Pillar of Yita

The people saw emerging from the clouds, a beautiful and graceful creature, its scales like silver waves, with two pairs of wings resembling butterfly wings, light and slender in form, making almost everyone forget its highest rank among the creatures of Eteliria.

Dragon.

In the Southern Region, whether residents or visitors, few have not heard of the legend of the master of Holy Bow Peak. Many have even witnessed, it is the king of Nevade, the shelter protector of the fairies—he calls himself the Elf Anluose, but the locals prefer using his dragon name:

Mierliu Ximi Si.

Mierliu Ximi Si plunged from the clouds, like a meteor from beyond the heavens, transforming into a silver light, heavily striking the back of Nikopolas. Sharp claws tore through the latter’s black scales, and molten gold blood gushed from the wound.

The latter let out a shrill scream, faced with an opponent of the same level, he could no longer concern himself with Fang Hong below. It flapped its wings, turned around, and spat a mouthful of golden fiery flames at Mierliu Ximi Si, but a gigantic twelve-pointed star array appeared between the silver dragon’s claws, countless hexagonal light shields unfolded, blocking the flames thoroughly.

Magic.

The item bestowed upon the dragons by the Dragon God, one of the most miraculous creations of Eteliria. Mierliu Ximi Si turned within the flames, sweeping Nikopolas away with its tail, sending it crashing between the fortieth and fiftieth floors of the high tower.

With a crash, smoke and dust enveloped the tower top at once.

But Nikopolas let out an angry scream, immediately flying out of the ruins, endless hatred burning in its golden fire eyes, for such grace that the dark giant dragon could never obtain.

It collided into Mierliu Ximi Si like a black shadow, the latter, surprised by its rapid recovery and far inferior in strength and size compared to the enormous black dragon, was sent flying away.

On the beautiful body of Mierliu Ximi Si, there appeared a distressing wound, flowing with silver blood. But it seemed unaware, folding its four wings, halting in mid-air. At this moment, numerous points of light passed over it, flying towards Nikopolas.

Those were the ’Knight’ constructs of the combat artisans.

Mierliu Ximi Si looked at these little things, a voice resounding through the clouds: ”Help me restrain it.”

As it spoke, it flew upwards, a flash of silver light appeared in its front claw, and there was a magic wand, entirely snow-white, seemingly just a calcified branch. But what looked like a branch in Mierliu Ximi Si’s hand would appear as a towering giant tree to a mortal.

Mierliu Ximi Si opened its mouth, gazing solemnly at the Nikopolas below, and suddenly from deep within its throat issued a peculiar incantation, as if thousands of syllables were stacked together. It raised the wand in its hand, slowly drawing a massive array around itself.

At that moment, the heavens and earth changed colors, and in the sky appeared once again the phenomenon of magic power backflow, as ether wind gathered from all directions, flowing into the wand in Mierliu Ximi Si’s hand.

The clouds that had dispersed gathered once again above the silver dragon’s head, several rifts opened simultaneously in the sky, cascading silver strands hung down from them. However, what flowed in this waterfall was not water, but surging magic power.

Due to the disturbance of magic power, the sky transformed into a golden-red hue, like the afternoon waning into evening, a sight of burning clouds.

Everyone in the plaza stood dumbfounded, mouths agape, watching this apocalyptic scene—that was the dragon’s incantation, a forbidden technique etched into the very bloodlines of dragons, a magic they would scarcely use a few times in their entire lives.

In fact, most warfare-level magic of mortals is learned from such forbidden techniques. Yet compared to the original, both in quality and scale—they fall short by far too much—even compared to the forbidden spells of Numelin Elves, they are still lacking.

Nonetheless, the history of mortals imitating the dragon’s incantation using alchemy and magic guided conductors is merely about a hundred years old.

The sky darkened.

Thus, the silver light flow in the hands of fourteen artisan masters in the plaza became increasingly conspicuous, like fourteen shimmering rivers of light, converging at the top of Elfendo Tower, making a silver star there.

Grow ever more dazzling.

The arrival of the master of the Tower of Summer’s End filled Fang Hong with surprise and joy, almost rescuing him from a desperate situation. He ’held’ a spear, seeing through the eyes of the dragon knight tens of constructs with pale blue light trails, flying towards Nikopolas.

But the dark giant dragon strained against them, scattering them apart.

The gathered starlight in mid-air scattered once more.

It spread its wings, flying towards Mierliu Ximi Si in mid-air, even though it lost its magical ability, its bloodline still held the memory and dread of the dragon’s incantation—it knew what kind of power that was.

Fang Hong discarded the spear.

The dragon knight turned, drawing forth a lightbeam longsword—that was a pure ether flow constructed Galapea—unfortunately without a true Dragon Slaying Holy Sword in his hand, otherwise, this beam would be a real materialized entity.

But it was enough.

The dragon knight leaped forward, flying into the sky, a pair of light wings growing from his back, with a clear color, emitting countless ether flows, propelling this tall construct towards Nikopolas.
