Pillar of Yita

”Here, your actions depend solely on the speed of your thoughts; your strength depends solely on the limit of your will.”

”Upon entering this world, you must learn to abandon conventional combat methods. Here, the confrontation between people is a battle between mind and thought—”

He turned his head back, ”Do you understand what I mean?”

Fang Hong shook his head, how could one understand this.

”Well, have you ever seen a ’Time Barrier’ and ’Rock Prison’ like that?”

Fang Hong paused for a moment and exchanged glances with Princess Rupert, then sincerely shook his head again.

Seniman snorted coldly: ”Where did you find this country bumpkin Dragon Knight, Ye, who cannot even truly resonate with his own Dragon Soul. Isn’t it a bit late to teach him this now?”

As he spoke, he pointed with his finger. With a ’whoosh’, the rock prison suddenly crumbled, and several giant-like guards climbed out from underneath, covered in mud.

Star groaned and stepped back, placing his hand on his towering Construct, he gently clenched his fist, causing Yinhanz Type IV to deploy the ’Time Barrier’ once more.

But this time, Seniman pointed with his bony finger, instantly dispersing the gray barrier.

He then turned back around and pointed the tip of his staff at Ye Hua and the others.

”Go teach in hell—”

With a loud noise, before Fang Hong’s stunned gaze, half of the mountainside surged, transforming into a rushing mudslide rolling toward them.

This was indeed an Earthquake Technique, but even Sir Roban couldn’t cast a spell of this level, could he? What level has this Seniman reached?

Yet upon seeing this, he turned back, whispered something to his Dragon Soul in a deep, cryptic language that sounded like Dragon Language. The woman’s shadow nodded gently, gazing in that direction.

Her sapphire-like eyes, veiled in shadows, twinkled slightly, and the mudslide vanished like a phantom. Behind her, the giant-like guards were frozen in place as if struck by an Immobility Spell.

Seeing this, Seniman clenched his teeth but briefly reconsidered before putting his staff back down.

Ye Hua then turned back to Fang Hong, who was somewhat stupefied, and said:

”Do you see? Here, your ability depends on your imagination—”

Fang Hong asked instinctively: ”Imagination, similar to a Natural Historian’s ability?”

Ye Hua shook his head: ”That’s too broad; a Natural Historian uses the magic power within words and bytes to simulate similar strength with ancient Magic Guided Books. What the Natural Historian pays, besides activating the spell, is only Mana Value—”

”But here, you must calculate everything you need and envision every detail, which is an impossible level for mortals. But the Dragon Soul, as a purely spiritual entity, possesses near infinite will and spiritual power, allowing it to achieve—”

”Ade, you must learn to communicate with your Dragon Soul and let it assist you in achieving all this.”

Fang Hong was slightly dazed: ”Communicate with my Dragon Soul?”

Ye Hua nodded: ”I’ve seen your few combats where the Dragon Soul was involved, but in those battles, you seemed to use its strength passively and haven’t learned how to communicate with your Dragon Soul, right?”

Fang Hong was baffled, he had never communicated with his Dragon Soul? Yet Dragon Knights are few, and external experiences are even rarer; ’R’ never taught him anything of such high level.

After all, why would a Combat Artisan learn Dragon Soul abilities?

Can a Combat Artisan become a Dragon Knight?

While Miss Tata taught him a few things, even Miss Tata’s memories of the Silver Tower were fragmented, and what she knew might not be the full knowledge of a Dragon Knight.

This Ranger Ten King said that in combat he was passively using Miss Tata’s power, maybe this ’communication’ isn’t the same as what he thinks?

With a mindset of eager learning, he looked at the other party with some doubt.

”How should I communicate with the Dragon Soul?”

Seniman scoffed upon hearing this.

Ye Hua raised his head, looking at the other: ”Seniman, your entity died in the Phantom Sea, and this avatar has never left this world. So, you probably don’t know what’s happened in Fanric, right?”

Seniman was slightly taken aback.

Ye Hua chuckled: ”Then can you guess how your entity died?”

”Was it you?” Seniman’s face grew dark.

Beside Barbaltan, there are only a few who can threaten his entity, and this Holy Chooser’s Ten King is surely among them. Besides that, he truly can’t fathom how the Blind Followers could have failed in the Phantom Sea adventure.

The mountainside trembled slightly at this moment.

A giant shadow suddenly appeared behind Seniman.

He was comfortable taking his time with these people, for as long as they didn’t disturb Lord Dika’s revival, time forever favored them.

But now, listening to the other’s words, a hint of coldness flashed in Seniman’s eyes for the first time, although Lord Dika promised everlasting immortality to all followers, but the immortality within the Divine Kingdom—

Ultimately, how could it compare to the richness and vibrancy in the Prime Material Realm?

Ye Hua watched the changing emotions in his eyes, his face expressionless.

He gently placed his hand on Fang Hong’s shoulder and whispered: ”Ade, not everyone can awaken their Dragon Soul, though passively accepting the Dragon Soul’s strength can be deemed as a Dragon Knight—”

”But the power of the Dragon Soul is far stronger than you imagine, try to awaken it, and tell it what you need, rather than passively accepting its strength—”

”Awaken... awaken her?”

Fang Hong looked bewilderedly at his shoulder’s side, where Miss Tata was elegantly kneeling, watching him, and slowly blinking.

Suddenly he felt something off, turned back, and asked: ”Great God Ye Hua, communicating with the Dragon Soul, does it mean conversing with her?”

”Almost,” Ye Hua replied, ”Once your Dragon Soul awakens, it will tell you how to go about it.”

He looked up at Seniman who was chanting quietly, lowering his voice again: ”The power of the Dragon Soul decides your strength in this world, Ade.”

”Go activate your strength and take Princess along, find Dika.”

”No,” Fang Hong quickly replied, since his Dragon Soul Miss is seemingly always awake, right? Moreover, he hadn’t conversed with Miss Tata during combat, but isn’t there a mind-link between Dragon Soul and Dragon Knight?

With mind-link, they can know each other’s thoughts, negating the need for communication and conversation.

He possesses this ability with Tata and Nini, doesn’t he?

But before he could speak, a deep rumble resonated down from the mountainside.

Seniman wielded his staff high above, pointing forward. The massive shadow behind him rose tall as if spreading wings.

Ye Hua then gave him no chance to speak, pressing him backward. ”But—” Fang Hong wanted to say something, but the gigantic shadow had already loomed from Seniman’s direction.

It was a dragon—

A dragon completely shrouded in black.
