Pillar of Yita

”Hawk-Beak Bean and the others haven’t participated in making large constructs, they lack a bit of experience.”

Soul Fingerprint replied softly.

”Thank you, Senior Soul Fingerprint.”

”You’re welcome.”

Soul Fingerprint asked again, ”But there’s still an assistant, who do you plan to choose? How about Liuli Yue?”

”He’s not suitable.” Fang Hong shook his head, not because he looked down on him. Rather, Liuli Yue’s main profession was that of a Combat Artisan, reaching this stage in the artisan competition was already his limit, bringing him into the field wouldn’t have any advantages.

He looked at the field, for a moment he truly couldn’t think of anyone suitable. None of the Ragnarok members had any experience in crafting main constructs, and the others he knew were even less competent.

Luo Yu was also unsuitable, purely in terms of craftsmanship, he was even worse than Cui Yu and Dill.

As he thought, he looked across the competition field.

There, the Elfendo Council had already chosen assistants for Rolin—one of them was Linen, who was considered a standout in the Elfendo Council team and had also undergone the test of the Hall of Thousand Doors.

The other person, Fang Hong hadn’t seen before.

”That person is also a Novastar from Elfendo,” Soul Fingerprint introduced then: ”And I must remind you, Ade, that person has experience in designing main constructs.”

Fang Hong couldn’t help but take a gentle breath in reaction to Elfendo Council’s arrangement.

In that moment, what he thought of was Ye Hua.

The sense of isolation made him clench his fist lightly.

Yet until now, he still couldn’t understand why the other party made such a decision.

He gently closed his eyes.

What appeared before him was a night in the Elf Ruins, the scene from that day, had he forgotten it? No, in fact, he still remembered it vividly.

The promise he made to Miss Sicape had never been forgotten.

He reopened his eyes—

Then shook his head, without saying much more; Elfendo’s arrangement was justifiable. Rolin was originally the candidate chosen internally by them, and Soul Fingerprint could play, naturally they could arrange other participants.

At this moment, the staff reminded him for the second time:

”Mr. Ade, please choose your second assistant.”

Fang Hong shook his head again, asking aloud: ”Can I use only one assistant?” He couldn’t find any more suitable assistants, so what’s the difference between one and two assistants?

Without relevant crafting experience, they would merely be a hindrance.

The staff hesitated for a moment, probably not expecting such a request.

But at that moment, a voice sounded: ”Mr. Ade...” The voice was somewhat nervous and shy, quietly asking: ”Can I be your assistant?”

Fang Hong turned around surprised, only to see that the speaker was a squinty-eyed boy with glasses from the Ancient Tower team’s squad. Fang Hong hesitated for a moment before recalling that he was from the Iron Oak Guild and came from the MVP club.

But he didn’t actually know the other person’s ID.

The young man, face flushed, said: ”Although I haven’t participated in the design and crafting related to main constructs, I have understood some things myself and read some related books. Mr. Ade, rest assured, I won’t hold you back...”

After speaking, he supplemented with a sentence, saying earnestly: ”Mr. Ade, I’ve learned a lot from your competition in Elpaxin; please trust me this time.”

Fang Hong looked at him, asking: ”What is your ID?”

The young man showed a delighted look: ”My ID is my real name, I’m Zheng Yongzai.”

Fang Hong smiled slightly: ”I’ll trouble you then.”

The latter nodded repeatedly, quickly taking the gray-blue work coat from the staff’s hands and walking over.

Soul Fingerprint watched the two quietly, then finally asked: ”Ade, how much do you understand about main constructs?”

Fang Hong shook his head silently.

The so-called main construct is actually the scholarly name for a Pseudo Dragon Knight.

This Construct School actually emerged simultaneously with the Immortal Knight’s Combat Artisan faction, and the famed Combat Artisan Pseudo Dragon Knight was fundamentally laid by this faction.

These knowledge pieces were systematically organized when he was in the Hall of Thousand Doors.

Though he previously acted confidently in front of Ande, it was merely to prevent Ande from worrying excessively; in fact, what experience did he truly have in crafting main constructs?

His understanding of main constructs was limited to the brief learning experience spanning from the third Red Gate to the fourth Red Gate in the Hall of Thousand Doors.

The only flexible construct remotely resembling a main construct he had ever seen was the Twin Stars from Orphen given by Sophie, which wasn’t strictly a true main construct.

Much less, he still hadn’t completely understood Orphen’s Twin Stars.

Must he create the main construct along this line of thought?

It seemed there was no other choice.

Simultaneously as Fang Hong fell into contemplation.

Rolin had already, with the assistance of Linen and another helper, organized his crafting ideas, and the three started preparing materials and tools in collaboration.

On the other hand, Fang Hong’s side, which hadn’t had any action, seemed somewhat conspicuous to the audience.

After handling a Resonance Crystal, Rolin suddenly stopped, and cast a deep glance at the opposite side of the competition field. He spoke asking: ”Linen, what do you think?”
