Pillar of Yita

”The construction of Area B of Stargate Port is nearing completion, and the United Nations has decided to further increase the scale of Invoker entries. Within two years, the number of Invokers will double, and within five years, it will triple. By that time, nearly one percent of Earthlings will enter Eteliria.”

”Three months ago, the Osh Empire, as the last native country, officially passed this proposal. The plan has now entered the implementation stage. As of yesterday, the first round of selection on Earth has ended, and it can be expected that Invoker activities will enter a rapid growth phase within four months.”

”Next, more people will enter this world, and naturally, more people will head to the Second World.”

”Under such a major premise, the current configuration will soon change. In anticipation of this situation, countries have actively responded. The Alliance restructuring domestic guilds is precisely to better consolidate strength, and we are not just taking; those second and third-tier guilds that joined the plan have also gained substantial benefits.”

Behind the young man wearing silver-rimmed glasses, another person finally spoke. Fang Hong glanced at the latter, realizing that he was a representative of the Super Competitive League.

The other party, courteous and eloquent, said, ”For instance, the transportation capacity to the Second World results from a year of tireless work in the major shipyards of Colin Ishurian by the major guilds. The Alliance exerted significant influence to persuade them to give up some transportation capacity for the domestic competition districts—”

The Lion Paladin glanced at Luo Yu.

He coughed, tapped the table with his claws, and replied, ”Excuse me, but according to you, the results seem far from what you expected. I heard that in the past two to three months, some Free Guilds have disbanded. Is this what you call ’consolidating strength’?”

”It’s a process of eliminating the weak and retaining the strong. Some losses are inevitable during integration, but the reorganized Free Guilds will be more powerful.”

With his lips tightly closed, Luo Yu finally spoke: ”The Tabopolis Knights Order, the Southern Region Alliance, and the Ishurian Eastern Economic Community are the three largest Free Guild Alliances in the Third District. Now all three have collapsed, leaving behind only those supposedly stronger?”

”This happened because they were accustomed to unrestrained growth,” a somewhat frivolous voice answered, from a third young man: ”Imagine how a group of unruly people can stand in even more intense competition in the near future?”

”Who are you calling unruly?”

Luo Yu’s face darkened, and he immediately stood up from his seat.

As he stood, it triggered a chain reaction; Fang Hong, Xiangzi, the Big Cat People, Luo Hao, and Parker also stood up—Ai Xiaoxiao glanced at a few people and curiously pushed back her chair to stand up too.

The Descendants of Flor’s Invoker on the other side also stepped forward—’crash,’ chairs toppled all over the place—both sides confronted each other, the atmosphere instantly tense. Witnessing this, the young man who spoke remained unfazed, but the official who spoke earlier nervously stepped back, uncertain and looking at everyone.

Under the table, Parker glanced around—only to find himself appearing even shorter after jumping from his chair and standing on the ground, as if he was an entire person missing from the scene.

He then climbed onto a chair, standing on top, mischievously exclaimed: ”Wait, wait, wait, as far as I know, the Free Invoker Movement is unfolding in great momentum in the Second World. Since the Verfolan event, many guild Invokers now choose the path of freedom. Speaking of competitiveness, it seems the major guilds aren’t doing so well either—”

These words prompted the young man to snort coldly: ”Absolute nonsense.”

He looked at Parker and taunted: ”You’re not an Invoker from the domestic district, are you? This is a Third District internal matter, not for you to comment on.”

But Parker, as if he didn’t hear the second half, patted his chest: ”As you can see, I’m a genuine Papalarian, name unchanged both standing and sitting, Momoriko Papak; and as everyone knows, there are no Papalarians in Colin Ishurian, so you’re questioning my origins?”

The little dwarf comically wobbled side to side on the chair, exaggeratedly squeaky voice: ”—I swear by the sparks on the Forging Hammer of the Master of Chongshan, never in this life have I heard such a stupid question.”

The young man’s forehead veins bulged.

If not self-conscious about not being a match for Parker, he might have already started a fight.

He took a breath and said: ”Outsider, I order you to shut up!”

While Parker spewed ’nonsense’: ”I refuse!”

”You—”

”What’s wrong, a Papalarian speaking out righteously, and you can’t retort!?”

Fang Hong was still asking the Big Cat People about the ’Verfolan event,’ only to learn that it was an incident between Invoker guilds at the Hill of Trees, similar to the domestic ’Mount Holy Pact’ event.

He turned back, just in time to hear Parker’s remark, and couldn’t help but roll his eyes. The Papalarians, who worshiped Paviwala, swearing by the sparks on the Forging Hammer of the Master of Chongshan—luckily, no dwarfs were nearby, or else one would have charged up and split this little guy in two with an axe.

But he didn’t mind Parker, only stepping forward to pull Luo Yu, signaling him to calm down a bit. Then he turned to face the senior members of the Descendants of Flor and the officials of the Super Competitive League, and asked:
