Pillar of Yita

After passing through the second corridor, they finally entered the hall, and Fang Hong immediately saw two figures, one tall and one short, who were none other than Hilveld and Delice. The Little Princess of the Westwood Sibika family raised her hands, holding Hilveld’s hands, slightly furrowing her brow as she discussed something with the former. The little girl occasionally pouted her lips, looking very cute.

Meanwhile, the Uncrowned stood somewhat helplessly behind Delice. Nearby were Luo Yu and Xiangzi, with Xiangzi dressed in a tightly wrapped black coat, revealing only one eye, making him stand out from the others. Yet he was holding a crystal goblet, with a shallow layer of wine inside, its color resembling blood under the candlelight.

Fang Hong quickly turned his head to the side, pretending not to recognize the person.

As he turned, he saw Linen beside the two, who was holding an Omnipotent Plugin and discussing something with Luo Yu. It surprised him a bit; during the days he was injured, Linen visited him several times and surprisingly found common ground with Luo Yu. After all, both were madly in love with Alchemy; one liked Combat Artisans, the other liked creating strange and flexible Constructs. They hit it off right away.

These days, Luo Yu had been acting as a free evaluator for the latter’s works, providing thorough and professional feedback, and he learned a lot too.

Although Luo Yu’s level as a Combat Artisan was average, his vision was high, and he had a solid knowledge base, even surpassing Fang Hong himself in some details and common knowledge—for instance, the rules of artisan competitions, what ’Margin Challenge’ and ’Beast Chess’ are. Fang Hong always thought that Luo Yu simply lacked some talent and luck, but in terms of effort and dedication, most people couldn’t catch up with him even if they tried.

Among the group, only the Uncrowned was facing the door directly, so he immediately saw Fang Hong and his group approaching. He nodded towards their direction immediately. Although the Fanric incident concluded imperfectly, due to Rolin’s betrayal, the political marriage that Count Westwood Sibika initially hoped for also fell apart. Delice no longer needed to worry about being forced to marry someone she didn’t like.

In a way, the two owed Fang Hong an enormous favor.

He patted Delice’s shoulder. ”What are you doing, Uncrowned?” Delice complained as she turned her head to see Fang Hong, Red Leaf, and Atira—while Gita, being too short, was pitifully drowned in the crowd behind. Only then did she show a delighted look, waving her hand and saying in a childish voice, ”Mr. Ade, you came at the right time.”

”What’s up?” Fang Hong asked, but his gaze instinctively moved to the side—today, Hilveld was wearing a light blue evening gown, with a touch of Dragon Redwood dye blush on her face, giving her fair skin a healthy tint. There was a crystal dust dot at the corner of her eye, resembling a tear on a girl.

The noble lady seemed like a sea blue rose, the light veil being the tears and dewdrops on the rose petals, about to bloom into stunning beauty.

Hilveld noticed his gaze and merely shielded her face with a silk fan, a slight smile appearing in her bright eyes under the lowered lashes.

”Don’t just stare at Sister Hilveld, Mr. Ade,” Delice said discontentedly, ”Help me think of a way.”

Fang Hong was embarrassed at being exposed in front of the little girl: ”Hasn’t the matter between you and Rolin already been resolved? What is it now?”

”Who mentioned Rolin? It’s my father,” Delice wrinkled her cute little nose and huffed, ”Rolin is gone, but my father still refuses to see the Uncrowned. At this rate, he’ll sooner or later find another husband for me.”

Only then did Fang Hong understand what she was saying to Hilveld earlier, and he couldn’t help but think that this little girl was indeed precocious. However, he had no interest in meddling in the household affairs of Count Westwood Sibika, and besides, Delice and the Uncrowned weren’t even of matching ages.

Let future matters be dealt with in the future.

He casually brushed off her concerns a couple of times, but Delice was incredibly perceptive, far from being just an ordinary little girl, and immediately gave him an exasperated roll of her eyes. Fortunately, her rolling eyes were light and caused no harm. Fang Hong’s gaze only met with his Miss Ship’s Officer, intending to ask her opinion on today’s events.

But before he could open his mouth, Linen came over first, disregarding the others, and pulled him aside, ”Ade, I just had a new idea with Luo Yu, and I was about to find you. Didn’t expect you to show up.”

Fang Hong felt speechless as he looked at him. Previously, when he faced Nikopolas with him at the Elfendo Spire, he hadn’t noticed this trait—this guy was an Alchemy fanatic.

In his view, there seemed to be only Alchemy and artisan competitions, and anything else unrelated seemed to turn into mere air—or perhaps even less, because in Eteliria, atmospheric elements could also participate in alchemical reactions.

Fang Hong sighed, knowing that if he didn’t ask what the idea was, he wouldn’t get anything else done today. He could only cast an apologetic glance towards Hilveld, but fortunately, Miss Ship’s Officer was understanding and simply smiled and nodded at him.

”Alright, what’s the idea?”

”Ade, the so-called Numelin Elves’ legacy is essentially Elf Alchemy, right?”
