Pillar of Yita

His knowledge and experiences in Alchemy have been growing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

If it weren’t for the disproportion between cognitive experience and the source of knowledge, he might have had a chance to level up here again. However, even at this pace, it was enough to astonish people; discussions about him among Alchemists were increasing by the day—

But there’s a limit to working behind closed doors, and Fang Hong gradually felt he was hitting a bottleneck. The acquisition of cognitive experience was dwindling, and it seemed to be running dry.

And Diket’s letter sparked his idea of setting out.

However, he had a plan in mind, ”one good turn deserves another”.

”Speaking of which, the Chairman of Ragnarok sent me a thank-you letter,” he mentioned with a smug sense of satisfaction.

”Isn’t that Mr. Odin?” Gita asked quietly.

”Saying the Chairman of Ragnarok sounds more formal. After all, he’s the King of Warriors. He mentioned in the letter that he thanks me for everything I’ve done for Ragnarok.” Fang Hong felt a small sense of pride, just short of pulling out that letter to show off—though it was an electronic letter, so he couldn’t have physically shown it.

He understood the reason for Odin’s gratitude; it wasn’t just because of Fanric’s tournament. More crucially, he had informed Odin about the Super Competitive League’s official stationed in Ragnarok ahead of time, allowing them to react accordingly and minimize repercussions from ensuing events.

Of course, damages were unavoidable, but at least they prevented greater harm. Moreover, with what he had taught Dill and Cui Yu, after the tournament, he trained a few people for a time, including Eis’s group, imparting the fundamental knowledge of Numelin Elves’ Alchemy to them.

Unfortunately, the advanced content was too profound. He tried letting people give it a shot, but in the end, it came to nothing. The alchemy arrays he could easily draw seemed like a Heavenly Book to others, leaving them to part ways with regret.

After the incident, Cui Yu, Dill, and Eis’s group were all respectful towards him and called him teacher, which left him feeling uncomfortable for a time. Even the Soul Fingerprint privately wrote a letter of thanks to him.

As for whether he would spread the technology of the Numelin Elves, he didn’t think much about it.

After all, he never intended to keep it secret. After consulting Anluose, the master of Nevade merely left the decision up to him:

”The heritage of the Silver Tower needs a suitable successor, but how you choose to use this knowledge is up to you.”

Those were his exact words.

But it was apparent that the other party appreciated his decision. The spark of inspiration is born through communication; a hoarding mentality could never achieve the current state of Eteliria Alchemy, and as a fellow Alchemist, Anluose naturally understood this deeply.

Gita couldn’t help but rub her forehead, feeling that her Brother Ade was a bit too embarrassing.

”Didn’t Mr. Odin mention anything else?”

”No.”

That was what Fang Hong was most satisfied with. Even though Odin did not stop asking him whether he’d join Ragnarok, once met with his refusal, he never asked again. This straightforward style was in stark contrast to a certain woman.

Yes, he was referring to a certain woman from Elite, Virus, who since the Fanric tournament, sent him emails every few days asking whether he would collaborate with Elite. No matter how many times he declined, the tone of the next email was exactly the same.

It almost made him suspect the other party was just copy-pasting.

This was excessive.

Feeling a tad vexed, he said to the two, ”Miss Atira, Gita, let’s head inside first.”

Atira nodded her head.

But before the three could step into the hall, a Half-Elf appeared from the side, held out a hand to stop them, and with a slight smile said, ”Mr. Ade, may I have a word?”

Fang Hong paused, thinking the words sounded awfully familiar, causing him to look cautiously at the others:

The person was wearing a green long shirt with silver embroidery, a brown vest over it, hawk-beaked trousers typical of Rangers, ’String of Nature Demon’ enchanted boots, a chameleon cloak, and a huge recurve bow on his back—the Magic Guided Reactor was also a REM model, the Rangers’ military-use Magic Guided Reactor made by the Emerald Bird Workshop.

His first impression was, wow, this person is really wealthy.

But before he could speak, a silhouette darted in from the side, blocking him and separating him from the other person, saying coldly, ”Luce, what are you doing here?”

Fang Hong focused his gaze, recognizing it was none other than Red Leaf.

The Half-Elf Ranger, courteous, replied, ”As you can see, to introduce myself to Mr. Ade.”

”Ade doesn’t need you to introduce yourself.”

Red Leaf, a bit heatedly, blocked the person away and turned to Fang Hong and the others, saying, ”Ade, Miss Atira, Gita, let’s go.”

The three were slightly startled, glanced once at the person, but still followed Red Leaf into the hall.

The Half-Elf Ranger smiled cheerfully, without obstructing them. Fang Hong glanced back, seeing the other not following, only then turned around, somewhat puzzled, asking, ”Miss Red Leaf, who was that?”

”An annoying guy,” Red Leaf replied. But remembering Yugudola’s instructions, she sighed, softening her tone as she said, ”Ade, Miss Atira, actually, there is something I’ve been meaning to tell you—The Chairman, Sister Hongxiu, and other high-ups have fallen out, and Tabopolis, on paper still a single Guild, has essentially split into two.”
