Pillar of Yita

The light in the Demon Dragon’s eyes dimmed, its wings weakly splayed on the ground, wisps of black smoke rising from its body, motionless—

Princess Rupert stared blankly at this scene.

...

Watching as the Giant Dragon wailed and rolled down the cliff until the debris and rubble vanished, only then did Ye Hua and Star withdraw their gaze and look at Seniman in front of them.

They saw a faint shadow converge behind this servant, gradually forming the shape of Demon Dragon Greyflame. Ye Hua couldn’t help but laugh a little: ”Seniman, it seems your plan didn’t succeed much.”

As he spoke, he turned to exchange a glance with Star, then looked again toward the Holy Sanctuary, his eyes involuntarily shining with a hint of appreciation.

Seniman coldly watched the two of them.

Ye Hua expected to see rage, annoyance, or at least surprise on Seniman’s face, but none of that was present. Instead, the Left Minister looked at them and sneered with contempt.

Ye Hua paused slightly, somewhat surprised.

”What, not planning to continue the attack?” Seniman sneered and asked in return, ”My Godly Dika is right there, do you really intend for those two youngsters to meet it?”

”Seniman, stop pretending,” Star spoke at this moment: ”The strength of you three servants is barely enough to hold Ye Hua and me here. At this moment, trying to interfere with our judgment through words to spare your hands to stop Ade and Princess Rupert, do you really think it will work?”

Seniman stroked Greyflame’s scales with his thin hand, looking at the two with cold eyes: ”Try? It looks like I understand your plan now, do you plan to keep me in sight here?”

”Not just you, but all of you,” Ye Hua replied: ”Seniman, you should understand that King of Sand Barbaltan has long been aware of your plans. Since you three servants are working together in one place, can you still spare others to stop the Grand Princess?”

”Do you really believe that, Chairman Ye?”

A voice echoed from within the valley at that moment.

Ye Hua paused slightly and turned to look. From within the Forest, white light blinked, suddenly opening pathways of Light Gates, from which masked figures in black robes emerged.

He saw the emblem on their cloaks and couldn’t help but slightly gasp in surprise. The black and red Shield Emblem with the shadow of Giant Dragon flame on it—who else could the protagonist of the Airlanta farce—Dragonfire Guild be?

Although the Southern Alliance does not develop in Rainbow Bay, after the Dolifen incident, the name of this guild through Stargate Port had long spread across the Third District. The Southern Alliance had also privately collaborated with the military, naturally knowing the inside story of Dolifen at that time.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have recognized Fang Hong so easily.

Once the Dragonfire Guild members had walked out of the Light Gate, Seniman looked toward that direction and spoke coldly: ”Ye Hua, do you think only Barbaltan has external reinforcements, while your Holy Chosen are truly united?”

Ye Hua looked at those people with a calm face, not speaking for a moment.

Seniman sneered slightly and continued: ”Do you really think I don’t know who that kid is? I didn’t witness the events in Fanric firsthand. But don’t you consider, who first let them come into contact with the Grand Princess?”

Star paused slightly, a frown knitting his silent face.

”After experiencing the Dolifen incident, Dragonfire Guild members know well who is behind the scenes. Moreover, after the battle at Fanric, that young man stirred up trouble, obstructing the plan—do you really think they are fools, unaware of this?” Seniman raised his voice: ”Ye Hua, I certainly know that Barbaltan has suspicions about us, and I’m even clearer about your plans; Ravac, you and Delan’s plotting over the past decade, do you really think it hasn’t leaked at all?”

Star raised his head, his expression changing.

”You might not understand why we chose them to contact the Grand Princess, precisely because we know you would certainly communicate with him. After all, you have met in Dulun once, haven’t you?” Seniman continued: ”Besides Ravac, I know you and Delan can’t possibly ignore the holder of Pale Glory, as I expected. Speaking of which, I must thank you, without you, it would have been difficult for me to bring him into this world...”

Ye Hua looked at Star beside him and spoke in a stern voice: ”What do you intend to do to Ade?”

”Firstly, for revenge,” at this moment, a person stepped out from the Dragonfire Guild crowd, looked up at Star and Ye Hua above, and spoke loudly: ”Secondly, both of you should understand the significance of Pale Glory for Dika, right?”

Upon hearing the latter openly call Blind God Dika’s name, Seniman slightly raised his brows but did not speak.

The person continued: ”Chairman Ye Hua, you brought that youngster into this world, surely you won’t just watch him walk into death? Actually, we are not incapable of giving up revenge.”

Ye Hua silently listened to the voice, feeling somewhat familiar.

Seeing him not respond, the person spoke again: ”Chairman Ye Hua, I ask you, despite the Super Competitive League targeting your Southern Alliance, has Stargate Port once stood up for justice this year?”

”Or, extending the timeframe over the past half-century, those people monopolize all outputs of the Stargate, seemingly having long forgotten the original purpose of humans opening the Stargate. But now what is the Stargate? It is merely a tool monopolized by major capital groups, and a stage for great powers’ struggles.”
