Pillar of Yita

”Get behind me.” Ye Hua raised his head, silently watching the shadow rise to cover the sky, extending a hand to press Fang Hong and Princess Rupert back.

Fang Hong also watched this scene, swallowing his words. In the distance, the shadow waved its black wings like smoke and dust, splitting into seven evil dragons, among which were a pair of familiar, golden-red eyes, falling into the pitch-black dust, shimmering with chilling cold light - the Golden Flame Eyes.

Nikopolas’ Dragon’s Eye, yet it did not solely belong to it.

Among those black dragons dancing and swirling in mid-air, Fang Hong thought of another name, Dragon King Lifegard, and the other six dragons summoned by Seniman were clearly one of the ancient evil dragons from the Era of the Giant War.

The Star of Calamity Verdant once brought along the Dark Giant Dragon and Giants, and with the power of Dika, Seniman once again summoned them here.

Ye Hua took a step back with his right foot, his hands also moving behind his waist, softly grasping the hilt of two blades, and slowly drew a pair of curved blades from beneath the Magic Guided Reactor. The blades in his hands were like ice and snow, their edges covered in frost, as per their name - Frostbite. The wind from the Sky Sea brushed the island, lifting the Ranger King’s dark cloak as if it were a flag.

Lifegard’s shadow led the charge, with wings spread wide, diving straight down. But after all, it was just a phantom; the full strength of Dika might not necessarily match the former. Furthermore, the shadow summoned by Seniman was merely the tip of the iceberg of this half-plane.

Ye Hua swapped the curved blade from his reverse grip to a forward grip, glanced back and whispered something like a dragon’s roar. Beside him, the shadow of a pitch-black female slightly nodded and replied something.

Before Fang Hong could hear clearly, he saw the Ranger King raise the curved blade and step forward—at that moment, the Dragon Soul transformed into a shadow, merging into the light of the blade. As the blade slashed across, it seemed to draw a faint trace in the air, stretching horizontally for a hundred meters.

The fissure slashed through the middle of Dragon King Lifegard’s body, cutting the shadow evenly in half, up and down, and in Fang Hong’s eyes, severing it cleanly. The phantom of the Dragon King cried out in agony as it tumbled down the mountain.

After Ye Hua passed through Lifegard’s shadow, he continued forward as the Dragon Soul separated from his blade, rejoining him on the left and right. Two evil dragons charged down from both sides, their claws gripping the steps, causing the slates to burst and scatter.

The Grand Princess swung her longsword, clinking as it blocked the debris, and the wings of the two evil dragons swept forward, gusts blowing at their faces, causing both to lean back.

But at that moment, a shadow appeared ahead—it was Ye Hua’s Dragon Soul. She raised her right hand to block one of the evil dragons. Fang Hong widened his eyes, only seeing a mass of black dust gathering on the Dragon Soul’s right hand, instantly forming a construct giant claw, ’boom,’ solidly blocking the evil dragon.

He saw clearly; that evil dragon had five horns, precisely the Demon Dragon Greyflame slain by the Morning Light Holy Sword. And the claw on Ye Hua’s Dragon Soul was none other than the image of the right arm of Ye Hua’s Dragon Knight Rigging.

The Dragon Knight of the Ten Kings is naturally well known, Fang Hong wouldn’t mistake it. Ye Hua’s Dragon Soul was transforming into his Dragon Knight Rigging—Xifu, the image of the Jungle Blade.

Yet Magic Guided Constructs are crafted by artisans, and while Dragon Knight Rigging is a more special category among them, aside from being controlled by specialized Dragon Souls, there’s no essential difference from the flexible constructs of combat artisans.

Never heard before, Dragon Souls could directly transform into Dragon Knight Rigging.

Fang Hong was watching, utterly astonished, not understanding, when a voice came from behind him: ”Don’t just look at appearances.”

Fang Hong turned his head, seeing Star walk up from below, with four giant guards standing statue-like below. After Seniman placed attention on this side, Star too was liberated.

Star walked with a giant wolf beside him, the giant wolf shaking its black fur, evidently his Dragon Soul. He placed his hand upon the wolf’s head, as if sensing his intention, the latter let out a low hum, suddenly transforming into a mist, merging into the tall shell of Yinhanz Four-Type beside him.

Seeing Fang Hong open his mouth, Star proactively interrupted him: ”I know what you want to ask, I’m not a pure Alchemist—it perhaps used to be the case, but not now. Moreover, aren’t you an Alchemist too, possessing a Dragon Soul doesn’t necessarily mean becoming a Dragon Knight.”

Fang Hong thought, he did want to become a Dragon Knight, and besides, Miss Tata was not an ordinary Dragon Soul.

Though what he truly wanted to ask wasn’t this question. ”Great God Ye Hua’s Dragon Soul?”

”That’s not the ability of his Dragon Soul.”

Star silently looked in that direction, reached out and tapped Fang Hong’s chest: ”And didn’t he tell you? The combat in this world is vastly different from what you imagine. Aren’t you a craftsman? Why not learn to see this world from another perspective.”

”Another perspective?”

Turning back, Fang Hong saw Ye Hua’s Dragon Soul completely transformed into his Dragon Knight Rigging—’Xifu’, its form, the tall construct raised both arms, fully blocking the Demon Dragon Greyflame, clutching its claw tightly, lifting it up.

Greyflame let out a painful howl, forcibly wrenched from the ground by the Dragon Knight Rigging, and the latter, exerting force, flung Greyflame straight down from the mountainside, into the valley, disintegrating into a cloud of dust.
