliff Port, generally, what matters are even the major forces concerned with? Discovering a new vein, an entirely new unexplored area, a significant event, a highly rewarding mission, or a Lord Level creature.

Any Invoker would be interested in such things, and he was no exception. Moreover, in any case, didn’t these people owe him a favor? It’s not too much for him to seize some advantage, right?

Clearly not excessive.

It’s a pity their time was too tight; otherwise, he would definitely get to the bottom of what exactly these people were doing.

Tang Xin held onto a rope, looking at her elder brother with both hands on the railing, chin resting on his hands, his whole body leaning against the rail as if boneless, she couldn’t help but get a bit angry—Is this what a Captain should look like?

”Hey, are you even listening to me?”

”Huh?”

Tang Xin showed a scornful look: ”Drooling, drooling.”

Fang Hong’s face turned red, thinking he was daydreaming to the point of drooling, he quickly wiped his face, but found there was nothing.

Tang Xin raised her eyebrows angrily: ”You weren’t listening after all.”

”No no no, Tangtang, listen to me explain—”

”I don’t want to hear your crap, go die!”

Lady Noble sat under the mast, watching the siblings from afar, finding it rather amusing. Xiesta stood by her side for a while, suddenly speaking softly: ”Aren’t you worried, miss?”

Hilveld turned her head, her eyes sparkling as she looked at her: ”Worried about what, Xiesta?”

Xiesta looked at her, not speaking; they had been together for years, and naturally, her mistress understood her meaning.

Hilveld smiled sweetly: ”They’re siblings, what’s there to worry about?”

The maid’s eyes showed a bit of doubt, she trusted her mistress, but those ’siblings’ were obviously not siblings anymore.

Hilveld chuckled: ”I’m more worried about another lady; now that’s a truly formidable opponent.”

”Miss, are you referring to?”

Hilveld extended each of her fists with two fingers up, gesturing above her head while making whooshing sounds. Then, with a cunning look, she gave a knowing smile.

”People are truly insatiable, considering that he’s already captivated the heart of the young lady, he should feel fortunate.” Xiesta looked over with a calm gaze.

Hilveld looked at her with some amusement, focusing on her maid for the first time: ”Xiesta, are you complaining to me?”

”I’m not, miss.”

”That’s better.”

She extended a slender white finger, gently tapping her maid’s chest with a nod: ”Xiesta, rest assured, you’re always mine.”

The maid slightly lowered her head.

Just as every beginning must have an end, the once bulging money bag will also face a day when it hits the bottom.

Tang Xin was discussing just such a matter with her cousin, she was actually representing the opinions of Tianlan and Atira—under the name of the Seven Seas Traveler’s Logistics Management Committee—abbreviated as the Logistics Committee, which was the institution Tianlan announced to establish, saying it was more characteristic of China.

Though it’s not clear what characteristic that is.

In any case, with Atira’s tacit approval, this rather playful institution was thus established, with three standing members, namely her—the celestial blue fantasy, Miss Atira, and Tang Xin, while all members of the Seven Seas Travel Group, including Forest, were considered subordinate members of this institution.
