Pillar of Yita

”Heh heh, you’re underestimating these old clubs, aren’t you?” Sophie said while glancing curiously at Tansnier in the distance. She hadn’t been to the south of the Silver Sand Desert before; after all, Eteliria was too big, and Istania wasn’t traditionally part of the Third District.

”The sand color here is really quite light. I went to Idus before, where the sand has a reddish hue from the mountain rocks, and I thought the name Silver Sand Sea didn’t quite fit.”

”Where?” Fang Hong grabbed a handful of sand and watched it slowly slip through his fingers: ”Isn’t it just yellow sand?”

”You’re used to seeing it there, of course, but to me, the color is quite light, somewhat like the color of a beach.” Sophie said with a touch of envy: ”If I get the chance, I’d definitely visit Istania; I’ve heard that the customs there are entirely different from the north.”

Fang Hong turned his hand over, clapped off the sand, and asked, ”Sophie, you’ve never been here?”

”I’m part of a guild, you think I can just go wherever I want like you?” Sophie sighed enviously: ”Being a Free Summoner must be nice.”

”There are downsides to being a Free Summoner that you haven’t seen.”

”Cut it out, I don’t need you preaching,” Sophie rolled her eyes at him: ”I personally grew up using guild resources, so of course, I understand that point. Whatever is said, the responsibility to the club must be fulfilled. Plus, Silver Weslan is quite nice.”

That sentence Fang Hong agreed with; among the domestic Grand Guilds he had interacted with, Silver Weslan indeed stood out. Due to Odin’s influence, he had quite an okay impression of ’Twilight of the Gods.’ By contrast, he hadn’t forgotten about that combat in Ash Woods.

Compared to it, Silver Weslan’s style was somewhat different.

This could be seen from the Silver Weslan’s Little Princess in front of him. And after his connection with Stargate Port, he also learned from Su Changfeng that Silver Weslan was one of the domestic clubs most closely cooperating with the military.

”Speaking of Silver Weslan, you haven’t told me, how am I underestimating these clubs?” Fang Hong suddenly remembered and brought the conversation back to the main topic.

”People have likes and dislikes, but a club isn’t a person, it doesn’t act purely on preference,” Sophie answered: ”To you, because of the Morning Dawn Star, the Descendants of Flor are a real enemy. But to the BBK, VE, MOON, and other club alliances behind Descendants of Flor, you’re just a factor that affected their financial reports last quarter. In other words, if they can turn this unfavorable factor into a favorable one, they’ll have no qualms about it.”

”But what if this unfavorable factor remains unfavorable?”

Sophie laughed: ”You’re thinking too highly of yourself, our Mr. Ade; do you think you can cause something as big as Fanric every time?”

She paused suddenly when saying this. Then, the Princess of Silver Weslan couldn’t help but chuckle: ”You seem to really cause such big things every time... Dolifen, Fenris, Fanric.”

”Even the previous Morning Dawn Star incident was quite a stir, oh right, and Traveler’s Rest, Fang Little Sir, you’re indeed a harbinger of trouble.” Sophie grinned mischievously: ”I was originally planning to invite you to see the Silver Bastion, but maybe that’s not such a good idea now.”

Fang Hong felt embarrassed: ”It’s not that I wanted to...”

”That’s the scary part, Fang Little Sir.” Sophie smiled: ”Luckily, most people still separate you from the incidents; they haven’t connected Fenris’s matter with you, and few know the inside story of Dolifen. Otherwise, heh heh heh, you can imagine what your nickname would be—”

”Alright, but you haven’t said what would happen.”

”Let’s not joke; haven’t you noticed? While you’ve caused all sorts of incidents, including Fenris’s case, only two truly impacted the domestic guilds. One was the Morning Dawn Star incident, which wasn’t much related to you, sincerely speaking.”

”The second is Fanric’s case this time. On a long-term view, this will make the domestic Super Competitive League halt for at least four to five months, naturally causing significant impacts on all clubs. But you should be aware, such opportunities don’t come by all the time.”

Such opportunities should be less frequent, Fang Hong thought.

He’s at odds with the Descendants of Flor, but he doesn’t intend to expand the scope to the entire domestic district. Too many times of this, not just the clubs, he’d likely first become the target of domestic Super Competitive fans’ criticism. He may stand against the Descendants of Flor, but he can’t afford to anger the broad ’general public.’

The issue thus reached a stalemate.

However, in Fang Hong’s mind, there was this idea—he doesn’t believe that his activities have no impact on the Descendants of Flor.

Moreover, as the Seven Seas Travel Group grows, the influence will surely increase. Of course, that’s the goal he wants to achieve, he doesn’t harbor such grudges against Descendants of Flor, but he wants them to face the Morning Dawn Star incident.

Make them realize that unjust actions bring tangible losses.

Yet, if that’s the case, how would the BBK, VE, and MOON club alliances behind Descendants of Flor deal with him? Would they siege the Traveler, or reenact the old affairs of Mount Holy Pact, or use some other means? Sophie’s words at least made him understand the Descendants of Flor’s view of him.
